Close to city center. Few steps from Gran Via and Plaza Espana, Many cafes and restaurant nearby. If you like asian food/goods it's good choose because this is "Asian" district. Flat was clean, girl with keys was on time (we notice them via booking.com about our arrival time) Very loud - if you like parities, city life- good choose.
No internet connection in flat no.8 We tried on Mac, Phones, tablets-nothing. We have been told by other guest that router in the flat at the other side of corridor so no Wifi coverage in no. 8. Don't take no.8 unless they give you router into room. Cockroach at the door step. Much worst interior than on photos! If you like calm environment not for you-very loud during weekend-closed windows didn't help.
I liked that this hotel-apartment was close to Plaza Espana and the Metro. It's location on GranVia made it easy to get to everywhere - walking distance to the Royal Palace, etc.
While the location of the place was good, my husband - and even I, once - couldn't go out the back part of the hotel without being propositioned by prostitutes; not really a great place for a family to be walking around. The apartment looked clean at first but we weren't long in it before we realized that we weren't the only guests: the kitchen and bathroom played host to a very large, extended family of roaches, some of which ventured into the living room whenever they felt like watching a show with us. My children would not shower because the roaches came out of the drain when you turned the water on, or saw you coming, clamoured up to the ceiling and waited, at least ten at a time, for you to finish. The kitchen was poorly equipped and the things that *were* there were covered in some kind of grime so everything had to be washed (and in once case boiled) before we could use them. The real kicker here though was the AC. The ad says "This air conditioned apartment is...", but what it doesn't say is that the AC is *shut off* between midnight and 8:00am. I thought ours was broken and sent an email when we woke up boiling at 4:00am only to be told of this rule that is NOT in their ad. They said they never mentioned it because no one has ever complained. I found that hard to believe, considering when we stayed there it was *AUGUST*. In *MADRID*. In their defense they did bring us in a fan when we continued to complain, and it helped, but if we had known from the get go that this "air conditioned" apartment was only air conditioned part time, we might not have booked. If we'd known it was a roach hotel, we definitely wouldn't have. We were in Spain and Portugal for seven weeks on this holiday and stayed in hotels and hotel-apartments and guest flats all over, and this was by far the worst.
The place is well located.
Wifi was not working for the first day, they fixed it by the second night.
Great location...close to shops and restaurants, the cafe downstairs is a lovely place with great staff and great food
The wifi didn't work throughout the whole 5 days. We didn't have hot water in the shower for the first day and when they fixed it we didn't have cold water from the sink! Pictures on the website are absolutely untrue! The room was boiling (no aircond functioning!) plus they charged us 15 euros for cleaning purposes and the room was absolutely dirty every day!
The location of the apartment is great The relationship between cost and value for money is good The kitchinnet is well equipped
some details needed a little more maintenance
I stayed in apartment No.5(not the hotel No.11),which is more spacious, cozy and good sign-view. The apartment has fullset kitchenware, nice bathroom and a washing machine.
The TV is small and no International channels.
the location is great, most sighseeing are able to walk to. but the room is tiny for us, especially the bathroom which is too tiny to turn around.
a few staff can speak English. and i've still been waiting for the receipt after one week back home.
very close to the center. We missed only water-cooker in the room. There is wash machine and iron, we had also everything needed for cooking.
a bit noisy
Not very comfortable and kind of old
The location is perfect! It is near city centre. The facilities are awesome, very comfortable and safe for groups of friends
Although the location is fervent, it is a little hard to find at the beginning. But we love this place so much!!
Very near Gran Via and center town. That's a strong point. They arranged a garage place for our car near the apartment. The car stood there for almost 4 days with no problem, paying a fee of 20 euros/day (not expensive). The team that received us seemed serious people and there was no problem with payments.
We were a family of five (two adults and three children). Five beds inside the appartment made our life difficult. There was no detergent and spoon for cleaning dishes and so we had to buy. Very small bathroom. The water cylinder was small, so after 4 baths it finished and we had to wait for the refillement of the cylinder. The appartment is not good if you have trouble in sleeping, since the noise from the street may disturb a little.
You need to have a mobile phone to call the owner at the time of check in. Its not a professional hostel or apartment. No name written anywhere. GPS also cant trace the apartment.
If can not speak Spanish it is very hard to communicate with the staff, great location and clean room.
A good place, clean and confortable. Central and easy to find everything.
Location is really good. Apartments are comfortable and nice. There is the kitchen there.
There is no kettle at the kitchen
