During our stay it seemed as if the hotel was being run on the minimum number of staff, who were working all out to meet demands. However, this meant that bar/dining room tables were frequently left uncleared and required wiping down. The breakfast and salad provision was very good, but most four star hotels at dinner provide a counter with chef(s) serving freshly cooked meats, fish etc. and not containers of food which were frequently not hot enough. Although our upgrade gave us extra storage space, why is it that Spanish hotels give only four small drawers inside the wardrobe yet under the desk top leave space which could accommodate drawers. Apart from repetitive news programmes, there is a lack of English TV despite the hotel catering for British clients.
We were given an upgrade to a family room which provided extra storage for clothes and golf clubs as well as sea view and balcony. The hotel staff at every level were efficient and helpful; working extremely hard to meet guests' requirements. Although the pool area is not large, it is attractive, clean and provides lots of longers.
If you play golf, this hotel is coveniently situated for easy access to nearby courses as well as a ten minute ride from the airport. There are several restaurants nearby and small shops and a supermarket which cater for essentials and public transport enables transfer to livlier resorts.
