Location The rooms and the bathroom aren't the best and looks old. But still is a good option if you just use it for sleeping. The breakfast was average.

First - polllows! The fastest way to the headache - pillows of the Arthur htl! Second - relation! They new we would come with an infant. They gave us a room looking over a noisy street on the second floor! At 9 o'clock renovation works started all around. We called the reception a few times. The answers were very surprising: "the workers are allowed to work at the working time", "we thought you will depart earlier as guests usually do" etc.! When the niose got unbearable we asked for another room! They gave an avalable!!! Room on the 5th floor, looking over a quiet street. Third - Breakfast! Extreamly poor. Forth - no parking! You should go to a municipal parking which is quite expencive! Fifth - does not cost the money we paid = 150 Euro for triple + 25 Euro for parking!!!!!!!!!

We chose Arthur due to comments of a good break fast, but the buffet was only in quantity, not quality. Please, up the quality of the eggs (scrambled and boiled), bacon (don't stir fry it) and the sausages (don't boil them, fry them)

The location of the hotel is good because it's very central. The room I stayed in was pretty basic and I think they should have paid more attention to the cleanliness of the room. Finding someone else's hair on your pillow is not the best way to start a holiday, nor is having a dirty shower curtain. During my stay it was exceptionally warm in Helsinki and there is no air conditioning in the rooms, so it was very hot. For the fairly high price I paid, I got a very small room, so I don't really think it's value for money.

Breakfast was excellent, much choice in food, either yoghurt, cereal, salad and fruit but also sausages, eggs, porridge and a good choice in bread. The location is also excellent, near the city centre and railwaystation. The hotel could use a little renovation, the interior looks a bit old.

The breakfast at the Hotel Arthur was superb! The staff were friendly and helpful and we had a comfortable stay. Recommended it to a friend and would come back again. The only thing that I could recommend would be a kettle in the room to make a cup of tea or coffee.

The hotel is located close of the station and the center of the city. I just wanted to take the sauna, but it needed to reserve at least 6 person... I traveled alone.

Very good location and friendly personnel! The Hotel is under renovation at the moment, so some rooms are a bit "old-looking", but still comfortable. They don't have free Wi-Fi, but that's a good stimulus to explore the city :))

I appreciated its central position. You can walk everywhere from this hotel. You don't need any means of transport. Small room and uncomfortable bathroom

Friendly place. Within walking distance of trams and trains in the city centre. Sauna is a book for private use so it is hard to get the use of it.

I liked the location and the familiarity of the building. There was a cold draught from the window straight to the head of the bed.

“Excellent location, friendly and helpful hotel staff. Having the room on the seaside we were very satisfied to have a look at those giant boats coming and leaving several times a day. Tasteful "a la carte" dishes at the hotel restaurant, very friendly staff there. The hotel is located right next to the sea (gulf), but it is close to the city centre - you get "two in one". All in all - full satisfaction! We highly recommend this hotel. And many thanks to their receptionists...” Roman, Ostrava 1 |

“The fact that the hotel is an ex prison and there are still features of its past was a draw to choosing the hotel, it's certainly something different! The location whilst out of what you would describe the city centre didn't really matter in the end as the tram stop is right outside. All staff I approached were very helpful and pleasant. Food in the restaurant is of a good standard.” Christopher, La Oliva Fuerteventura |
