the hotel is near the airport. the hotel is indicated as 4 stars. it is maximum a 3 star hotel. the room is slightly better than the rest. there is not wifi connection as indicated except in reception area. the structure appears quite old. |

Comfortable facilities, although we only had a flying visit and were unable to enjoy the sauna etc. breakfast was very good, and staff were friendly. No kettle! Though I understand this is fairly standard in Finland. |

I liked the fact that the cable internet worked immediately and fast.The breakfast was really nice. If not explained it makes you feel dumb when one cannot use the lift with the new system of inserting the key card in the hole just for a half minute. Please explain at the front desk, or please at least ask whether the guest is familiar with the working of the lift. |

The hotel location was excellent...close to the airport, free shuttle bus, easy access to public transportation and a very decent buffet breakfast. The room was good too. And I had my first experience of a Finnish Sauna here. May not be very authentic but it was acceptable. I requested for an early check-in. I arrived at around 8:30am. The front desk executive told me that none were available...which is fine. So I continued to wait in the lobby. A lot of people were checking out in the morning and was hoping that the front desk executive would call me and give me a room when one was available. Around 10:30am I again asked her if I was in luck for an early check in and this time she promptly gave one room. My grouse is that she could have offered one when it became available rather than wait for me to ask her again ! |

The Cumulus Hotel is conveniently located near the airport, which is good for the early morning flight. It also has wifi connections included with each room, which is handy for the business traveler. |

I was not informed beforehand that the hotel restaurant was being renovated. It was closed for evening meal and had to go to another hotel. The was a fire alarm - it did not seem to be taken seriously, even when the fire brigade arrived. |

Hotel is good for one overnight, or if you have early flight and need to be close to airport. For usual city trip it is better to choose another hotel. |
