The situation of the room is not match the room price.

It was very conveniently located near the station and all the main sights. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good. I particularly enjoyed using the sauna.

Staff and location. Last time I stayed at Hotel Arthur I liked the room I got as well since it was comfortable and clean. This time I was less satisfied, since the room I stayed in was not as good.

The room. I stayed at floor 8 and the room was quite hot and it was not possible to open the window. There was a little smell of smoke in the bathroom, not much, but enough to be annoying.

Great location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. I had three separate stays of four total nights within one week, so I stayed in three different rooms. The rooms had the same layout but differed slightly in furnishings - although all very comfortable and clean, the bathrooms varied and the showers especially were quite different in each room. I suppose luck determines the quality of the shower. Good price by Helsinki standards.

As noted, the showers differ considerably from room to room. One which worked on a (very short) timer was annoying, since it switched off constantly.

The entire 8th floor didn't have a shower, just a shared toilet

I stayed for two nights. The second night I was moved to a different room as I was joining a tour. But the first night I was put in a single room that looked like walls enclosed around various hallways. The room was dirty, in desperate need of an overhall and the shower and toilet were in a 1m space which left the toilet dripping wet. For the money paid, it wad not worth it. Was worse than a hostel. But the second room was totally different, and much more.modern and value for money. I think I got the leftover room.on the first night, so would recommend the hotel fix this room. Location and breakfast was great.

i had a great time there , and when i will return to helsinki i will definetly choose the same hotel.And they have a great finnish sauna that i recomand to all.

Excellent location, staff couldn't be more helpful and the place was very clean.

Poor value for money, I paid the same in Copenhagen and was in a much better hotel. Past its sell by date, furniture and fittings the equivalent of a thrift shop. Dining area very sad, I just couldn't face it. I hate to be negative when the staff are so great.

Strange shower system in bathroom (there is no bathtub or shower cabin, water falls right on the floor), but that wasn't really a big problem.
