Really liked the 'courtyard' feel of the reception area, as well as the decoration here and in the room. Staff were really polite and helpful...happy to store our bag after check leaving us free to explore Granada. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you
Only one small negative - the bed was really comfortable apart from the bolster style of pillow!
Friendly, organised, small & with personal service.
The location was excellent. Rooms comfortable, staff helpful and the cafe downstairs was nice.
Finding it by car nearly ended in divorce. Wifi could be better, but we were on holiday, so not that important to us.
Small, characterful hotel in quiet but central location. Reasonably priced and with friendly staff.
Slightly dark, run-down feel. Some broken fittings in our bedroom. Car parking is a nightmare, as is dropping luggage off.
Location is perfect for Albacyn, beautiful old hotel with the friendliest, helpful staff
I liked everything about this place. Location, comfort, staff, all good. And when staying there, also visit the cafe downstairs and bar next door. I highly recommend this hotel in Granada.
Nothing I did not like.
The location was charming, in old Arab quarter of city right below the Alhambra. The hotel ooozed character and style. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
We always choose the Albaycin very convenient and this position was fine
We were given a room on the top floor. The hotel urgently needs a plumber. We were obviously just above the water tank and boy did we know it!! Any room running water created the noise of a train coming in. To add insult to injury, in the morning after all the noise, we had no hot water.
> Very nice stuff > Great location > Beautiful decoration, very nice old style > We had absolutely great time, thank you
This is a beautifully maintained hotel with extremely pretty and comfortable rooms. This is right next to the Darro river, which is at the base of the hill on which Alhambra is located. You can launch yourself into walking expeditions into Albayczin and Sacremonte, and indeed Centro, very easily. Doesn't get better than this!
That I had time only to stay here for a night. Wished I could have stayed for more!
Lovely room, individual decor, mini bar. Breakfast and tapas in adjoining bar. Hot hot shower. Great location easy walk to main shopping area, alhambra and historic areas.
the taxi dropped us at the door and the lovely man at reception came down to carry our bags. the hotel was really unusual, built in the 16th century moorish style, we really loved it. the bar downstairs was great value for money too with free tapas with every drink. I was able to practice my Spanish but the staff spoke English.would certainly go again.
there wasn't anything to dislke about the hotel. Granada was a nightmare to drive into. In the end we parked in an underground car park and got a taxi to the hotel which turned out to be quite a way away.
Downstairs restaurant/bar were excellent!
Car park 15 min walk away
Most difficult to get to by car, parking a distance away.
We were really made to feel welcome in this delightful and funky hotel. In a 300 year old building with a Moorish feeling, this small hotel was perfect for our needs. We stayed in Room 201, The Junior Suite, which we'd highly recommend. It was very spacious with couch and coffee table, as well as having a large bathroom. We had a great view of Alhambra towers from our window. Location was great, close to everything.
Friendly staff and lovely big bath with a nice view of the Alhambra
Smell of sewage in the bedroom and dodgy plumbing.
Location was perfect. Room was spacious and had a balcony which looked at the top of one of the Alhambra towers.
Our room was at reception level so you could hear everyone talking in the area during the day. At night, however it was quiet. It would not prevent us from staying there if we were to go again.
The location was excellent. Hotel was clean with charming decor and very helpful staff.
Noisy in the room - we could hear another room's TV and other people's conversation.
Mold in the shower, rickety glass, shelf and towel holder
Position was great. View was fantastic. Good breakfast spot below.
Being moved rooms after one night to a room that had an overwhelming sewerage smell - obviously pipe trouble. First room had balcony and was good. Second room small with terrible odour.
We LOVED this hotel! The best of all the places we stayed in Spain. Loved the overall atmosphere and location by the stream...provided great white noise for good sleep as well. Very kind and helpful staff and a great little pub just downstairs.
Only drawback was that wifi service was spotty at times, but that was case at all our hotels in Spain.
Lack of parking
The staff, very friendly and helpful.
Nothing to say about it
poor view, noisy
