Score from 743 reviews Very good
The hotel is located in the central of Helsinki , central station just around the corner .
It is closed to both night club and the restaurant downstair . I can hear the heavy bass from the nearby night club (i stayed in second floor ). Beware about this before you make any decision. I'd rather to pay a bit more for somewhere you could have decent rest after a long day .
The bed was comfortable Staff were friendly and helpful Great central location
breakfast buffet dissapointing, very basic especially over the Xmas period.
In the heart of city. Clean and spacious room; comfortable bathroom; excellent bed. Nice staff.
The shower hose was leaking while taking a shower; street noise (especially trams were noisy - but that's how it is in the center of city)
A bit noisy. Smallish room, also very hot.
no soap no shampoo
Comfortable hotel with excellent location, good breakfast
Great Location, WiFi & Staff
The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable, the facilities were great
The central position;the kindness of the staff
The rooms on the first floor without a lift; the rooms on the main road a bit noisy
Great bathroom, warm and welcoming, good food,
no lift for buggy, but staff helped with carrying.
Staff were helpful, wi-fi was good, as was breakfast. Hotel is very central, which means many of the interesting points in Helsinki are within walking distance.
No lift. Having to drag two 18 kg pieces of baggage up the stairs was not fun. The lady at the reception kindly offered to help, and I let her carry one of my wife's lighter bags, but it was still quite exhausting.
Staff were very welcoming, coffee shop and bar/restaurant on site. Great location just off the bus terminal square and central station.
Not a top of the range hotel but same prices as a best western we left the evening before in Stockholm but still very pleasant and would stay again
Breakfast. No parking.
in the middle of the city, very polite people, good cafe and restaurant enclosed
my first room was very loud (window to the street) and small, so I changed. the second was bigger and quiet
Location , comfort
The location is great, staff is very polite and helpful, very clean. Breakfast is excellent. The entrance is through the restaurant but one gets used to it after a while... Looks like there is only one floor with rooms, above the restaurant.
Very basic room. Only Finish TV.
Close to transport, friendly staff, OK breakfast included in the price, WiFi worked well, comfortable bed
Noise from the street, shower didn't work properly, outdated furniture and carpet
Very near to the central station, so I was able to take early morning train even when it was really chilling outside.
Rooms are too small, no lift, very difficult to take luggage.
Good location and cafe/restaurant with good facilities included on site
free cofee and snacks
no lift Early closing of breakfast
No lift to the floor even staff offered to carry luggage to the room but it is just inconvenient.
service and location are very very good!
bed too soft
Located near the central station and within walking distance of the city centre. Friendly welcoming staff. Good coffee bar in the entrance and the Iguana restaurant was fine, hand when too tired to go out!
Room a little bit noisy from the buses and trams passing but not a big problem.
Perfect location. Bar had wonderful 1970 seventies atmosphere. Nice personnel. Good breakfast.
Air conditioning missing, but not a big issu in October.
Great location. Nice bar and coffee shop at ground level.
Did not feel like a hotel. Really bad smell in the room. Woke up to the sound of construction. Thin walls through wich I heard people in the hallway and the room next door. Bland breakfast. Overall the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
