A great place to stay. Really nice two-storey apartments with balconies looking out over a terrific garden, pool and bar area. Events in the evening so great place to meet other guests. Very nice breakfast as well in restaurant next door. Owner is a wonderful host.

A little far from the beach and main part of the resort but taxi rank is just down the road and costs 3 - 4 euros. Always taxis waiting.

The peace after a night of partying. The hard working staff who want you to have a good holiday. No issue is a problem for the team.

It was very relaxing, very pleasant and warm host, it was clean, loved the location as it gave you a feeling of being in a community once you came onto the street. The hot jacuzzi was just absolutely lovely especially late in the evenings. Unlike other apartments, it had two floors with a toilet downstairs and a toilet shower upstairs, that was definitely a bonus as you could entertain downstairs get to know the person prior to moving upstairs if you wanted to (ps: i was a solo traveller ..lol)

I would not hesitate to recommend Vista Bonita to other Gay and Lesbian travellers. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the pool area is clean and gets the sun all day, the jacuzzi is warm, and for nightlife, the yumbo is only 5 euro away.

The staff were very friendly & helpful. Vista Bonita has a very relaxed atmosphere & the duplex apartments are well equipped & cosy. Altogether a very enjoyable stay and I would defiantly go back there.

I guess the only small problem was location. A taxi or car is required to get to the Maspalomas dunes or Playa del Ingles.

A wonderful place. Quiet at night. A 5 minutes taxi drive from the yumbo. Gorge was a good host and made sure that everyone was enjoying there stay.

The hotel was well situated and had a nice pool and jacquzzi area. It was clean and well kept. The garden gave a welcome relief to all the concrete. It was arranged in a way that lent itself to socialising with other residents if you wanted it. The apartments were reasonably furnished and functional. The kitchen had a hob and large fridge.

It would be nice for the owner to enhance his meet and greet skills. The towels smelt as though they had been left in the washer too long. The kitchen was sparsely equipped.

The place have an ongoing renovation and new decoration which is very nice.

I found Vista Bonita to be very cosy, friendly and accommodating. The hotel wasn't overlooked so privacy was great and as we were high up on the mountain side out views were amazing. A quiet, relaxing, hotel in a fantastic location was just what I wanted and received. Everything from a Spar to buy essentials, bars and restaurants to the sandy dunes were just on my doorstep. I loved the upstairs downstairs apartment i felt very at home there and found it met all my needs. The hotel isn't too big so I became friends with not only all of the staff but also the guests. I would definitely recommend Vista Bonita and would love to go back.

There were no unpleasant experiences durin my stay, the only critique would be I would have liked my room serviced daily instead of every other day. As there was a lot of sand in the air which got everywhere, however I was impressed by their recycling policy and solor efficiency! (Very Eco friendly) Something so minor really that I would still go back again each year!!!

Clean well maintained duplex apartments with balcony and patio.

New owners recently taken over and were decorating including bar area which was closed. Pool freezing and impossible to use.

A friendly, warm and fun family-run business - thanks Nico, Nico Jr.,Candido and Chris :) They provided a relaxing retreat away from the congested, tourist hoo-haa in Playa del Inglés - with only a 4 Euro taxi- ride fare into it. The duplex apartments are roomy, clean, comfortable and practical - the patio and garden are perfect for when we didn't fancy a trip to the beach :) The sister restaurant next door is also a treat, with equally friendly & helpful staff. The other guests were all really friendly, non-manic people too - I figured this was due to it being away from hard-core revellers, who stay in Playa del Inglés. Also being 1-beds, there were no families and loud groups. The mountain hillside location also gave a clean and refreshing feel and provided the perfect scenery for my morning runs down to the beach and through the park! I would definitely stay here when I re-visit - both for the accommodation and the lovely people!!!

One of the reasons I chose to stay there was the premise that Wi-Fi would be available throughout the complex - it isn'T. I was in apartment 19, furthest away form the pool/jaccuzi, and found that the signal doesn't stretch there (both the pool & the jaccuzi Wi-Fi routers). After reporting it, a technician was called & advised me and one of the family that he could get a signal just outside the apartment but not inside, which was oddly accepted. This was frustrating as I couldn't do the online research work I had planned inside on my laptop, out of the sun and in the evenings, also to use my smartphone in the evenings to make calls. Guys you should either add another router at the end of the complex or change the hotel's wording - the worst thing is to expect a service that isn't intended to available :( Other than this, I have no other negatives - great accommodation, the best people to stay with!!!

Very friendly atmosphere, nice and well furnished apartments, friendly and helpful staff. If we will go back again to Gran Canaria, we will go again there. I definitely suggest Vista Bonita.

The position is not central, but if you have a car it is perfect, 5 min from yumbo center.

Vista Bonita is just perfect, a duplex with kichenette, living and toilet on the ground floor and a bathroom and bedroom on the 1st floor. Very clean, friendly owners, quiet to sleep. You need a car or taxi to go to the beach or center and might be difficult to park your car. Otherwise, just perfect. I'll be back!

