Villa Soro  

This is a really charming hotel with lots of touching details all around. The staff and service were exceptional from the moment we checked in. Our room was ready, though we had arrived quite early from Madrid. We had assistance at every step: transfer, restaurant reservations – they booked a dinner for us at Martin Berasategui restaurant (3 Michelin stars), which was fantastic! We stayed at # 13, the one with a huge balcony you can see in the pictures of the hotel, and enjoyed it so much. I guess it’s the best one. The bathroom was large and lovely, a delicious breakfast was included and took place in a lovely terrace. The hotel is only 10 minute leisure walk from the city center and the most famous pintxos bars (we got a list of them on the reception). Thanks a lot! We would definitely stay at the Villa Soro again and highly recommend it to other travellers.

Beautiful. tranquil rooms, excellent staff, lovely main house

This is a beautiful hotel. We loved everything about villa Soro. Our room was in the building behind on the ground floor with a beautiful patio in front, really spacious and comfortable.

Nicely refurbished and annexed villa on a beautiful park-like lot. Impeccable service. About 10 min to walk to the beach and 20 min to the old town. Free parking. Highly recommended!

The deluxe rooms were superb

It was too warm in the rooms and we had difficulty sleeping as the airconditioning was turned to heating

Hotels do not come much better than this! The staff are excellent.

Discreet and well maintained, very efficient and friendly

It's expensive but you do get what youpay for. It would be more acceptable if breakfast was included.

This is the most stunning hotel I have ever stayed in and worth every single penny. The staff are extraordinarily helpful and attentive. The attention to detail and the service of the cleaning staff and room service is simply wonderful. We are hoping to return again for a family event next year.

Relaxing environment, friendly staff and quality furnishings

Didnt like being in a basement room. We like a view so this let us down. I feel the room was over priced, for a room with no view, outside of a capital city I would not have expected to pay over 150 euro.

Very helpful staff, free bicycles for use around town, quiet location but close to old town and beaches (respectively 10 mins, 5 mins by bicycle), staff gave good tips for restaurants.

Only drawback was no availability of lunches or dinners in the hotel.

Rooms were well designed and large but located in the basement or underground. No restaurant but pretty good breakfast. Friendly staff. A bit far away from the beach and center but located in the prestigious district.

The hotel was gorgeous, the staff was wonderful. 10 min walk to the beach, excellent location.

Excellent eqipment and furnishings, peaceful surroundings, but central location.
