눉only objection was the Wifi. I had reasonable signal strength in the dining room, but in the bedroom the signal was sporadic and frequently disconnected (like every 2 minutes). It looks like the signal was on the verge in that room. It may be due to location of the room. Tested with 4 different devices. Such a pity.
The connection in the dining room was good, and the internet speed was also pretty good there.
Another strange thing was that none of the windows opened. Was it because it was the ground floor ? The only thing that we could open and get some fresh air was the door towards the garden. Not a big deal though.
The apartment was large, had a separate bedroom, had a fully functional kitchen, with electric stove, tea and coffee making facilities, various cooking and eating stuff. We could cook breakfast in our rooms and save money doing it.
You still need to buy your own sugar, tea bags, oil if you want to cook, so I suggest you bring some with you. I ended up buying 1kg of sugar and a pack of tea bags, and brought most of it back home. I also ended up using butter instead of oil cause buying 1l of oil to fry some eggs seemed too much. What I needed to have done is bring a little sugar, oil, tea with me instead.
There is a shared sauna which you can book for an hour all for yourself, open from 5-10pm. We loved it.
One suggestion to the hotel staff, provide more towels. We booked the last hour of the sauna program, and all the towels were used. I suspect some guests use more than one towel, like one to sit in the sauna, and a new one after the sauna.
The place is very quite, no sound from outside, nor from neighbors.
Some guests on this site complained about the self-checkin after 5pm. I did not know what to expect. But coming from Switzerland, a country where everyone is trying to optimize work to use less people, I found the process brilliant.
Great place overall, I would definitely come back if I ever visit Helsinki again.
