Promenade is touristy, but a few streets back Fuengirola is a Spanish town with good facilities, excellent quality fruit and veg and fish at half the UK cost. Proper high street with clothes and shoe shops, even Botox clinics if this is your thing ! Huge Carrefour supermarket ( equivalent of Waitrows) and smaller Mercadona (equivalent of Tescos)
Every type of restaurants even Indians, Thai, English fish and chip shop.
Parking is difficult but area around mosque is free, don't try on a Friday or Sunday !

Great town.Has a commuter rails station for a 25 minute trip from Malaga airport (train will be busy). Has lots of amenities, a nice town centre, a great beach and a big indoor shopping centre. Not too touristy apart from the sea front towards the town centre, but not full of fish and chip shops and plenty of actual Spanish people living and working in town. Good for families looking for a nice place to relax.

Fuengirola is simply stunning.
Fuengirola is simply stunning. Not very busy to compare to Marbella which it makes great for family with kids. Definitely you need a car to get around the place as hills are very steep. There are plenty of nice restaurant with great food and decent prices. I would highly recommend La Costa.

Typical place at costa and you can easily just spend days at beach. However, with a little effort there is a lot to explore and many nature sites to visit! Safe and compact area with easy to walk around and good public transport.
The quality of the welcome from all the staff we met was outstanding. The hotel generally was in good condition, despite it being the end of the season and very convenient for our walk (a little over 3km) along the promenade to the theatre in Fuengirola and our return on the train (4 mins, €1.80).
Location excellent just across from beach.
Around 40 mins on train from airport then a 5 minute walk to hotel
Plenty great restaurants around, we stayed B &B.
Staff superb, friendly and helpful. Easy access to Fuengirola port, town centre and bus station
Excellent location in the centre of Fuengirola. The food and staff were superb and our room and the rest of the hotel was beautifully maintained and clean, Would recommend this to any one who is looking for value for money accommodation in Fuengirola
Clean room on the beachfront. A pool was available although the weather wasn’t warm enough for people to use when I stayed . The hotel seemed well set up for an over-50s clientele with entertainment provided. Staff were friendly and multi-lingual
I have stayed here before and have had good experiences on three previous occasions. . This hotel is 15 yards from the beech and a 10 minute stroll to the center of Fuengirola , ideal for a short bit of exercise for those of us that need it.
The room was excellent . Super clean. The location of the hotel is perfect. 2 mins walk to the Bus station and 4 mins walk to the train station of Fuengirola and the beach. So easy to be able to travel to other parts of Málaga.
The aparthotel complex was modern and spacious and was close to the center of Fuengirola. The staff was nice and everything looked like in the photos. The kitchen was well equipped and the balcony was spacious with a great view.
I have now enjoyed a number of short stays in this hotel and am very pleased to see that standards are being maintained, and in some areas improved, despite the pressures being felt by the hospitality industry.
Staff are excellent. Friendly and helpful. Hotel is well located and one of the few in Fuengirola with their own parking.
All rooms seem to have a sea view with easy access to the paseo
