YH Giralda  

Location was within 300 feet of cathedral and alcazaar. Good tapa bars close, lots of activity.

Our room was adjacent to the lane or narrow city street, the room also had a single pane window. The window does not stop the noise, however my wife and I travel with ear plugs, so this did not disturb our sleep. We stayed for two nights and found our stay quite pleasant. Staff were willing to make arrangements for us. I.e flamenco dance event. So I would recommend.

This location could not be bettered. A few minutes walk from Seville's prime tourist sights such as the Alcazar, Bulllring, Cathedral, Hotel Alfonso xiii (Go there, have tea! - the place is amazing), River etc. Also close to a superb and reasonably priced Italian restaurant called San Marco if you get tired of tapas (and paying for lots of nibbles trying to get a meal out of them!) There are buzzing streets with restaurants etc close by, but the hotel is just up a quiet, pedestrian street so its pretty quiet. The room was clean and modern, and overlooked the street (Room 31). There is always someone in reception, and they are very helpful with transport queries etc. We took a day trip by train to Cordoba - great!.

We stayed five nights and the place suited us fine, but be aware of following: No breakfast - but I recommend Bar Toro Toro nearby for a selection of reaonably priced breakfasts. A very small lounge. No lift. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. Bring a travel kettle!

Very interesting building and very friendly and helpful staff. Location in old town is great for seeing everything in Sevilla. We only had one night but would return to YH Giralda for a longer stay.

We liked the central location, very handy for the main attractions in Sevilla and local restaurants and bars.

We were given an inside room, opening out on to an internal courtyard rather than fresh air. We were not aware that this was a possibility and would greatly have preferred a 'window' room like the ones adjacent to ours. The inside room meant it was hot and could be a little claustrophobic.

The best thing about YH Giralda is the location: in the heart of Sevilla (Santa Cruz) 2 minutes walking from the cathedral, the Alcazar, restaurants and bus station to the airport. Our room was very small but clean, perfect for a one or two nights stay.

The Giralda is an sevillan traditional house without elevator. All the rooms have their entrance door in the patio, so noise can be a problem when guests arrive or go early in the morning. Please note there is no minibar in the room.

The staff was very helpful in suggesting place to visit, tapas bars and could speak also English. The position is very good, near the cathedral, in a very quiet little street. The room was very cheap but comfortable with a large bathroom and a big shower and also very cold even if there were 46degrees outside (on the 20th of August).

Location was great, room was clean, internet worked fine, AC as well, staff was friendly and helpful.

Windows mostly look to inner courtyard, but that's understandable once you experience the heat in August...it makes sense then. They had trouble charging my Diners, had to use a different card.

Located a few blocks from the Alcazar and Cathedral.  Put your back to the Giraldi Towers, walk up the street in front of you and turn left before you get to the Columnas bar (on the right).   Staff are helpful and went out of the way to help us with finding a laundrymat.  I like the building design where rooms open to a central "plaza".  Ask the desk for the wifi password and a local map.  We took a horse tour around the historic area, which was a little pricey but saved us from sweating it out on foot and covered the places the front desk told us to visit.

AC took a few minutes to get going but was fine afterwards.  Seville(a) can get really hot so you may want to leave the AC on when you leave.

The location is perfect: only a few steps from it there are main sights, restaurants and taxi drivers.

The quiet pedestrian street, the ambience of a grand old house and being so close to the best part of Sevilla, these are the aspects that made the yh Giralda a good place to stay.

Great location in Santa Cruz, the old quarter of Seville, close to the Alcazar and the Cathedral and bell tower. Quiet and clean. Some of the staff speaks English.

No windows to the outside in many of the rooms. What "windows" there are open instead onto a roofed-over central area that contains the staircase. These rooms feel a bit claustrophobic. No elevator.

Location was very convenient for shopping and site seeing. Large number of very good restaurants close by.

La situation géographique. La disponibilité du personnel. Globalement le charme de l'hôtel.

Litet trevligt hotell. Hjälpsam personal. Mycket välstädat. Centralt.

Saknade frukost. Litet rum. Dubbelsäng i ett rum som skulle vara mer lämpat som enkelrum med plats för extrabädd.

La proximité des sites historiques et des jardins Alcazar

1 chambre sans fenêtre pour 2 nuits lors de notre retour de Granada, mais peut-être hôtel complet. Pourtant le même prix que pour les 5 1ères nuits !

El hotel está muy céntrico y limpio. El personal muy amable

Quizá que nuestra habitación estaba en un segundo piso y no hay ascensor.

- zeer centrale locatie, op nog geen 200 m van Giralda- katedraal en Alcazar - in zeer rustig straatje - volop mogelijkheid tot ontbijten, tapas, eten ...in de buurt

- gelukkig hadden we een kamer aan de straatkant, met raam naar buiten, de andere kamers hebben enkel een raam naar de patio

Tres belle établissement, tres bien placé à 2 pas de la giralda et du real alcazar.

Chambre assez petites pourtant on nous avez attribué la chambre handicapé. La salle de bain est très grande et bien équipé pour une personne à mobilité réduite cependant je me demande comment peut elle circuler dans la chambre... Malheureusement les chambres du rez de chaussé donne dans le hall de l’hôtel et il y a énormément de bruit toute la nuit du fait de la porte et des murs très fins... A éviter pour toutes personnes sensibles aux bruits comme moi.

Personel y atencion estupenda. Muy bonito y centrico.

Resepsiyon personeli çok cana yakın, sizinle ilgileniyorlar, rahat ettirmek ve yardımcı olmak için ellerinden geleni yapıyorlar. Otelin konumu da mükemmel. Sevilla'nın kalbinde diyebilirim.

La posizione era perfetta a due passi dalle principali attrazioni della città. Richiedete delle camere con finestra all'esterno, perchè le altre danno sul patio interno. Staff gentile e disponibile.

Da migliorare la pulizia.Ma lo consiglio

Emplacement extraordinaire. Literie très confortable. L'hôtel est bien tenu et le personnel agréable.

Isolation sonore.

La poca luz natural de las habitaciones y el ruido, ya que las habitaciones dan a un patio interior y se escuchaba todo, sobre todo las señoras de la limpieza.
