No food option during day and evening. The advertised lobby bar is not a bar really.
Cumulus Hakaniemi is a very nice hotel located in the center of Helsinki. The stuff is welcoming and friendly. There is a supermarket near it and a big beautiful square behind it.
very good location and easy to take bus, tram and subway to travel anywhere. The room is clean and quiet. The breakfast is good.
nothing to complain
Location, big comfortable clean room, nice bathroom, silence and quiet room, sauna in the hotel, very abundant and good breakfast, in a nice room with view on the Hakaniemi square, very helpful and kind personnel
Good location, clean spacious, comfortable room, very warm and silent, big bed, nice bathroom, very good and abundant breakfast, nice view of square from the breakfast room, excellent wifi
Nothing at all to notify
kindness of staff, all public transport just in front of the door, easy walking distance to Harbour and city center, cleaning of the room
just a little bit noisy, because of trams outside and snowplows in snowy days. breakfast is more on the "salty" side than on croissant and sweets if you only eat them
Excellent position for the metro and opposite the market place
Traffic noise was quite loud in the room
- Our room was quite big for my family. - Breakfast was good for my kid due tosome sweets such as small chocoloate doughnut
We came from the airport with bus nr.615 which stops, very conveniently, in front of the hotel. Ladies at the reception were very friendly and helpful. We booked a Superior room on the 8th floor overlooking the market square and view of the sea. Supermarket, fast food restaurants, pharmacy and the market hall right next door. Trams, busses, subway station in front of hotel. Walking distance to town center.
Water pressure on 8th floor was minimal. Someone with long hair might not get the shampoo out of the hair.Breakfast was exactly the same every day right down to the 2 same kind of ham and cheese. No egg cups - saw a guest eat the egg with fork and knife, because he didn't know, what else to do with it. The coffee at breakfast was so bad, that people left the full mugs. We learned after the 2nd day, that the coffee from the lobby was better and chose to bring that up to breakfast.
The big room
You can hear some noise from outsite
This hotel is okay as a decent priced alternative. Breakfast is okay, the room in size where okay. If you do not spend to much time on your room anyway the hotel as such is well worth trying.
The breakfast table could have had more choices.
Near to the city centre nice and clean hotel. At least rooms faced to the backyard are very silent. Good breakfast and 10 minutes walk to the main railway station.
Good location -near the metro station Hakaniemi. Tasty breakfast. Excellent sauna.
Clean, comfortable room. Good standard hotel.
Bit out of the central tourist areas. No special charm.
Cleanliness and location Breakfast was great Facilities in rooms were good.
No food offered to us when we had to check outta 6am on Sunday. I was told that the regular staff weren't there to sanction and sort this out. This was disappointing.
+ very close to the city center (about 10min walk) + comfortable bed + tasty and fresh breakfast + fast WiFi in the room
- no tea/coffee facilities in the room
Whilst the Hotel was quite minimalist in style the room was very well equipped with everything I could have needed.
I guess there could have been enough tea/coffee making facilities for more than one cup. Also I found it a bit odd that when the room was made up after our first night that the cups weren't washed up ready for use again, but these were minor points.
The Location of the hotel was good for us, because there is a big underground playroom for children, and because we were with a baby, and the weather was cold, we spend a lot of time there.
Simple breakfast Dirty room. In 4 days, they didn't clean it even once, because on the daytime our baby was sleeping, and we hanged the "do not disturb " card. We asked to clean the room before 1 p.m, but they never did it. The windows in the room don't open, and the conditioner works all the time. It was cold in the room, especially at night. And also the fire alarm lamp was right under the bed and blinked all the night. It was hard to sleep, really.
3d bed was a chair but ok!
object with a good location personnel available and helpful the room clean very tasty breakfasts
quite loud air conditioning
Good location for easy access throughout the city.
No tea/ coffee making facilities as standard in room.
The location was fantastic, close to lots of public transport and convenience. Finland was fun and this hotel was a great base to explore it.
Could have maybe a movie channel.
Location on walking distance to city center
The breakfast was crowded and at best ok.
I loved the location and the staff and the breakfast with the internet speed
there should be tea and coffee complimentary in every room
This hotel was in a good position for getting around the City. The room was clean but not too large, on our second stay our room was larger
WF11 was not the best and tea making facilities in the room would have been good.
