It's beautiful, old-school, lovely detail, very comfortable in an Edwardian English fashion. The people are lovely, the food is great, the bar is a great place to hang out. Everything is wonderful. I would go back to Vaasa (a nice town for sure) just to be in this hotel again.

The staff is so nice and polite and friendly! Rooms and hotel all in all is very cosy and clean although vintage but with style. A very good price/value relation. I can strongly recommend! Since the hotel is a little bit older I would not recommend it for disabled people since it is a lot of stairs every where and narrow elevators and corridores.

The staff was very nice and helpful. On the website it says that yhere is internet network at every room. It was only on the groundfloor. That was not good for us who had to work in the evenings. There was a mouldy smell in the room and I did not feel OK after sleeping there.

Sopivan pieni. Yksilöllinen perhehotelli, eikä mikään hajuton/mautoton ketjuohjattu bailuhelvetti. Upea aamupalapöytä, ihastuttava henkilökunta. Hienoa että tämänkaltaisia hotelleota vielä on ! En suostu enään missään muualla Vaasassa majotua kuin Astorissa !

Hotelli oli kaikinpuolin erinomainen. Erityisesti sisustus ja palvelu oli ihanaa ja tietysti aamiainen oli loistava! Valitsen tästä lähtien aina tämän hotellin matkustaessani Vaasaan. Suosittelen lämpimästi.

Viihtyisä, vanhahtavan tyylinen, persoonallinen hotelli, melkein keskellä Vaasaa. Liikenteen melu ei silti häirinnyt, josko sitä olikaan viikonloppuna. Illalla ruokalista oli hieman suppea, mutta se ei haittaa, koska lähellä paljon ravintoloita ja loppujen lopuksi söimme Astorin XXL Katkarapuleivät, jotka olivat nimensä veroiset ja todella hyvät. Aamupala oli varmaan paras, mitä olen missään hotellissa syönyt, valinnanvaraa oli todella paljon. Pieni miinus, että sähköpostilla lähettämääni kysymykseen ei tullut vastausta. Hieman myös ihmetytti henkilökunnan suuri määrä noin pieneen hotelliin, mutta heistä vain yleensä yksi varsinaisesti palveli asiakkaita ja muut olivat sivussa vaikka varsinaista kiirettä ei näyttänyt olevan. Henkilökunta oli kyllä ystävällistä ja kohteliasta.

Soittelin jo ajomatkalla hotelliin kysyäkseni pysäköinti- ja ruokailumahdollisuuksista saapuessani myöhään illalla. Kaikki tämä järjestyi - oli mehevää kinkkupiirakkaa ja herkullinen salaatti, todella muhkea annos! Tämän kun viinilasin kera nautti, kyllä uni maittoi.Vaikka ikkunat antoivat tielle ja rautatieasemalle, ei melua huoneeseen kuulunut. Huone oli persoonallisen kaunis ja viihtyisä. Aurinkoinen aamiaishuone kutsui monipuolisen aamiaisen ääreen. Huomasin, että myös muut ja lapsienkin kanssa yöpyneet viihtyvät siellä leppoisasti. Rauhallinen tunnelma. Harvoin näin vastaanotettu ja kotoisa olo hotellissa - Lämmin kiitos siitä! Ehdoton suositukseni kaikille ystävilleni, jotka Vaasaan suuntaavat.

jag uppskattade speciellt att någon hade tänkt på att det kan behövas en borste/skrapa till bilen vid kalla nätter, att nån hade satt fram tabletter mot halsbränna, små deltajer men värdefulla. Sen var ju morgonmålet jättefint och hela hotellets omgivning och rum superfina Tack:)

Lugnt, litet, mattor på trappor och korridorer, behaglig atmosfär, nära till vad jag skall göra, nära till taxi och Radisson. Vänlig personal. Små chokladbitar på rummet som verkar omtänksamt, Frukosten av allt som kan önskas, utmärkt! Tack! Sagolik matsal och rökfritt i rummen och matsal. Mår bra av att bo i den vackra miljön på Astor, Bra service till flygplatsen!
