Breakfast was not included in the price
Very central. Clean comfortable quiet .lovely bar and balcony area.
Clean, great location
Room is quite small, but bathroom is good
We enjoyed the location.
The cleanliness of the room was poor...
room was too small. breakfast was just not upto the standard of a four star hotel.
Location Nice Staff Nice Views to Gran Via
- Small room for good Price and good views to Gran Via - No free Wi Fi - No breakfast
The breakfast fare is always good.
The front desk lady named Estefania is rude to her guests. Her behavior is not fitting for a role which requires her to interact with guests. The two other officers are very good in their jobs. It's only ms Estefania who should not be in that kind of role. Maybe she should be assigned in the administration office. I would come back to this hotel if they hire more customer-oriented employees.
Very nice design hotel, excellent staff and great location;
not a complain, but the rooms started to show signs of ageing (we stayed at the hotel in the past).
Hotel location is very strategic close to shopping and many restaurants china, japan, europe Shop around the hotel, which is the largest and El Corte Ingles complete (buy souvenirs in the store is more complete and cheaper price)
If you want to buy handbags made in Madrid (Loewe) and other European-made area to another should take a train or Taxi.
Dont forget to go to floor 9th for the views, expectacular.
Location, location, location
Receptionist will need to prioritize, given the fact that she allowed a call for a spa treatment to continue while customers were at her desk waiting..
stuff don't like.
the place is the best,
the TV is not good enough and the space is a little shalow
There was no free spa access
Well located down town, near to shopping and restaurants etc,
Parking is absolutely rubbish. Given that people are foreign travellers and unsure of the city, hotel should have valet parking service !!
The only thing that is 4 star about this hotel is the location, right in the center of Madrid. The Callao Metro station is right across the street and the Sol Metro station is a few hundred meters away. You also have a supermarket in the El Corte Ingles shop very close by. Most sights are walking distance or a few metro stations away. Also the view from the upper floors is spectacular.
We booked a double room with city view and got a corner room on the 11th floor. This meant you had to take the elevator to the 9th floor and then change to a second elevator where it was a real challenge to fit two very slim people with two medium size suitcases. The room was small for two people with no space to put your things. There are only two minuscule drawers inside the wardrobe (about the size of a A4/Letter sheet of paper), which is also quite small and with insufficient hangers for two people. The "sitting area" is composed of a small (~75 cm diameter) round table with a sort of synthetic leather surface (it also doubles as a garbage can support - the cleaning lady repeatedly placed the can on the crossed legs under the table, which seemed unhygienic since there was a space of about 10 cm from the rim of the trash can to the table surface) and a single armchair. There is one suitcase support and some space to place the other suitcase on the floor by the window (which you will be doing since you will be living out of your suitcase). The extremely small bedside tables (about 25 x 35 cm) have two metal encased boxes placed underneath, that can be used as tables or chairs (they are quite heavy and are great bruise generators). In the end we used the window sill to place some of our things. The walls are dirty with signs that others have also struggled with their luggage. The TV is slightly larger than a laptop screen and also placed somewhat out of view for two people sitting in bed. In the bathroom the space is badly used, with a lot of room around the toilet but very little room around the sink. The towels were crumpled and torn. They looked like rags. The lighting is very poor and the control system old and unclear. If you want to turn on the lights in the bathroom, you will also turn on the bedside lights, for example.
the bed needs to change . The TV is very small even my Labtop screen is larger than the tv . very few chanels to watch .
The roof-top terrace was brilliant!!!
