Villa Guadalupe  

This hotel has a great view of Malaga. It is off of the beaten path but in a very nice hilltop neighborhood. The service was great and the food was terrific. If you are looking for a quiet stay, with excellent amenities this is the place. Malaga is a 10-13 euro ride in a text so you have easy access to Malaga's attractions.

Very well designed and the restaurant was excellent. Staff was responsive and very friendly. Lovely views and spacious private terrace overlooking the Mediterranean. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the room and the hotel in general.

That we were only there one night. Would have stayed longer if time would have allowed.

Views were terrific; food was very good; easy access to airport if in-transit; room clean, spacious and good value for money.

Evening meal, while good, was somewhat over-priced.

Difficult to get there unless you have a car.

I loved everything about Villa Guadalupe from the moment I arrived. It is a small boutique hotel and all the staff are very warm and welcoming. The food is fabulous, the views to die for and the hotel is tastefully decorated.

The location - once we had found it(!) - was very peaceful yet well situated to visit much of the local area. The staff were brilliant - welcoming and so eager to please. We ate in the restaurant which was wonderful. Being family run definitiely made us feel at home.

Beds a bit hard!

Very restful, very professional. Rooms were clean, well furnished and of a good size. Staff were friendly and attentive at all times. The restaurant provided a fabulous Andalucian menu at a fair price. We're looking forward to the next time.

Although it's fairly near the airport it is not an easy transfer. Either use a taxi or take a gps with you.

We loved everything about this hotel, great staff, great food, fantastic views, very very clean, we took our little pet dog with us and she too was made very welcome, would definately stay here everytime we are in Malaga, we had dinner there too it was delicious, Family run hotel, just fabulus!!

Excellent service, outstanding restaurant, nice, good-sized and well decorated rooms, and gorgeous views of the city and sea.

Some may be discouraged by the logistical complexity of the location--15-20 minute taxi or car or bus/car combination to the center city, but we found the view, comfort, service and food fully worth the effort.

As a restaurant with rooms it was an excellent choice we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and definitely would come back to the hotel if we were again traveling around by car. The main reason for our visit was to experience the art and food of the hotel and for us it was perfect. The staff were so friendly and very accommodating.

For the city, it is a distance away but there is a bus at the bottom of the hill or a taxi can be used.

The competency of the reception personnel was excellent, the hotel transmitted an aura of 5 stars and the price was absolutely affordable- at this time of the year (October).

Our room on the first floor was a little small. We had to walk across the back porch to get any view at all - standing up. But the view was worth the effort - any time! The office of the reception person appeared cluttered and could stand a good refit and upgrade. Not exactly representative and suited for the quality of the rest of the hotel.

We were swept away by the view of Malaga from the terrace/restaurant. Then we were swept away by the food. Amador, Candice and Alex were great hosts being friendly helpful with just the right touch. We traded useful translations with the lovely ladies who sorted our breakfasts and received lots of useful advice on eating at other Andalusian restaurants from Candice which was very helpful in Ronda Cordoba and Antequera. Finally we were most impressed by the quality and scope of the artwork on display all over the hotel and were touched by the story behind it. A delightful visit and wonderful place to stay.

This is great hotel with perfect view to the Malaga city. Restaurant is perfect and stuff is very friendly. Even if you are not going to state at hotel i suggest you to visit hotel and restaurant for a dinner. Good food and fantastic view. You need a car to get to the hotel.

It's might be challenging to drive to this hotel.

A very nice restaurant and a very nice breakfast. Also a very nice room with balcony and views.

The transport to and from the city centre is by taxi only and the reception availabiltiy is limited.

Everything has been right. Stuff is friendly, rooms are clean. There is a very nice view at Malaga. I can recommend it for honeymoon, it looks very romantic.

If you don´t have a car with you, you have to go on foot to a hill and it´s very tiring.

I do not recommend breakfests in that hotel. Better to drive down the hill to local places.

My husband and myself were looking for something not too close to the center in an intimite place. Villa Guadalupe has provided us not only with an intimate place, but also with a feeling like home. Constant care about the guests was always in place. The kitchen was fantastic. Nice dinners combined with a splendid view of Malaga gifted us a few remarkable eventings. We both endlessly appreciated the place and recommend it to those, who travel with a car (Vila Guadalupe provided free parking) and appreciate escape from the city for a while to more quiet places. Price wise the deal was totally fair. In case we come back to Malaga I would not even bother to search for other locations

You should make a point to eat a the restaurant. The food is amazing. The staff is friendly and accomidating

Friendly boutique style hotel, with 4 star accommodation but 5 star location, ambience and quality of dining.

No tissues provided in the bedrooms.

Clean, modern, over looking the town and only 10 mins to the airport (no noise) very friendly owner and staff, excellent restaurant, car parking, great variety for breakfast and great views. We stayed just one night before flying home and it was the perfect choice. Would book again.

It is family run and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely to come back to in the evening. A very relaxing short break in an area of mature housing with a lovely view over Malaga and the sea. Keep going Villa Guadeloupe! :0)
