nicely renovated historical building.

hotel re-furnished standard is very good. Shower and bath room is modern & powerful. Provide kettle. Room layout (01 Room) very spacious with a little sofa inside. excellent location. metro within 10min walk. bus stop just outside entrance.

room next to staircase has some noise in the morning (it's an old building re-furnished).

Everything is very comfortable, the site is very convenient to any visiter, only the breakfast is a little high

The design and location. Location pretty good to be at the quiet end but close to centre for walking distance.

Said coffee maker in each room that's why I chose this hotel. No coffee maker in each room. Untrue statement. Water was either scolding or freezing never constant- very difficult to shower under circumstances

It's location is good since it is on the diagonal and near to the bus stop. The hotel staff was friendly.The room/bath was big enough.

The soap,body lotion and shampoo was very poor- they use the cheapest one I guess. Also the hair dryer was not working properly(they changed it after I wanted another one but the quality of it was bad)

Very friendly, helpful staff, they do the best to satisfy the guests, comfortable and modern designed room, good location on the street of shopping, world center, restaurants , bus stops are close, i d like to return next time

Good location near the metro, big street with famous shops, historical places..

The staff is not friendly, the room very small. The hotel does not have own parking. The window of the room is in front of office in another building.

The outdoor soundproofing is great, but not so the indoor one. You can hear all what happens in the corridor.

On Sunday before 9.00 am the cleaning ladies started calling loudly at each other & bumping their chariots in the corridor. Not being enough, they knocked at our room door!

We loved everything. Friendly staff, room, location ... It was a really pleasant stay and all the family loved it. I would definitely would go back there and would recommend for all sorts!

A little far from the city centre to walk, but taxis were plentiful and reasonable.

Great hotel with a lot of value for your money. We had the standard (cheapest) double room and it had a nice view, was well designed and decorated, and clean. But what I liked most was the rich breakfast which we enjoyed every morning (12 euros per person). I definitely will revisit this hotel when I am back to Barcelona.

They don't have a luggage stand in their rooms which I consider to be a standard item in any 3*+ hotel. However, I just used a chair and it worked as well. There is also no laundry service. Also, I wish the staff would speak better english, however, they were very helpful at any time.

Design

I called to make sure I get a room with a view on Diagonal. They promised me I would get it. On arrival I got a different room, but luckily they were able to change it.

The friendly helpful staff and comfort of our room made our short trip very enjoyable we had a late flight home and they kept our bags for us after we checked out....they really could not do enough for us

We did not get back home until Nov. 21. Since then I have been meaning to write to Mr. Alex Ferrando a letter letting him know how much we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Sebastian was extremely helpful giving us great suggestions for restaurants and entertainment in the area. Ahmed looked after our smallest request (like an iron & board) in a matter of minutes. The lady that cleaned our room (sorry I did not write her name) kept our room & bathroom spotless. She too gave us ideas about the different forms of transportation available to us. I am hoping to be back in Barcelona next year and, if so, I would definetely would like to stay again at your hotel. It was a very enjoyable experience. We were pleased to have been given a suite for the three of us. However, we would have liked to have a door separating the bathroom from the rest of the room. Everything else exceeded our expectations!

Great break fast with a good variety

The location suited us well as we came to Barcelona to watch football at Camp Nou, to do some sightseeing and to visit las Ramblas. It was real good value for the money, though we did not try the breakfast as it was not included in our price.

The hotel was very comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful. Some of the interior design of the room and public spaces is interesting and amuzing, in a good way. The location is on a central avenue, but we had a back-facing room, with a beutiful view. in any case, the windows and insulation seem well enough to fight off traffic noise. We found a good deal on booking.com, so the value for money was excellent. it is a 3 start hotel, not less, not more.

the room had a bit of smoking scent, but I have to admit we did not ask for a smoke-free room, nor did we comment about this to the very helpful staff. The location is a bit of a walk from the nearest metro stations (no more than 10 min) However, there are great bus lines stopping right infront of the hotel. The shower in the 6th floor was a bit low-pressure. but it was quite fine, and very nice and clean.
