Airport Hotel Oulu  

Perfect location as next morning I had a early flight.

A beautiful view. A low key hotel.

The ventilation was very loud early in the morning.

It´s a clean hotel with beautiful garden and you can walk straight to the shores of the botnic sea where you can watch waterbirds - it´s about 15 min from the center by bus, but you can rent a bike (no extra charge) and enjoy the wonderful surroundigs on your trip to oulu. It´s very close to the airport, so no hassle with your bags through the city, there is no noise at all!! All you hear are birds and nature, very peaceful!!! I enjoyed it a lot! Very helpful staff too and very comfortable and spacious room. Definately worth the stay!

If you are short on cash, it´s not the cheapest hotel, but a lot is included in price and it´s good value for money.

They did not change/clean the room for 2 nights (Bed sheets/bath towles/floor). Didn't even come and knock the door.

The hotel was located very close to oulu airport, only 2 miles away, ideal for travellers. The setting is very nice, with attractive gardens outside. The staff were helpful and friendly. My room was a good size, quiet comfortable and clean. Breakfast was quite good, but didnt have the variety offered by some other hotels in Finland.

A couple of minor issues.There was no air conditioning in the room, and as it was 32C outside, it was very hot inside. Also the ground floor rooms face the beer garden area, so drinkers can see into the rooms.I had to have the curtains closed for privacy, and couldnt enjoy the views out, or get any breeze in through the small opening window. Overall, its a nice hotel, but its a little over priced for what you get, compared with other hotels in Finland.

We stayed at this hotel because we had a very early departure from the airport. The hotel is very nice, with spacious rooms. We had a nice dinner. Staff is very friendly. It served its purpose very well.

Personnel were ready to help almost immediately if something was not working. Quiet place, on the sea shore. Good breakfast, not the biggest I've seen among other places, but good. Sauna is for free.

Looks like they have lost our booking.com reservation and were simply not ready when we came :) . So finally we got our rooms but they were really preparing them on the fly - eg. not all the trash bins were cleaned. Also, we have booked two rooms - one for family (2 adults + 2 children) and another for our friends (2 adults) - we got two absolutely identical rooms but for different price. Furniture is quite old.

Hotellet var stengt om morgenen og jeg skulle med fly. Jeg var nødt til å gå ut en sidedør for alt var låst og igen var tilstede. jeg fikk praiet en taxi 07.10 og rakk flyet men uten frokost og veldig stresset med en hotellnøkkel i lomma som jeg ikke fikk levert. Resepsjonen skulle åpne 06.00 og frokost skulle begynne kl 06.30 men det fantes ingen mennesker til stede og ingen tok telefonen på noen som helst nummer og alt sto på finsk - noe som jeg ikke oppfatter som et verdensspråk (og er litt rart for å være Airport hotell). спокойный и тихий отель. доброжелательные люди. удобен для тех, кто путешествует на машине.

холодная (!!!) и "дешевая" сауна, погреться с наслаждением так и не удалось - самый главный и единственный минус, поскольку именно эта опция нам, уставшим после долгой дороги, и нужна была. странное время для обеда - 18:00, минус это или нет - не знаю, может в это время обед у всех финов, тем не менее - не удобно, т.к. обеда мы так и не дождались и уснули.
