This luxury hotel is located in the heart of Madrid, within the Art Triangle. The Parliament is across the road, and the Royal Palace and Opera House within walking distance. The Westin Palace offers elegant facilities only 330 yards from the Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia Museums. The hotel is famous for its beautiful stained-glass dome. Here a fantastic buffet breakfast with music is served. Rooms at the Palace are elegant and modern. They have the award-winning Westin Heavenly Bed and Heavenly Bath. There is also antique furniture and an internet TV. Cocktails, coffees and aperitifs are offered in the Palace Bar, under the dome. The location was wonderful to get to museums, shopping and sights. The building is beautiful and the service was excellent. The breakfast buffet was excellent! The bed squeaked and there were stains on one of the drapes. The on screen bill did not include taxes, so we were surprised that the price changed from leaving our room to check-out.

The quality of the rooms, beds, sheets, furniture were excellent. The hotel was quiet yet there was much activity in the lobby and 1st floor restaurants. The health center was first rate and I used it often. The hotel staff was very polite and responsive.

Nice asian restaurant. It was like staying in a railway station- very busy and extremely noisy. Although I had a quiet room in the sense there was no external noise, the disturbance from the hallway more than made up for this. The halls are not fully carpeted so there is continuous noise from people walking: the doors into the rooms are not self- closing so they bang. This is Madrid which is a 24 hour- a- day city so the hotel is noisy at night and early in the morning and restful sleep is not easy!

Very expensive in general for food, drink, extra's in hotel. For example breakfast was €36 per person and a glass of beer in the bar was €10. Ridiculously overpriced.

Good concierge/ doorman Apalling standard of room service (waited 3 hours to have suits collected for express pressing service, two hours for a sandwich) - phone didnt work, room too hot, no engineer available to fix heating/air conditioning, room not made up 2 days out of 3 despite reminding maids in corridor

Location and looks of hotel, staff No free wifi, I find it strange that hotels of this nature do not provide free wifi considering where technology is going with iPads pda's and considering free wifi at Starbucks, McDonalds and Burger King for instance. I find the restaurants and bars a little expensive in the Hotel considering what was available around

Hard to say because we encountered room problems on our first night and the following day which interrpted our planned tour of the city. I am currently communicating with the manager to voice out our complains. Staff did lack coordination and communication with one another so at change of shift things did not get followed up.

The location is superb for touristic purposes. The hotel is quiet at all hours and even a demonstration just outside fail to perturbed the services or peacefullness. Breafast is excellent and the setting sumptuous but at $100.00 vastly overpriced.

Perfect location for entertainment, walking sightseeing, museum visits, choice of typical and international food restaurants. Try walking the streets in front and behind the hotel. Lots of authentic tapas restaurants. Try the Spanish cava. Plaza Santa Ana is delightful in the evenings. The gym at the hotel is nice. Have a great time.

Emplacement à proximité des musées très apréciable. Magnifique coupole Art Nouveau de vert coloré. Grande chambre très belle. Un peu bizarre pour un Ets de cette catégorie qu'au check-in on pose la question de savoir si on va avoir besoin d'aide pour les bagages alors que l'accès au lobby se fait par les escaliers
