Elegant rooms and the surroundings of an old town, close to fishing harbour. Hotel is an old fashioned and restful building in walking distance of beaches and hills.

Dogs allowed in bedroom but not unaccompanied and not allowed in other areas of hotel which restricts use of hotel resources

Excellent suite, well furnished, very pretty and quiet location. Receptionist very helpful. Good breakfast. Parking safe.

Address does not show on GPS so hard to find. Had to call hotel to ask for directions. Even then the hotel sign was hard to spot. Another Spanish hotel had emailed us a map to help find it. Suggest this hotel does the same.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Everything about it was top class. A beautiful hotel to stay in with comfortable lounges, bedroom and outside area. Staff particularly nice. Definitely a hotel to stay in again and again.

Really enjoyed our 4 nights stay in this lovely hotel. Beautiful building, rooms, great terrace/bar and the most wonderful staff you could wish to meet. Without exception, however, all staff here are helpful and friendly and only too pleased to help you enjoy your stay. I must give particular praise to the 2 lady receptionists who were particularly so helpful when we found that Brittany Ferries had cancelled our boat from Santander. With no French map one was good enough to print us the Googlemap route through France and discuss the way. Will definitely stay here again

Wonderful welcome from helpful, charming staff, without exception. Beautifully decorated, delightful bar and small garden outside. Bedroom well furnished and very comfortable, if uninspiring view at back.

Poor facilities...no tea/coffee making facility in our 'superior' room. No fridge. No dining room or hot food available. No pool or relaxation area.

nothing - we'd love to go back!

The hotel building, situated near the delightful village of Lekeitio, is beautiful, as was the room we stayed in. The staff, without exception, were very friendly, helpful and totally efficient at all times. Breakfast was excellent and we cannot wait to return for another visit.

Whilst a rationes menu is available in the evening a more extensive dinner menu might be useful.

Generous-sized, comfortable rooms;most peaceful feeling though so close to town centre and beach; very helpful and friendly staff. The local beach is beautiful, the town is small scale but has all you need.

Beautifully designed and furnished rooms in a stunning setting. Very close to all other amenities, yet quiet because of its location.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.The hotel was quaint, bright, tastefully furnished and situated within lovely grounds. Own car park, for us, was imporant. Excellent breakfast, Timing of breakfast was good, 8am - 11am, this allowed us a choice of getting up and out or relaxing.

For us the beds could have been softer.

Friendly welcome, lovely location, historic building

Hotel Zubieta is a lovely small hotel in an idealic location on the north coast of Spain. This was our second visit and we will definitely be returning there in the future. The town is small & welcoming with a long sandy beach and a very interesting harbour.

A lovely peaceful and tranquil place. Excellent service and lovely room. Breakfast was very good. Lekeitio is a pleasant little town with the perfect match of restaurants and bars as well as a long sand beach. An excellent place to unwind.

Superb stylish hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. Would love to go back, only shame it has not got a restaurant as I am sure that would have been the best place to eat as well.

It was quiet, well located, comfortable and with friendly helpful staff.

The hotel was difficult to find. We had to stop to ask three people before were finally able to find it.

This is simply the most spendid and friendly hotel in northern Spain!
