Located in the medieval town of Laguardia, this hotel is close to important vineyards. The hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, a wine and oil spa and free Wi-Fi access. The restaurant was excellent, excellent quality for the price!! Pool is not available if you do not pay for it. There is no taxis available if you want to go ior come back into town.

Fabulous hotel – when checking in the hotel upgraded us to a fabulous room, the breakfasts was one of the best I have had in Spain and the food in the restaurants was very good. They have a lovely pool area and outdoor seating. The hotel is within an easy uphill walk to Laguardia

Nice clean room with good views. Pool not open even though nice and sunny - only open July and August. Taster menu was good and reasonably priced. Too much choice in wines with no guidance on scores of Riojas. Reception was not very welcoming - we booked the previous day and they could not spot the booking and they were quite frosty. Pool waiter service was poor - eventually after waiting 10 minutes for our drink I fetched it myself - waiter had forgotten, drinks were poured but barmen did not speak to waiter!

This lovely hotel is situated centrally in the Rioja Alavesa region. The rooms were very comfortable, large bathrooms, lovely views. The buffet breakfast was delicious and bountiful. The staff was freindly . The only negative was the terrible food in the bar.. Awful, frozen pizza advertised as fresh and the waiter recommended a terrible , expensive wine that was a sin considering the hotel's location in the premier wine producing region of Spain. There was no doorman to assist with luggage which was a surprise in a supposed 4 star hotel.

Our room had a view of the mountains but we had to ask for it. Other rooms faced a road which could be quite busy and noisy. I didn't like the fact that the hotel didn't mention it's proximity to a sometimes busy road. I found this out by using Google maps

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Excellent location to explore the Rioja countryside. On the edge of the town (5 minute walk) which meant parking was not an issue (it can be in town). Excellent hotel which we will visit again.

Location good although up a steep hill to town. Handy parking lovely hotel I loved the old fashioned decor. Nice outdoor pool area & play area for kids both in the hotel & outside. Free wifi which was very useful. Didn't eat in hotel so can't comment. Bar was disappointing decor wise compared to rest of hotel. All in all would recommend.

The location is central to most wineries and near the large town of Logono. The staff was aloof, especially the front desk staff. When we asked about the mountains in the area the response was "check the Internet." Each time we approached the desk the person (and there were many) were either on the phone for a personal call or viewing their office PC.

Is very well located in the winery country. Very close to Laguardia that is a medieval village with a lot of winery businesses. Just a couple of dumb things that the front desk is aware of and are easy to fix. Nothing relevant.
