Great location; attention to details
If you want to rest the noise at the street at night may be challenging.
A very modern hotel, located in The heart of The back streets of Madrid city centre. A 10 minute walk the the centre and sol metro! Not hard to get to from the airport, 5 min walk from Aston Martin Metro. Lots of fantastic restaurants and bars in the steets surrounding, especially the restaurant facing hotel. Our room was very large but very dark as it had a small window in to a small court yard, this was fine as we were out all day. The bathroom is very modern and clean, nice bath. Huge bed, tv (although limited channels) the wifi is free and very good we were able to stream Netflix. We didn't have breakfast or dinner although the dining room looks very modern and nice. A good lounge area downstairs but needs a bar or some where to get refreshments in the hotel.
Lack of bar. Although clean and modern design, bathroom could do with a bit of a fix up, lack of view. But it wasn't an issue as it is winter and we didn't spend the day in the room.
hospitality of the staff cleaning location
noisy entering from street
The hotel is well located between the main art galleries and the town centre, in a lively enough area. Has its own private underground garage with a lift to the hotel. Is quite clean and rather artistic in its styling.
Driving to the hotel through Madrid's complex tunnels and one-way system gave our sat. nav. a real headache. Although the hotel seemed relatively empty, the staff gave us a room on the 2nd floor up a very awkward set of steps, which gave us a real hassle with out luggage. The room itself was small and poorly laid out, and suffered from a general problem of 'style over function'. It had many silly 'arty' features, notably the daft hanging bathroom lamp, which was even cracked. The tap pressure is enormous, so that water got fired all over the bathroom. The safe is too small for laptops, we had no loo brush and there appeared to be no instructions on how to make an outside call.
The staff were excellent, the location is very convenient.
I booked 2 double rooms at the same price for 2 couples for 2 nights - we were given a very dark & pokey little room, with a small & awkward bathroom. The morning we checked out we saw our friends' had been given a large room with 2 chairs, tables & 2 washbasins in a spacious bathroom. Had we known we'd have requested the same. The bed was a 4' 6" double, not a 5', and it was on wobbly legs & creaked. The hot water failed on our first morning - no showers possible. The whole hotel was rather "designer dark", with very annoying huge room numbers split half on the wall & half on the door making it quite difficult to read. There's an Ibis almost opposite - it's cheaper & they always have large comfy beds & good showers - if you're not bothered about "designer" looks I'd stay there next time.
Lovely hotel. However, The hotel bills themselves as, "We speak your language" I found communication in English very difficult at the front desk. Also , In the restaurant, I found myself using Google translate to determine the dining options. This was after the concierge was of no assistance.
some staff has not been trained to be polite enough Showers need replacement.
friendly staff, good breakfast
no writing table / desk in the room
Perfect location, clean with kind staff The wi fi was absolutely perfect also in the rooms You can easily walk to the museums and Retiro. Only a few blocks from Soll and Sevillia Subway Grand Via is also a few minutes walk. Many restaurants and bars around the hotel . We loved Santa Anna square for breakfast ! We definitely recommend Vincci Soho Hotel !
Mattress on the single beds a bit hard . Ok on the double beds.
- location - the room
- the staff - it is for the first time when I stayed in a 4 stars hotel with the occasion of the New Year Eve and the guests of the hotel do not receive at least a message from the Management with wishes for the New Year (normal the similar hotels offer champagne, sweets or small gifts)
It's the fourth time we come back to this hotel. The location is priceless and the staff is excellent. We went on winter and there was a problem in the heating in our first room. No problem at all: we were changed imediately. Clean and quiet room.
I will always keep on missing extra AC power sockets to charge mobile phones or tablets... not a big deal.
-staff are so nice and most importantly they speak English - location is great 5 min walk from Mueso del Prado and Botanical Gardens -internet connection is great anywhere you go - comfortable bed, nice rooms lay out very modern
very good place, the superior rooms are really comfortable and modern just as the bed is, but it's a little bit too dark in the bathroom. The personal is nice except on the desk. I didnt feel very welcome!
the personal is nice but pay attention, they may give you first the wrong room!
location trendy hotel
lack of warm water in the bathroom dark rooms
In the city centre and few mins far from all the main actractions and historical buildings.
No plugs for mobile or pc in the room. The only one available was in the bathroom. I found toilet not clean and room with dust.
Location Quality of the breakfast
the room was very small , when i asked for a normal one they charge me extra money
Cool location, Great artistic flair. I found the rooms comfortable and all the amenities were attended to. In the end, I've found this property a great refuge in a super cool city.
Small, dimly lit room with no desk. Kinda noisy. Strange and strong air freshening/aromatherapy going on!?!?!?
the breakfast is good but payable , the location is near nice restaurants
We did not had WiFi in the room, the room was very dark, no caffee maker in the room, we ask a room with2 beds we received a room with one bed, we ask a room on higher floor but we received a room on the 1st floor. Also it is very noisy in the night from the street
When you turn off the lights you turn of the electricity in the wall at the same time, i.e. your mobile phone doesn't charge!! There was no duvet, just a blanket, and I certainly expected more from a hotel of this caliber.
Dark room Run down bathroom Cigarrete smell
The location. Value for money.
Room was a bit too dark to our liking. The buffet breakfast was too expensive.
Location. Helpful staff.
Aircoditioning set at 20 degrees but room was much hotter. Shower runs hot and cold.
Location was perfect and central.
Noisy rooms - Wooden floor boards meant we could hear people walking around in other rooms. Doors to rooms really slam hard and loudly. Both of these factors meant we didnt sleep well. Our room was cleaned daily, however to different standards. One day bed appeared made, but the covers had simply been pulled up and the sheet was still pulled out! There is no business centre or internet computer and printer to use. Hotel recommended an internet cafe nearby, which was not open! There are many "quiet areas" in the hotel which could be used for a computer or small business centre.
location service room
BREAKFAST was too expensive
