Nice location and near to Metro. Clean interior.
The remote control for TV is not working.
The location of this place was fantastic. Very well connected and in nice area. Sant Antoni market just outside was very nice. The flat is very quiet and the bedroom comfortable. Good quality sleep. Despite its problems, an apartment is still a good choice in Barcelona for the price compared to a hotel - I am 50/50 though about recommending whotelis.
The bathroom was functional enough but the shower is poorly designed so a lot of water collects on the bathroom floor when you shower. But otherwise functional. The owners do not attend to problems in the flat though as reading from previous reviews, the same problems were existing from my recent stay. 1st night - find that the drainage for the shower was slow so was generally standing in a pool of water in the shower, having to turn it off every few minutes to wait for the shower to drain before continuing to shower! This is also mentioned in a review below. Also, upon arrival, 2 of the main lights in the living room did not work, and the lady said someone from maintence will come to replace them on Monday - this never happened. 2 - the pipe draining the bathroom sink was leaking whenever you used the sink. (the skirting board in the bathroom near the shower was also mouldy and coming off - mentioned by another reviewer yet not fixed) 3 - there was a water leak from the ceiling in the kitchen - with a very mouldy ceiling, peeling paint and this looked very unheigenic. I wish I had taken a picture to be able to show this. Again, this is mentioned in the review below. When reported to the owners, they responded as if they did not know, so clearly this is not true. These things should be fixed before new guests arrive to stay, or do not put them in this flat until it is fixed. This is poor service. 4 - the boiler started leaking on the 2nd night in the kitchen. This was very concerning because the boiler is connected by an electric plug and the water leaking from the boiler was running down the cable of the electric plug - so a major safety risk. 5 - on one of the days, the owner came in with maintenence staff to attend to the boiler and reported to me the whole thing needs to be changed and needs a whole day, so i can just use it as it is with a pot to catch the water leak. So now, I have two pots catching leaks in the kitchen.
