Villa de Bubion  

Alting, fremragende beliggenhed, imødekommende personale, dejlig lejlighed med (lidt) udsigt til fantastisk natur. Vi fik morgenmad 1 1/2 time før restauranten åbnede, fordi vi skulle nå en bus kl. 7.00. Det er service.

These are excellent villas with bathroom,bedroom,lounge &patio.Superb views.Excellent breakfast,wide selection to choose from and all fresh.We ate at El Tiede which is to the left of the entrance on the main road.Wide selection,excellent food,good service & friendly staff.We will go back.

The hotel was very modern and clean with very professional friendly reception staff. The individual villa has a lounge, bedroom and bathroom. the facilities are truly excellent and very good value for money. The breakfast was excellent with lots of fresh fruit.

Relaxed atmosphere, the idea of an apartment rather than a room, views

clean, spatious rooms (more of a one bedroom flat in a condominium of small casitas), quiet, swimming pool, perfect location, car parking available at the hotel, helpful staff, decent restaurant and actually fairly good breakfast.

potential problem for people with mobility problems- our room had living room downstairs and bedroom and bathroom up a fairly steep stairscase - not an issue with the likely clientele of this hotel (hikers), yet could potential catch out the unwary people who find climbing stairs a bit difficult; there is a safety box in the room, however it didnt work because it needed new batteries - when we told the staff, they appeared somewhat disinclined to do anything about it, hence we had to leave our valuable at the reception. equally the car park could be utilized more efficiently if they drew few lines to mark individual parking spaces.

Excellent location for Sierra Nevada, car parking available. Good breakfasts. Very clean rooms, good bathroom. All staff very friendly and helpful.

Limited dinner menu. The ambiance music tapes. It would have been nice to have Spainsh music or classical music, not the same old pop songs repeated endlessly. Compared to some of the other local hotels which are more established it lacked charactor.

No kettle. Food not veggie/vegan friendly. Three bars/eating places/cafes in the village - don't talk about the onion soup in one of them - disgusting! Hotel and surrounding area not suitable for veggie/vegans. My expectations of the area was too high and I was disappointed. I felt closed in, when I imagined open spaces and pretty walks thought the National Park, not loads of concret paths and steps, and the view from the hotel room was billed as wonderful, when I thought it was barren and unspectacular.

Villa Bubion has a great location. The villa we stayed in was exceptionally clean. The bathroom was beautiful with high spec fittings. Breakfast in the dining room was a very pleasant experience. We didn't have our evening meal there as we had read a negative review, however we did peruse the menu and it seemed well priced. Although we had a negative experience with the pool (see below) we will return and will recommend the accomodation to others!! Do not be put off as the posives more than out weigh the negatives!!

The swimming pool area was clean and tidy, however there were only a few sun lounges of basic white plastic - this was a let down compared with the quality of the Villa overall. The most disappointing aspect was the pool itself. It was absolutely filthfy with a lot of dust and debris in the corners, on the bottom and a little up the side. We reported this at reception and a member of the reception team came out within 5 minutes. He turned the skimmers on, but what it needed was a deep clean with a 'vacuum '. The morning after we checked it and all the debris had settled again. We would not have gone in the pool in the this condition. We own two swimming pools ourselves so these are informed and educated observations!!

Calm,comfort,situation,value for money.

The appartment with the 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and kitchen/lounge were ideal as we were travelling with friends. The location in Bubion allowed us to visit other villages by car and the scenery was all that we could have expected of La Alpujarra area.

Good base for visiting a part of the Sierra Nevada and to do walkings. Well located, within walking distance of the city (bars-restaurants) and yet completely in the nature of the sierra. Comfortable rooms and bathroom.

Little atmosphere, you feel that this is a hotelcomplex and not a familybusiness. It was early in the season, (half May) and the garden was completely neglected.

Prachtige ligging, uitstekende service, geweldig ontbijt, prima eten tegen aantrekkelijke prijs, ruim appartement, heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

El horario de Restaurante está adaptado a un público extranjero, desayuno hasta las 10.00 y el restaurante para cenar cierra también a las 22.00. Recomendaría un pequeño Office en la habitación donde poder hacer un café o té.

Muy bien ubicado, comodo, limpio. Ideal para descansar. Muy bien el desayuno.

Meget hyggelig personale, og vi følte oss godt ivaretatt! Damen i resepsjonen snakket dessuten godt engelsk og hun foreslo tur og spisested for oss. Vi fikk også en større leilighet enn hva vi hadde betalt for. Leiligheten hadde en liten balkong der vi kunne sitte og kose oss og se utover naturen. Snøfjellene i bakgrunnen gav oss dessuten en "hjemmelig" følelse! Hotellet besto av flere små, hvite hus som lå sammen som en liten landsby.Veldig koselig! Nydelig frokost med bl.a. ferskt brød, frukt, og godt utvalg av pålegg.

Hvis det skal være noe å pirke på, må det være at for en av oss ble puten for høy, siden madrassen var i mykeste laget. Fikk helt knekk på nakken! Etter at leiligheten var stelt om morgenen, var det en forferdelig sterk parfymeliknende lukt i alle rom. Selv med iherdig lufting, fikk vi den ikke bort innen vi la oss om kvelden. Heldigvis er ingen av oss er allergiske mot parfyme, men det var faktisk ubehagelig! Vi kunne dessuten ha ønsket oss et lite bord på verandaen og et mini-kjøleskap til f.eks. kalde drikker i leiligheten. Men alt i alt er vel dette bagateller, og vi likte oss meget godt!

Excellente accueil du personnel, toujours disponible. Cadre superbe, pour les amoureux de la nature et du calme, ainsi que les randonneurs. Logement avec salon très agréable, avec balcon donnant sur les montagnes. Petit déjeuner copieux.

Très bel hôtel, très propre et dans un très beau petit village de montagne. Le top de notre circuit ! Nous avions 2 appartements de 4 personnes, joliment décorés avec chacun 2 chambres très spacieuses et un salon. Très bon accueil. Très bon petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet. Hotel que nous recommandons. Très bon rapport qualité/prix.

La qualité des prestations aussi bien en confort des chambres , qu'en accueil et en propreté de l'établissement. Un petit déjeuner et un diner excellents pour complèter.

La distribucion de las villas, los paisajes, el sitio, nos ha gustado todo mucho. El recepcionista fue muy agradable y atento. Ei menu muy bueno. Han sido tres dias estupendos.
