Staff were great with the kids 5 and 7 year old. Excellent entertainment for all ages. Food was excellent. Just a great place to relax
THE HOTEL WAS ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE STAYED IN
THE FOOD EVERY THING THAT WAS NOT COOKED WAS FINE BUT THINGS THAT HAD TO BE COOKED WAS NOT.ALSO THERE WAS A BIG T V BUT NO ENGLISH ON IT EVERY HOTEL GROUP IN THE WORLD HAS SO WHY NOT MELIA
the friendliness of some employees at the reception... not all. the pools, but a bit noisy. the good location at the two golf courses nearby; super nice caddy masters;
Sometimes long queues at reception. Sometimes a lot of noise at te pools because of the children or groups op golfers. Not Always friendly at the bar on the centre bar. the coffee machine at breakfast which didn't function properly
menu not in english
The room was great, the bed was probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in. We liked everything.
Nice hotel Nice room Nice man at the reception Nice pool
We where 2 nights there, it was beautiful but the price was to high. I am also workin in a hotel so to win more guest, to come another day again on have to give also sometimes special rates. Just to use an other pool and free drinks it is a very expensive upgrade. It is a very nice hotel but it is too expensive, it is like a 5* in switzerland. The reception were not nice maybe because we are young people. If we asked something they were rude and pissed of. We also asked for breakfast and they did not know until what time it is. We asked for restaurants and they didnt know what type of food they have and so on. In the level area we took some drinks and the people controled us every time it was annoying because we payed for this extras. 1 day before check-out we asked for a late check-out, maybat 14 oclock they told us to ask in the morning, we called the reception and they sad it is not possible we had to ask one day before. I was not happy with this because if i pay so much money i want to have a nice holiday. I think it was because we are young people and they dont have respect. I just wanted to have a nice holiday with my girlfriend to surprise her.
Pool areas were good. A wonderful weekend away while "Our folks" child minded !! Wish we could have stayed longer. Friendly staff. Nice room. Chocs left on pillow were a nice touch.
Breakfast was amazing with a huge choice. Free drinks and tapas at 7pm. Waiter service to the pool. This review is for the 5 star hotel
Resort was full of kids so I upgraded to the 5 star hotel which is child free. The 4 star hotel pool has thumping loud music so not great for chilling out. Wifi is weak everywhere. Only 1 English Channel on TV. Large 4 poster sun loungers where €33 extra to use so nobody used them which was a waste they should be free as they took up space.
Fantastic hotel at reasonable price
The rooms are lovely, but if when they say you have a view of the pool and all you really have a view of is a tree nothing else but a tree! As you can imagine We were not happy! The facilities for the kids are great. The place is lovely very picturess you have a lovely view of benidorm from above.
There were limited food places and only one bar for such a big hotel you would expect more. Also no drinks till breakfast had finished as there were not enough staff or furniture. Lots of furniture moving everyday. Some of the staff were really nice some where not that pleasant. We did ask for a double bed (we even called before to make sure also about the views!) we arrived and we had two singles, we asked to change rooms they said they were full but they would make the bed into a French bed, 48 hours later they did this after another complaint from my partner! They did try to upgrade when we complained again but no rooms available.
The food was not very good
The swimming pool are at night is astonishing...
Everything you need on holiday to relax also activities around the pool and for the kids too great time had by all we go most years!!
The pools were lovely Breakfast and dinner were great Good holiday atmosphere Magic show was fun Really lovely looking hotel if you dont look at the cracks and the bits of missing plaster. Great fake beach
Were shown to our Family suite and outside the door was a pile of discarded baby equipment thrown out onto the pathway. The air con was noisy and the room smelt terrible. The room was filthy. We arrived an hour after check in time so there was no excuse. Tried to phone reception but no answer. Had to walk miles in 36C to try to find reception. They agreed to move us so we had to go back for our bags and then were told to change for the pool in toilet, which was filthy. The second room was quiet at least, the windows were filthy and the patio doors didnt lock. Which wouldnt have been an issue but we were on the ground floor this time so worried about someone getting in and stealing laptop, ipads etc. The whole hotel is showing its age and need for maintenance. I was very disappointed and I wouldnt return here in a hurry. Expensive and not value for money
Booked hotel for our anniversary. Upgraded to The Level. Staff at reception were so helpful. The room was marvellous, we were treated really first class. Nothing was too much trouble. The Spa was a great experience, the receptionist was so helpful. Had dinner in the Indigo restaurant, again, the waiters etc were excellent. Cant praise the staff and Hotel enough. Made our Anniversary memorable, will DEFINITELY be coming bk. A big thankyou to everyone.
Nothing not to like...
The pool is great and the surroundings!
The wifi connection was not very good!
Loved the location of the hotel ideal for relaxation break.
Didn't like that we asked for a double bed and got two singles. the food in the restaurant wasn't very good poor selection and cold.
I liked the whole concept of the hotel in a village type setting ... the buildings and pools were amazing ... the staff were efficient and friendly ... views were spectacular ... good value for money ... rooms were beautifully furnished ... large and airy ... with access to gardens ... wonderful!!!!!!!!
I found the breakfast not to my liking ... would have preferred a more healthy choice of cereal and wholemeal bread for toasting ... also it was difficult to obtain decaffeinated coffee!!!!
The Spa thermal circuit was good and so was the quality of food at the restaurants. The accommodation was excellent, large room and sitting area and lovely views over the garden.
However the staff at the restaurant rushed us and took plates away almost as soon as we finished and brought the next course. Also when we arrived at the parking area we were told to walk to the hotel, in heat and dragging a suitcase not good, then we discovered that they should have offered to take us in the golf buggy.
The complex is really nice, the pools are lovely, very relaxing place to stay, and only 10 euros in a taxi if you want any night life in Benidorm (which we didnt)
There isnt enough staff all around the hotel; We sat around the beach area, there was rubbish around all day (no bins, or I would have cleared it myself). The barbeque were unable to seat people quickly as the tables were not cleared, the same in the buffet area. It took ages to get a drink at the pool bar, as only 2 staff serving, both the restaurant area, and the poolside. I have to say the staff that are there are really pleasant, and try their best.
1 hour to check in. Queses for breakfast. No sunbeds, all taken. No orange juice for breakfast on 2nd day. Nissan banners everywhere. Car parking a long way from hotel. This hotel was far superior before it was taken over by Melia. You are paying premium prices for an inferior offering.
The pool area and the food were excellent the staff are more than helpful too
The smell in the rooms on the 7th floor was horrendous , I was only there for 5 nights and had to be moved to 5 different rooms , I was then presented with a bill for silly little things at the end of my stay which was disappointing considering how much I had been inconvenienced during my stay
I love the location and the golf courses
You have to buy more Club cars. And it is unbeliveble you can not drink a beer on the golf course. If you like to see how good service look like, go to Phena Longa, Lisabon. I would like to pay 20% if you would have that service.
The place is looks fantastic
Balcony overlooked the bins and delivery bay. So woken early every morning to the sound of vans and trucks delivering and the bins being emptied. Booked a double room ended up with 2 single beds. No toilet seat from Saturday we arrived until 7pm on Friday before we left Saturday. Sent laundry for washing took 3 days not 24 hours. And got charged £26 for 3 items. Wifi was virtually non-existent. And when trying to sort things out all you got was we don't understand. For a 4 star hotel / resort I wasn't that impressed
