The front desk staff were very welcoming, the menu selection was good as was having a choice between the restaurant and bistro. The breakfast was excellent.

As we were leaving before breakfast, it was disappointing that we could not get room service before 8am. Also would have preferred if there was a choice of wine by the glass in the bar.

Great hotel close to a walled ,traffic- free town.Takes 10 minute walk but it isn't too bad. Parking is handy and the pool is really good. An enjoyable stay.

It was a lovely hotel just a short walk (2min) out if a lovely village

I do not think they liked dogs apparently you hav to hav a dog in the cage even waking through the reception area .... We were travelling from England to the south of Spain with our dog. When we booked it said this hotel was dog friendly .... I think they just about tolerated dogs!!!

This was our third time at the hotel, the girls love it. The terrace at the restaurant overlooking the park is perfect.

Its perfect if you go with kids. The only problem, the cafetería only opens at 10 am

Staff, food and location were excellent. Would like to go back for the wine spa! 2 restaurants with superb local food, interesting, different and delicious. Good for ecotourists concerend with food miles.

One of our rooms smelled strongly of stale smoke - unfortunately hotel too full to change but staff concerned and helpful. Don't visit Bodega El Fabulista for a tour unless you prearrange in English or speak Spanish - but do drink their wine!!

Spa treatments, dining was excellent in the Medoc Restaurant.. A must try! Rooms were big and king sized beds.

No ironing board in room. Limited wine appreciation tours in English... Being in the Rioja foreign tourist are liking for such an experience.

We liked the location of the hotel because it was very easy to find & within walking distance to the lovely town of Laguardia. Also the car parking was excellent and felt secure.

Not much to dislike except it maybe needs a little updating.

The receptionist was very friendly and made us feel very welcome which isn't often the case when travelling with a dog. There is a small lake nearby which made for a lovely evening and morning walk with the dog. The town of LaGuardia is beautiful and is a must see and is only a 10 minute walk away. The breakfast was great and is worth the money with a great choice of food.

One of the waiters in the restaurant in the evening only appeared to cheer up as his shift finished. The meal was a little disappointing given the price but I think it was a bad choice as my wife had the steak with foie gras which was superb.

    - a very nice hotel with beautiful rooms - a very nice view from the balcony - free parking

    - road close to the hotel - you need to go up the hill to get to the centre of Laguardia

Spacious rooms, vine center nearby. Excellent breakfast. Nice design.

Photos do not really reflect the fact, that hotel is located next to the road and next to rather ugly apartment block.
