“ I would recommend the Villa Soro to anyone . It may be a 4 star Hotel but it has 5 star service. It's perfectly located just 5 minutes walk from gros beach and 10/15 minutes walk across the river to the oldtown. ”

Villa Soro occupies 2 classical buildings, one of which was built in 1898 and is a Historical Heritage Building of San Sebastian. Free Wi-Fi is available. All rooms offer free non-alcoholic drinks in the minibar and a DVD player. They each have a separate shower and bath. Rooms have luxury individual design, some including artwork from Jorge Oteiza. Room service is available, offering local dishes. There is free private parking on site. Villa Soro is surrounded by trees and stately homes. The hotel has a gym and offers free bicycles and beach towels. There are spacious lounges and a fireplace. The staff were friendly & helpful. Excellent facilities. Lovely ambience. Enjoyed the terrace from our room. Good variety for breakfast. could not really find anything to fault

Gorgeous estate-like setting, close to beachside. Superb staff, all speaking adequate English, making all efforts to be helpful. Great breakfast on-site. Easy parking. Expensive

The room was nice, but nothing special. Staff was friendly. The bed was extremely soft and caused me a lot of discomfort. Wifi was suppose to be available in all rooms, but I was unable to receive a signal in my room and sometimes even the hotel lobby. The staff was friendly, but not exactly the most knowledgeable.

Staff was great. Comfortable bed and adequate breakfast. Our room was in the new addition of the hotel #105. It looked very bare and un inviting opposite from the main building and did not match the ambience of the villa. In the room we felt we were in a budget hotel but paid for luxury. We spend 3 nights at the hotel and a 25 min walk to the center was getting a bit old after a while...

I like almost everything of this hotel, the staffs r very friendly, although most Spanish dont speak good English, and very limited too, but they can speak quite well, helpful, friendly, very impressive building, interior and the rooms r very satisfactory, if there is a coffee making and hot water kettle in the room, that will be superb. Nothing that I can think of.

we prefer boutique hotels like Villa Soro, because we like the arquitecture, the more friendlier and relax ambiance, than in bigger hotels, also the details, such as bringing a delicious pastry, as night treat, the offer of extra towels, etc. breakfast with fresh juice, simple and nice. charming people, charming place. that we didn't stay longer! for my husband's job we had to move earlier than expected.! we will come back!

Villa Soro is a little gem. A beautiful luxury small hotel where you are made to feel very special. Breakfast is amazing, the nicest eggs I have ever had. Villa Soro is a 5/10 minute walk to the beach. I will not stay anywhere else in San Sebastian it really is special.

classy at affordable price, very comfortable, we did not get the feeling they tried to make money on everything. Free water in mini bar, beautiful fresh orange juice for breakfast which was excellent and included in the deal , turning down of beds at night good toiletries it was like staying in a private grand house interesting deco too , we loved it. the weather was terrible sadly

Everything! The hotel was warm and welcoming and the staff were very friendly. The room was comfortable and warm. Breakfast was served by a lovely lady who went out her way to look after us and our young daughter. It was a nice walk down into the town and we took a taxi back later in the evening. I absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone. Nothing!

From the moment you arrive you feel welcome, and are cosseted throughout your stay in this wonderful old (but extremely well appointed) building. Nothing at all.

Luxurious surroundings, excellent staff and service, nothing was too much trouble. Gorgeous bedroom and bathroom, lovely bed linen. We would definitely stay here again I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about the Villa Soro
