Everything! The 'hotel' room turned out to be a private bedroom in an apartment. We had to drive to a petrol station to meet and wait to be met by this guy who then got into the car to direct us to the apartment. We had to pay, in cash, before he left us in the bedroom. Breakfast was in a local cafe. Warning, this is NOT a hotel room.
Loved the apartment and all the windows looking out to the countryside. Apartment is in a residential building on the top floor. Very modern apartment all done in white. The bathroom is extremely modern with an enormous tub with a window looking through the living room and out to the view. Grocery stores very close. Well equipped apartment.
It's a long....... walk to the older part of town which is completely shut down at night as we found out. Probably a 30 min walk. Have to walk through the newer section of town with all the shops to cross over the bridge to the older part. The apartment would be even better if the sofa covers would be not so haphazard. Didn't fit in at all. Restaurant around the corner looked like it served great food but it is definitely a hangout for those who live in the housing complex with all the children running around. Too, too much chaos for us.
In a quiet area, but only minutes to walk into the main town. Very clean and well-equipped apartment. Great communication and help from the host.
Well appointed hi tec apartment with jacuzzi. Very comfortable and relaxing. Great host.
Met by the very helpful and welcoming owner who explained all the workings of the apartment, before handing us the keys. The accommodation was particularly stunning. As far as we were concerned it provided the extra flexibility we wanted in comparison to staying at a hotel. Fantastic view from the balcony both during the day and for those al fresco evening meal moments. The shower was a particular favourite of mine with many 'gizmos' to keep you occupied whilst going through the daily basic washing ritual. The double bath/jacuzi with its view across the valley was equally as stunning. A huge white leather bed finished off the decor. The accommodation was extremely clean and well fitted out and cared for. The apartment was situated a short walk to the night life and restaurants that Ronda has to offer. Made holidaying in Ronda something to remember.
...... leaving the accommodation at the end of the stay!
Very big and comfortable room with tv, wi-fi, tea&coffee, mini firidge, private bathroom. It is quite apartment. İf you travel by car, locatin is very good since it is easy to find the place and find a parking place without entering the old city. you need to walk 10 - 15 minutes to the city center which is not a long distance.
Th eowner of the appartment came to meet us at the gas station to guide us to the place, and even found us free parking. Not a regular checkin, we are in a real appartment facility.
There was no view at all, although this is called VISTAS (views) de Ronda. The appartment was not right in the old city, maybe a 20 minute walk to the Puente Nuevo. The facility was a little dirty, there was dog poop right outside our front door (outside).
Location isn't too bad maybe a 10min walk to one of the main street. Being a little bit out meant it was not so noisy. Very clean. Although I did not use it... the tea and coffee in the room was a nice touch.
Couldn't pick up the wifi.
The apartment like someone has mentioned is cut in half but the "suite" which we stayed in was clean and has a comfortable bed, superb bathroom and amazing views over the countryside. It's within walking distance to everywhere and once on the main road it's on a straight road down into town. The suite is more than adequate for a short break. Big thank you to the owner for going out of his way on a Sunday to come and pick us up.
Small quibbles:- No kitchen sink. No sun on balcony at any time of the day.
This "Suite with Terrace" is actually half of a flat in a seven storey social housing block of at least 100 others. Other people occupy the other half of the flat. It has no kitchen. It has pigeon holes in the living area that contain a very small fridge, microwave and kettle. Washing-up has to be done in the toilet/bathroom with all the risks of cross contamination this involves. The furniture is of poor quality and the remote control for the television is held together with Sellotape and works intermittently as the batteries have leaked in their compartment. You'll need to visit a bank as the owner won't accept a credit or debit card and only accepts cash. The owner lets himself in as and when he fancies. When you sit on the balcony to enjoy the view be prepared to listen to incessantly yapping dogs. On our last day the shower control came off in my hand which revealed it was being held on by a tie wrap. We toured Spain for a month and this was the second most expensive place we stayed. It was by far the worst. Had it not been for the view we'd have left immediately. There are plenty of better places in Ronda which are cheaper.
Amazing views from balcony, roomy, very well furnished apartment huge comfortable bed, owner really helpful, came to find us when we couldn't find apartment. We will definitely return
No kitchen facilities and limited dishes. Very poor directions to location
Great view, cosy apartment, nice bath.
Location outside town but only 10 minute walk in. Very friendly and accomodating owner. Clean!
Our room was not an apartment and therefore did not have views as advertised. It was quite a small bedroom and quite cold for winter.
Tea and coffee making facilities. The restaurant not belonging to vistas de ronda around the corner on calle de malaga next to ginos was excellent. Our room was spotless.
What staff ?.The heating in the room. The only place we could get warm was in bed. No heating in the bathroom. Parking only if you were lucky, and could grab a space in the street. Noisy fridge in the bedroom. Breakfast in a cafe about 100 metres up the street.
Really nice view, superconfortable suite. Near to the city center. Worth the price.