Excellent personal attention and interest from the owner and her employees. Good access to local shopping and restaurant facilities. Very nice pool and jacuzzi facilities.

Not everyone is interested in television while on holday, but for me an english or french language channel would have been of interest. I didnt find any.

the owner and her adult kids were great. Quiet place with clean rooms. great big swimmingpool and nice jacuzzi. Lots of time to read a book, enjoy the pool. But also easy if you wish to socialize with the other quests.

Have just arrived back from a week's stay at the Vista Bonita Apartments, which was well worth the visit. Staff were very friendly and helpful, always intentive to answer any questions we had and advise us on good restuarants and the places that are worth a visit. It's nice to have a gay/lesbian speciality hotel, everyone was always friendly, was very relaxing as not main stream busy so you practically had the pool to yourselves, with your apartment going straight out to the pool and bar. The apartments are on two levels, it has a small kitchen area with a fridge, cooking stove, which is always handy then upstairs to the bedroom with a huge bed and bathroom. The whole place was very clean and well worth a stay, made us feel very comfortable and relaxed, which for us is one of the important parts regarding a holiday so having it quiet and adults only is a big bonus. The only thing I would advise, because you are far out from most things it's well worth hiring a car, otherwise there are always taxi's going down the road which we found very easy and practical. Also there is a supermarket right next to the hotel, which is very handy. Other then that the apartments were great and we would definitly recommend. Distance to main El Faro of Maspalomas but did not affect the reputation, gay friendlyness and relaxtion of the hotel itself. Plenty of taxi's to catch going along the road.

the family that run the resort was absolutely first class and totally recommend to book up straight away as they are so helpful, apartments so clean and very relaxing will be booking up there again

I stayed at Vista Bonita from Aug 18 to 26. As a very frequent traveller (both for work and holiday), I have always stayed at 4* or 5* as I do like comfort, being pampered, and cooked for... In this occasion, I decided to leave aside my usual habits and give it a go to a gay oriented appartment resort. Open for adventure, which means, cooking for myself... In my opinion, 3 things define the quality of every place you stay at, whether it be a hotel, appartment resort, or eventually the retirement home...  These are, the Establishment, the Staff, and the Guests. The Resort, 20 adorable duplex appartements, perfect for two. All have a private terrace with sunchair, a table and 2 chairs. Ideal for chilling after a day at the beach and/or dining outside. The arquitecture is such that you enjoy of privacy in your terrace, as well as the balcony upstairs (which Guests use to dry the beach towels and swimsuits).  Bungalows 1 to 12 have a view over pool and jacuzzi, bungalows 14 to 20 have garden view. Number 13 were i was staying has both views. Me lucky indeed. The appartments are VERY clean. Downstairs a toilet, the kitchen and living room with TV and ceiling fan. Upstairs a full toilet/bathroom and the bedroom. There is no ceiling fan in the bedroom, which can make summer nights a bit unconfortable if there is a heat wave. But just open the windows and voilà... litterally one minute walk from the resort, there is a small supermarket of the german Spar Group, but no worries, they sell other things than frankfurters... There you can get the grocery basics for your stay. Next to it is a restaurant in case you are lazy and don't want to cook. They even can deliver your breakfast/lunch/diner at your appartment! The location is perfect for those who are looking for silence and relaxation. It is not a heavy cruising place, which is good, but there can be eye contact, smiles and  and overall "seduction". For pure cruising the tacky and raunchy Los Almedros exists.

The location, a bit far from Playa del Inglés (night life and sins) and a bit far from the beach (where sinners get tanned the day after for our enjoyment). However, if like me you like walking, it is ideal! Playa del Ingles is about 30 minutes walk (sober), 2 hours if tipsy. Nothing a short and inexpensive taxi ride can't solve! Bedsheets were not changed at all during my stay, and the sheets do not cover the whole mattress. Towels were regularly changed, though. There is no ceiling fan in the bedroom, which would be Really necessary.

The complex is set in the quiet of Sonneland and the accomodation is very clean and maintained to a very high standard. This complex would suit if you are after somewhere which is quiet and relaxed and not on top of the usual commercial centres. The pool, jacuzzi and pool bar are great and there is a restaurant and spa store at front of the complex. The food from the restaurant was superb and great value for money, which is why it is always busy. A great place to stay and only 4e to the commercial centres or beach by taxi. Bus route if you prefer public transport.

The accomodation is great, would not say didn't like just some suggestions. Provide a ceiling fan in the bedrooms and sunbeds could do with a pad to make more comfortable.

When I looked at the reviews here I said people must be exaggerating with all the highly positive opinions. Now that I have stayed at the hotel, I can confirm: the staff are really helpful, friendly and nice. Most importantly for me: it was really clean and comfortable.

The location: it is far from most things you want to visit on a daily basis.

It was my first time at Vista Bonita. I arrived a stranger and left a friend. The owner and management team are really special. I was made to feel welcome and everything I could need from a holiday was catered for! Its a real gem of a place and I would recommend it to anyone. The attention to detail was perfect. The whole place was so clean and comfortable! Well done you! A huge thank you! I've booked to return in October with friends. It's a must people!
