The apartment inside very wide and clean, well equiped
Location near La Rambla but it inside narrow roads not clean not safe
The apartment was nice, and the neighbourhood interesting.
The staff was very friendly, but despite several requests did not help us out with problems with the apartment. We stayed for a week, and lamps that were broken was not fixed. The kitchen was ill equipped, and in the weekend there was a party on the roof terrance that kept us awake at night. No staff is present in the weekends, and staff did not answer the phone in the weekends either.
great location, very spacious, and roof top lounge
Enough room for 4 persons as promised.
Location in a very shady street. Whotells had changed our apartment into another address and had not informed us in advance, service was unfriendly although this was their mistake. In bathroom a strage smell and marks in the ceiling (mold). Additional costs for arriving after 9 pm and no palace to leave your luggage on Sunday. We cannot recommend the place other than to a group of young party people.
The location was great, but very noisy. The apartment was very well insulated against the noise, however, as we only realised the intensity whenever we opened the windows. The en suite bathroom was a useful addition. Close to everything, we even managed to walk to the beach and Sagrada Familia
Very noisy front door which slammed every time and kept me awake throughout the night. Skateboarders who "occupied" the Museum of Contemporary Art which is less than a minute away. Young men who seemed to be on a stag week and came back very drunk every night. (nothing the staff could do about that...). Unfortunate that there were no double beds, I kept falling down the middle every time I tried to have a cuddle with my husband!!!
The apartment inside was clean, and modern. There were adequate supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms. They refunded our last 3 nights so we could go find accommodations with a reliable key and elevator, and begin to feel comfortable with our experience in Barcelona.
The apartment is on a long, narrow back street with graffiti everywhere that looks "sketchy" at best. For foreign travelers it does not convey a sense of comfort and security. The room key was unreliable and we could not count on being able to open the door to our apartment. When the key quit working they accused us of breaking their lock. The elevator broke down in between floors and we were stuck in a small, hot elevator for a time. When the owner got it working, he greeted us with "It works" rather than any kind of apology for being stuck. They have a long way to go in figuring out customer service in our opinion.
A very good location within walking distance of many bars, restaurants, bus stop. walkable to the beach and port areas through Las Ramblas.
The narrow street it is on tends to be noisy during the night.
The apartment is clean with a well stocked kitchen, and with numerous little shops right outside for buying groceries. The apartment is only around 5 mins walk from Las Ramblas, and is directly around the corner from the MACBA museum - so very easy to get a taxi back to the apartment if you venture further afield. The lady who came to greet me was very friendly, and she always picked up the phone whenever I had to call for some local guidance and she was only too keen to help. She even was already to direct me to a well stocked gym just a few minutes walk from the apartment.
The internet connection was a little slow - that's the only thing I can say I didn't like as the rest of the apartment was awesome! In an 'interesting' part of town, but felt safe at all times so not an issue.
We had a little problem with my master card so while we were on our way to the apartment they actually cancelled but were able to give us another (bigger) apartment! Our host was very friendly. She also helped us when we called her around 10pm because we forgot the code of our locker. Thanks alot!
We could not refresh the sheets. Maybe good to have extra sheets for the beds. Unfortunately there was no dish washer, but the rest of the kitchen was fully equiped.
Great, very clean apartment with excellent facilities! The location is brilliant! Really enjoyed watching life go by from the balcony. The apartment is very quiet once the windows are shut so being in a busy area doesn't matter. Also, the staff is very helpful & friendly.
The couches are uncomfortable. Can't relax on them.
great location, everything in working order, perfect accommodating staff. Thank you to Milena/Daniella, would definitely stay again.
apartment is big and clean
no housekeeping no 24/24 reception left not working for one day WiFi is poor
Location was excellent
No cleaning of the apartment in the week we were there and we had to go and ask for more towels. Staff were disinterested in us, not very friendly
Friendly Staff and really good accomadation, better than staying in a hotel
Location of the apartment is central.
Surrounding area of the apartment is very loud (many shops, skaters); rooms are very dark you need to switch on light all day long; towels were not changed as promised every 3rd day. Dishes were not clean. Not convincing Price-/Performance Ratio.
Good location, close to La Rambla yet cool and hip local street. Good kitchen, Balcony.
Internet is good only in kitchen part of living room, signal gets very weak if you move away from dining table :)
All was very good!! And melina the girl who working there is just the best. Thankxx. Hichem
Excellent reception staff very helpful. Good location.
Nice location few mins to La Rambla A lot of late night supermarkets on street Very helpful waoman at reception desk Free wife connection
No daily cleaning service The appartment smelly drains No 24 hrs reception Shower always full of water stucked in strainer
The apartment was spacious, clean and came fully equipped. It was near the Museum of Modern Art and Las Ramblas. We felt welcomed, were met on time and everything exceeded espectations.
Great location, very central, just a few minutes walk to the Ramblas. The apartment was simply but nicely furnished and very clean. No problems with the heating, we were never cold
The description was not accurate. We booked a double room and a twin room but were given an apartment with two twin rooms. The DVD player and CD player were missing. The next day they managed to find a DVD player but no sign of the CD player. Very noisy - from the street and also from other guests coming back late at night, early in the morning. Apartment is only equipped with basics - 5 glasses, 4 small mugs etc. Not really value for money when compared to a hotel.
On arrival the staff were welcoming and friendly and very helpful . The apartment was bright , clean , spacious and was very well equipped . It was very well located for all conveniences of Barcelona . We arrived at 11.30 am and we're allowed to check in at that time which was brilliant . We needed to print off boarding passes and the girl on reception was most helpful and did it without any trouble . I would stay at Whotells again
It was Nov and the apartment was a little cold
-Best Place about it is its location which is 2 mins walk to La Rambla Street -Everything is feasible restaurants, bars and clubs -Clean -Caring Staff
- I couldnt find anything which i dint like
clean apartment, well furnished, a lot of towels, good (but maybe quite hard) beds, a choice of pillows, a safebox, a good working free wifi and airco, a flatscreen TV with too much channels and 3 set of keys. There is a lift, and a nice roof sun-terrace with loungers on the sixth floor. Bedrooms at the back are very quiet - you can sleep with open windows (except at the street side). Towels are changed every 3 days (they 'forgot' to change, but when we asked for new towels, we received them immediately). There are a lot of little food-shops in the street with fresh fuit, vegetaties and a choice of bread. Excellent restaurant Imprevist just around the corner. Only 10' walk from Plaza Universidad Aerobus-stop.
too much noise at night on the street-side bedroom (but very quiet at the back). towells weren't change after 3 days (but when we asked for it, we received new towells). staff asked us to double-lock the doors, but they don't do it themselves.
