Hotel Vent de Mar    

Excellent staff who spoke English. Close to beach & many restaurants in town. (only 3-5 min to beach & restaurants with restaurant also right across the street) Lots of free parking. Modern facility. Breakfast selection was excellent with wide variety.

There were no blankets on bed. (Just sheet & thin bedspread) However, I'm sure if we had asked for blankets the hotel would have accommodated us.

the staff was very friendly and the facilities were very good. Breakfast was superb.

We chose the hotel Vent de Mar because Puerto de Sagunto was the first place you hit the Meditteranean on the trip from Bilbao so it was a good stopover and walking distance to the sea front, It was exactly as described on the website, clean friendly and with excellent breakfast. Would recommend it to anyone

It would have been helpful if I could have nipped out taking the key without leaving my wife in the dark as taking the key turned the lights out.

at Vent de Mar we found best value for money for Las Fallas. Hotel is very clean and comfortable, there were no such thinks like smell in the room or old shabby matress,basically no noes. Further on, price included breakfast with vary good variety of dishes.

wifi was not really working. Access was too complicated, and the network hardly visible at any parts of the building.

Clean, comfortable, great breakfast but it closed a bit to early on the weekend. I would certainly return and set my alarm to be sure to get to breakfast, it was worth getting up.The variety of pastries, breads, cheeses was great and the fresh orange juice was delicious, there was hot food like eggs and breakfast meats as well.

The room door was noisy to close. It felt as if everyone was slamming the door, when I tried to close it quietly it did not close so I too made the slamming noise and hoped no one around was sleeping

The staff are friendly; The room is very comfortable and it has a private terrace with sea views; The buffet breakfast is very good with a large variety of food. There are lots of parking places in front of the hotel and you can also choose to park in a secure, underground parking for a reasonable price. Also we liked the walk along the coast and the tapas restaurants nearby. The price of the room with breakfast was excellent.

Only one thing: The TV set is a little old fashioned and small.

Beds, rooms and in particular bathrooms are in very good condition, spacy and well equipped. The basement garage is excellent. Breakfast buffet with large selection

Our room was on the 5th floor at the back. No traffic noise to speak of - but dogs barking all night somewhere not far away. And noise from the nearby elevators, from the (empty!) refrigerator plus a safety light in the ceiling that went on all by itself 2-3 times during tne night! So if you don't sleep like a log, maybe you should avoid this otherwise good, reasonable hotel......

Nothing about the hotel. Restaurants in the area were somewhat limited, due to not being at high season.

Excelent value for money.We stayed one night on our way south, and I must say it was the best value for money we have had on our travels form northern France to southern Spain. Accomodation was clean and spacious, but the breakfast was the star,everything one could ask for in a buffet which was included in the price.

The staff were nice, helpful and friendly.

The room was in a state of neglect - cracks, walls marked, found something unsavoury between my bedcover and sheets......

we stayed at this hotel as a stop over and were very pleasantly supprised with the size of the room, breakfast etc, we have stayed all over france and this hotel was the cheapest and by far the best, we would not hesitate to stay there again, or holiday there the beach is lovely and family friendly, i would certainly recomend this hotel to any one and any age, it was superb.

we liked everything about this hotel

close to the beach and restaurants. breakfast was excellent. near to bus stop to get to the old town which we loved especially the castle.

nothing we didn't like

The hotel is situated in the Puerto de Sagunto, which is nice, calm and typically Spanish beach resort. The beach itself it quite large, and the hotel is nice - very helpful and nice staff at reception, nice (albeit a bit small) room, balcony where you can relax.

The only downside is location - its a bit far (10-15 min walk) from the beach, and surroundings are not the best. Also would be nice to have sea, rather than city, view room.

We booked one night stay on the way to Benidorm. And were very impressed with the standard for the price we paid . The breakfast was impressive . Also impressed with your internet booking will use it again and let all my friends on face book know thank you

the hotel was very clean did not look nearly 8 years old it was in a good location near the beach the choice of food and quality were excellent for breakfast there were lovely sandy beaches all along the coast.

Bright airy room with balcony and air con. Close to beach and seafront restaurants. Friendly staff.

Very good value for money, our room was confortable and quite clean. The staff were pleasant and polite and very helpfull as regards to places to visit as well as how to get to a particular location.

Having to queue for breakfast when there were tables of four and six with only two persons sitting at the table. The breakfast area was not that large and on our first morning we asked a couple behind us if they wanted to share a table and they gladly accepted. I asked the Staff member at the entrance, "why can't we sit on the table for six with two persons on it", and he shrugged his shoulders. The breakfast itself was very good apart from the coffee machine which indicated cappuccino but gave out hot chocolate. Only a little moan!

Very good location, close to the sea, near a historical town, with good connections to Valencia, good Beach. Staff is excellent.

In the morning it's noisy, being a big hotel, the cleaning starts in the rooms, also everybody goes for the breakfast, so don't expect to sleep until 12 o'clock. On the other hand you should wake up anyway for the breakfast, served until 10 in a pretty crowded restaurant.

It was not mentioned during the booking that there are smoking and non-smoking rooms - our room was on the 4th floor, where smooking is allowed. This was extremely disappointing!

Having travelled a good 4 hours on a motorbike to get to hotel vent de mar it was a welcome relaxing place. We stayed one night as we are touring the whole of Spain and has been the best hotel we've been in for the price. Easy secure parking, friendly staff, close to a few good bars/cafes and only a 5 minute walk to the beach! Great value for money as we only paid 45 euros for the night!
