We have stayed overnight at the hotel previously whilst travelling to Spain. The location is ideal for our purpose. Good size rooms. The rooms get very warm during the night, even with the radiator turned off. If you open the window you get traffic noise.

The hotel was excellent value for money, especially a 3-course dinner including a bottle of wine! It was a good location for us as we wanted to visit San Sebastian - convenient for both bus and train. It was also close to the beach for a lovely stroll. The noise from passing traffic was quite bad, even in November. The dinner menu was an adventure as there was no English and we don't speak Spanisb.

Well located in the Basque Country in relation to the beach and to beauty spots in a countryside and mountain environment. Easy access by car to and from San Sebastian - Donostia for a day or an evening out. Easy driving to get to the hotel. Free and secure parking space for guests. Comfortable. Professional welcome. Good quality buffet breakfast. Pleasurable little town ( seaside resort with a traditional old town and a lot of character ). Enjoyable at all times of the year.

It was a very friendly olde worlde family hotel with beautiful paintings and old furniture everywhere. Staff were friendly and vert efficient. Our room was very comfortable. The hotel is not too far from the fabulous beaches and promenade of Zarautz, and the shops, restaurants and cafés, so a perfect location. The free parking in the hotel is too small for the number of rooms, and was already full when we arrived, so we had to park in a nearby Parking which cost us €18 per 24 hours!

Proximity of beach, esplanade and railway station. The very cheap and frequent rail service to Donastia San Sebastian, a large and attractive city, was very useful. Nothing

This is like a mini San Sebastian. Its a lovely place. Hotel was well located on the main street with the beach 100m across the road. Excellent value for money with breakfast included.Local town centre is lively and is less than 10 mins walk from the hotel. The gentleman behind the desk was very nice and helpful and spoke very good English.Lovely balcony. Hotel parking is limited, about 30 spaces out the back of the hotel but full all the time. I hovered in the carpark for 20 mins and got lucky when someone pulled out. In fareness it was August. Local on-street parking is very expensive at about €1.80per hour and is policed. Parking meter is difficult to use and you must enter your car reg number into the machine so when you print your ticket it is personalised to your car. Room was quite small and double bed was small for two but fine for me. Tiny bathroom.

very close to the center and to the beach. easy acessability from the highway. We were travelling with 5 people: 2 adults and 3 children. We booked 2 bedrooms , but we only needed 1,seeing that there were 2 double beds and one extra single bed. we tried to stay in only one room but we were told all changes should be done via booking. I believe the hotel could help at the moment, but they did not. Parking was also a problem. There were limited space and we had to pay the first day. The hotel zarauz is located in Zone 3 and the tarifs were verey expensive.

A comfortable room, reasonable dinner cost and good breakfast, not as good as last year but still good value. Free wifi that worked perfectly was a bonus. The hotel is charming, an original villa, we have stayed here for the last 5 years on our way to France and the uk. Beautiful , up market, seaside resort. Bathroom extras have reduced but we will be back again next year. Our room, this time, had a very short bath and the toiletries were just soap.

Good location, old fashioned hotel Too expensive for what it was worth. Both my girlfriend and I had an itch / rash on the skin the morning after we slept in the beds so I guess the hygiene was quite poor. The hotel staff was pretty passive

Very good value for money. This place is well run. Clean and functional with character; a welcome change from aseptic hotel chains. Beautiful village and just three blocks from the waterfront. While well maintained, the building has low sound isolation. Didn't pose a problem for us but might for people with very light sleep. Breakfast was basic and I would recommend going to a nearby cafe.

Very Clean. The set up of the room and bathroom is excellent. There is no access to news channel in English. There is no tea/coffee making facilities (do not mind to pay for this) and no bedroom slippers and shower cap (do not mind to pay as well). The bed needs to be upgrade a bit. My husband and I sat at the end of one bed, it nearly tip over.
