Centro Hotel Turku  

Bed, cleaness and breakfast.

We did not find termoregulator in the rood so it eas a bit hot.

The breakfast buffet had a huge selection. Turku itself is generally full of 70s concrete blocks so I can't really complain about the appearance of the hotel. The room was large, comfortable, and well designed.

All hotels in Turku are more expensive than elsewhere in Finland, but for this quality level I would expect just a little more. There was no mini kitchen facility, a kettle would have been enough, and the drinks available in the lobby were over priced. And although it was advertised as having free wireless internet, it never worked, when the staff were informed it wasn't fixed.

Staff very friendly and helpful , Breakfast was very good, wifi worked well, car parking was free and very convenient.

It was a bit noisy because of bad sound proofing between rooms and corridor.

Nice hotel, very quiet because all rooms are facing a courtyard. Great Scandinavian-style breakfast buffet, with fruit and half a dozen different fish. There is also an €8.50 *evening* buffet (without the fish though), which is even *free* if you booked a superior room---though that is not mentioned on the website and we only learned about it by pure chance! Complimentary mineral water in the rooms, nice bathroom.

Staff is friendly and speaks perfect English but important info must be asked of them, like they could have told us about the free evening buffet. On weekdays, the sumptuous breakfast is only until 9.30, which can be tight if you stayed up late. (Sat/Sun is one hour longer, and you can ask them to give you a little more time anyway). The shower in our room had only a curtain which made for wet bathroom floors all the time but there was a rug towel to mop it up.

Excellent breakfast. Since the hotel is located in a courtyard, there is no street noise. Central location in the city. Stylish design. Helpful staff - my first room was facing the elevator, so I asked for a quieter one, and they moved me to the last room at the very end of the corridor where it was perfectly quiet. I would stay there again.

Soundproofing could be better, but I have this problem almost in any hotel.

No air conditioning

The interior design in rooms is cozier than in an average hotel, also in the lobby and breakfast room. Friendly staff and good breakfast.

You will also notice all kind of mistakes, e g door of our room didn't close fully.

Excellent, quiet location for sight-seeing in Turku, convenient to local buses. Excellent breakfast. Nice sauna. Helpful staff. Well-done current Finnish decor in compact use of space.

My room (1 person) was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.

There were renovations going on in some of the rooms, but I guess those need to be done at some point.
