Rantasipi Airport  

Food and drink. Very poor quality.

We got so friendly staff first they grouped our rums so they would be next to each other and we got early check in. Thank you!

The front desk person who served me was exceptionally helpful and frendly. For early flight the hotel has a good location close to the airport. Room was quiet.

Service was a little slow. Had to wait several minutes at the desk on arrival and departure because the clerk wasn't there. But it was only a very small inconvenience.

The sauna and swimming pool were a pleasant experience. Breakfast was satisfactory.

Decor in rooms was out-dated, especially the bathrooms. This didn't disturb our stay though.

I did not feel welcome

I think the price (110 Euros) was reasonable for what was offered -- although being from the States, it is not a cheap price. My hotel in Espoo earlier in my week was 139 Euros and the accommodations were not as nice.

My room did not have a safety box. It seems that a hotel like Rantasipi shoud have this offering in each room.

Good staff. Dinner available till 11:30 pm which is good, because I have a long flight from southern Europe and reach the hotel only by 11:00 pm. Close to the Airport and free shuttle service.

Hotel rooms are very lovely, and the breakfast are large and good. It has airport shuttle bus every 20 mins, and there is a big shopping center about 10 walking distance to the hotel.

The price is not cheap, but this is very common price for this kind of hotels in Finland....

Nice food but poor service in the dining restaurant

The staff of the hotel, particularly the late-night clerk, is exceptional. He was so helpful in so many ways; competent, careful, pro-active, etc. We will stay there again, when in Helsinki, because of this staff.

The hotel is extremely convenience to the airport, but not much else. It's a great place for an overnight, or two, if you have an early flight.

Free shuttle bus. Location is close to shopping center. No "airport hotel" feeling.

The mushroom soup in the restaurant was delicious. My husband had a grilled chicken sandwich which was good too. We had only 10 minutes to enjoy the breakfast in the morning but the selection was good. This hotel is only 10 minutes away from Helsinki-Vantaa airport and they provide a shuttle to the airport starting at 3:00 am.

We spent only one night in this hotel as we were headed to the airport in the morning. I can tell this hotel is old but they have updated the decor some. Bathrooms look old. However, room including the bathroom were clean and comfortable enough to spend one night.

The convenience to Helsinki airport, the open layout of the breakfast room and the excellent service in the restaurant for dinner.

Too small bathroom for its price. There are not any extra toilet items (shower cap, body lotion & so on), except liquid soap.
