Fantastic hotel at reasonable price
The food was not very good
The swimming pool are at night is astonishing...
Everything you need on holiday to relax also activities around the pool and for the kids too great time had by all we go most years!!
The pools were lovely Breakfast and dinner were great Good holiday atmosphere Magic show was fun Really lovely looking hotel if you dont look at the cracks and the bits of missing plaster. Great fake beach
Were shown to our Family suite and outside the door was a pile of discarded baby equipment thrown out onto the pathway. The air con was noisy and the room smelt terrible. The room was filthy. We arrived an hour after check in time so there was no excuse. Tried to phone reception but no answer. Had to walk miles in 36C to try to find reception. They agreed to move us so we had to go back for our bags and then were told to change for the pool in toilet, which was filthy. The second room was quiet at least, the windows were filthy and the patio doors didnt lock. Which wouldnt have been an issue but we were on the ground floor this time so worried about someone getting in and stealing laptop, ipads etc. The whole hotel is showing its age and need for maintenance. I was very disappointed and I wouldnt return here in a hurry. Expensive and not value for money
Booked hotel for our anniversary. Upgraded to The Level. Staff at reception were so helpful. The room was marvellous, we were treated really first class. Nothing was too much trouble. The Spa was a great experience, the receptionist was so helpful. Had dinner in the Indigo restaurant, again, the waiters etc were excellent. Cant praise the staff and Hotel enough. Made our Anniversary memorable, will DEFINITELY be coming bk. A big thankyou to everyone.
Nothing not to like...
The pool is great and the surroundings!
The wifi connection was not very good!
Loved the location of the hotel ideal for relaxation break.
Didn't like that we asked for a double bed and got two singles. the food in the restaurant wasn't very good poor selection and cold.
I liked the whole concept of the hotel in a village type setting ... the buildings and pools were amazing ... the staff were efficient and friendly ... views were spectacular ... good value for money ... rooms were beautifully furnished ... large and airy ... with access to gardens ... wonderful!!!!!!!!
I found the breakfast not to my liking ... would have preferred a more healthy choice of cereal and wholemeal bread for toasting ... also it was difficult to obtain decaffeinated coffee!!!!
The Spa thermal circuit was good and so was the quality of food at the restaurants. The accommodation was excellent, large room and sitting area and lovely views over the garden.
However the staff at the restaurant rushed us and took plates away almost as soon as we finished and brought the next course. Also when we arrived at the parking area we were told to walk to the hotel, in heat and dragging a suitcase not good, then we discovered that they should have offered to take us in the golf buggy.
The complex is really nice, the pools are lovely, very relaxing place to stay, and only 10 euros in a taxi if you want any night life in Benidorm (which we didnt)
There isnt enough staff all around the hotel; We sat around the beach area, there was rubbish around all day (no bins, or I would have cleared it myself). The barbeque were unable to seat people quickly as the tables were not cleared, the same in the buffet area. It took ages to get a drink at the pool bar, as only 2 staff serving, both the restaurant area, and the poolside. I have to say the staff that are there are really pleasant, and try their best.
1 hour to check in. Queses for breakfast. No sunbeds, all taken. No orange juice for breakfast on 2nd day. Nissan banners everywhere. Car parking a long way from hotel. This hotel was far superior before it was taken over by Melia. You are paying premium prices for an inferior offering.
The pool area and the food were excellent the staff are more than helpful too
The smell in the rooms on the 7th floor was horrendous , I was only there for 5 nights and had to be moved to 5 different rooms , I was then presented with a bill for silly little things at the end of my stay which was disappointing considering how much I had been inconvenienced during my stay
I love the location and the golf courses
You have to buy more Club cars. And it is unbeliveble you can not drink a beer on the golf course. If you like to see how good service look like, go to Phena Longa, Lisabon. I would like to pay 20% if you would have that service.
The place is looks fantastic
Balcony overlooked the bins and delivery bay. So woken early every morning to the sound of vans and trucks delivering and the bins being emptied. Booked a double room ended up with 2 single beds. No toilet seat from Saturday we arrived until 7pm on Friday before we left Saturday. Sent laundry for washing took 3 days not 24 hours. And got charged £26 for 3 items. Wifi was virtually non-existent. And when trying to sort things out all you got was we don't understand. For a 4 star hotel / resort I wasn't that impressed
We only went for a couple of days to relax from the city life. The set up of the hotel is really quite amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We had a family suite with two bedrooms and a living room area which gave us the space we needed. The food at the pool was amazing, I loved the steak. Overall it was a success.
The drinks, Mojito and Caipirinha at the pool bar came from a premix which was not so great. For the price I would have expected freshly mixed. The hotel is separated into an adult-only area and a family area. When one travels with children one cannot go into the adult-only area. This was not clear beforehand and we ended up NOT being able to go to the heated pool or one of the restaurants. The heated pool was a place we wanted to take our 2-yeaer old to and it was disappointing not being able to, especially as the weather in May is not always great.
The village experience.
Wi fi connection speed.
We have just had an absolutely amazing long weekend. Everything in the accomodation was of high standard & well thought through. The staff were so friendly & whatever you needed they provided. Even the kids looked like they were really enjoying themselves.
The location of this huge complex is unique: built in a spanish colonial style in the hills, view on the sea and the 'skyline' of Benidorm and surrounded by golf facilities. The pools are wonderful ( when you are staying at the 4 star melia part - and not at 'the level' part- you do not have access to the heated pool). Breakfast buffet is perfect and worth its 4 stars. In contrast lunch and dinner (we tried most of the restaurants) are far below the expected quality. Besides the very experienced and helpful staff at the reception and in the breakfast room, almost no english language skills are present amount the - very friendly- staff ( cleaning, pool, restaurants etc). While this may seem to be a minor comment this became very enoying after a few days. The staff off the spa is very unfriendly, they were more interested in their mobile phones then in their guests. Wifi is very unstable and should be fixed immediately, especially for a hotel with a conference accomodation profile. In summary, nice complex for business or large group activities such as conferences, however not the most ideal place for a short break in winter or in the low season.
party of 6, 4 adults and 2 children of 3yrs and 8mnth. They loved the pool with the beach and the all you can eat buffet. The setting is just perfect.
The parking! difficult to park when hotel is full and charges are 2.50 euro per day for the outside and 10 euro per day for inside parking.
Beautiful environment and very nice surroundings. We enjoyed our stay.
No iron in room or on site. We could hear a lot of sound from the next door room, which disturbed our sleep on more than one occasion.
The rooms and the pools and surroundings.
The price in the shop was far too high. The cost of snacks and tea and coffee over priced.
The layout is unique, its like the village from the prisoner series from the sixties. Best breakfast in Spain, there is enough choice not to have to eat Spanish bacon and sausages or tasteless cheese.
Like the prisoner series, you are a captive guest unless you pay to get out. For a 5 star hotel, this is nickel and dime mentality. I would rather be issued a ticket at reception and pay once instead of having to get in and out of the car at the barrier to pay, especially irritating when it is raining. The excuse is that it is the site owners , not Melia, but an arrangement could be made.
