I did not like the fact that it did not live up to the 5 Star Rating and it is definitely over priced.

An elegant hotel in a great location in central Madrid. Attentive but not intrusive.

I liked everything about the hotel and room.

This hotel excels in its staff, I complimented the manager while I was there. Everyone without exception goes out of their way to be friendly, welcomng and helpful. The hotels location is great. Central but quiet. On site parking is a huge bonus as is the fact that they allow pets. I have returned to this hotel four times now so I suppose that says a lot.

No free wifi.. I had travelled through France and Spain and every other hotel had it and some were only three star. This is a big minus that should be corrected,pronto! Other than that nothing save as to say the gym in the Urban Hotel which you can use is a joke, a waste of time so dont book the hotel on the basis of that facility.

Villa Real is in an excellent location to explore the galleries of Madrid. The staff are welcoming and very helpful.

An excellent location for guests wanting to visit the museums in Madrid city centre. Hotel services all worked well, with a quick response when the tv remote failed to work. Provided a free bottle of wine as a birthday present, a nice touch.

My main complaint is the " Special Offer" of tv films/music and room Internet connection all packaged at a daily charge of €30.30! These days almost all hotel guests use their personal laptop free in hotel rooms. It is essential for business travellers. A daily rate of €30.30 is wildly inappropriate. You can queue at the one pc in the lobby for free access. Finally the coffee, at an otherwise excellent breakfast, was horrible. Stewed in a pot and lacking flavour. A 5+ hotel in Spain should be offering freshly ground coffee.

The location is great next to city tour bus station. The staff are very friendly. I have a great time at Villa Real but only one thing there is no wifi available. The guy said you have to pay :( however there is a computer in lobby you can use Internet. Anyway great hotel... Garcia!!

This place is a real find and it takes pets! Nothing to dislike and they have the nicest doorman in the world.... Indeed all the staff were just so lovely and welcoming... Also it has its own parking which is a God send in a city like Madrid. Location could not be better quiet but in the centre of everything ... just wonderful... Loved it.

Nothing at all.... Well one small quibble.. Guests have use of 'fitness' facilities in the nearby Urban Hotel... But they are a joke a tiny room... Just could not work out there,...

General convenience for city sightseeing and eating out but in a reasonably quiet area with no late night disturbances. Staff were generally very friendly and helpful.

The food was very expensive at all times of the day. Also internet access had to be bought in 24hr chunks and expensive, too much if you only wanted to book-in for your flight home.

It was very central.

There was a lot of construction going on in the hotel and it smelled like paint and there was noise early in the morning.
