“ The staff was very nice and helped me get around the city, and they had my room ready when I arrived at 8am!! ”
Chessa,
Burlington, Nc
Centrally located and just half a mile from the beach, this hotel has a pleasant cafeteria and restaurant serving typical Spanish cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Perfectly located just 55 yards from the famous Calle Larios and beside the harbor, you can easily walk to Malaga’s attractions from the Venecia. Visit the impressive cathedral and the Roman Theatre as well as the Museum of the famous artist, Picasso who was born in Malaga. Sleep soundly in the prettily decorated rooms which enjoy tiled floors, floral prints and pine-wood furniture. All rooms enjoy private bathrooms and plenty of natural light. You can admire views over the city from the large windows and surf the free, wireless internet connection. Start the day with an authentic espresso from the Venecia safe and then enjoy a wholesome breakfast which samples fresh, local produce. The staff was friendly. There is a room for leaving baggage. A free wi- fi is available in hotel's rooms. Besides the location is good: in the city center and not far from beaches. The hairdryer is to be much desired. The furniture is old enough.

- Location - comfortable beds - big bathroom - We found hair in the bathtub and stains on one towel - used towels were not changed for the next day - breakfast was rather poor, especially as we were expecting a ''continental'' (buffet?) breakfast, as stated on the hotel page - Staff in the Cafe was not friendly, would ignore us and we had to wait quite long to be served ( though there were few customers only having breakfast then, breakfast itself was very disappointing... I would have rather saved my extra 4euros and got a proper nicer breakfast somewhere else

A nice mid class hotel in a perfect location. Very good wifi, clean rooms. While this is a very good hotel for its class, it suffers from -guess what- the mattress! I am now for the 30th day on the road, have slept in about 20 different hotels and never made a thought about the mattress except here. I really suffered. I had the impression that the middle of my body was higher than the feet and the head. I couldn't find a position to feel comfortable. Now combine this with the poor isolation (back road room) and the noises heard like being made in the room (although the window was closed) and the good mid class hotel became a nightmare. And not a wine to get drunk and fall asleep: the mini bar was completely empty. Not even a tiny bottle of water.

Very central, room at the back so no noise from the main road. Nice simple breakfast. The bathroom flooded because the shower splash panel was missing it's sealant strip. The hotel is so central there is no wear to park, so the car parking fee was more expensive than to hire the car !

Clean and well furnished with Italian theme pictures and decor. Good location for shops and tourist attractions. A bit noisy from traffic outside, but only to be expected as it was located on a busy main road. The city awoke fairly early, so if you are a light sleeper, best to use earplugs!
