Radisson Blu Seaside is conveniently in the Ruoholahti business district, just over half a mile from Helsinki's main shopping and transport hubs.
Score from 2052 reviews Very good
This modern hotel is in the lively Hakaniemi district, less than a 5 minute metro ride from Helsinki Central Station. It offers free in-room wired internet and sauna access.
Score from 1069 reviews Very good
Just under a quarter of a mile from Helsinki Central Train Station and across from Kaisaniemi Metro Station, this hotel has a large breakfast buffet and 3 reserved saunas. Wi-Fi is free.
Score from 3195 reviews Good
Located right across from Helsinki Central Station, the Hotel Seurahuone’s elegant Art Nouveau building dates back to 1913.
Score from 582 reviews Very good
- central location - friendly staff - comfortable bed
- interior tired, in need of renovation - shower area in the single room very small (although great water pressure) - had to swap my (electronic) room key 5 times as it wouldn't work (apparently the proximity to mobile phones drain the magnetic field which I was not told about until the last day) - no bar or evening snacks available, only hot dogs from Reception
Great location, good value for money. Average but generous breakfast buffet, staff help us with room change without any fuzz.
Somewhat too much noise, both from outside and the air conditioning. Pillows were uncomfortable.
Location is very good. Right in the city centre. Next to Kaisaniemi metro station. There is a supermarket next door.
The bed is unconfortable. Windows cannot be opened, it don't like the fact that you can not breath fresh air. The air conditioning is always running. The shower is an open concept shower and after showering the bathroom is completely wet.
the food was wonderful for the buffet breakfast. the value was excellent and location ideal for tourists with easy access to downtown and metro
small washroom and the shower could have been a little cleaner,
Nice bathroom, excellent breakfast!
Lifts' security cards...
Perfect location, friendly staff, very good w-fi connection. Scratching my head to think of more...
Very small rooms that most probably never get fresh air, small bathroom with no separate room for shower (ending up like a lake), inadequate curtains (sun is up quite early during summer in Helsinki), rather basic breakfast (for the price you pay), no place to stop the car just for loading our luggage...
the shower is very small
Good location, very centrally located near the central station and the centre of Helsinki. Good breakfast. Everything seemed pretty clean. Check-in and check-out was super fast.
Cannot open windows Some rooms even don't have windows but still have curtains to kind of pretend to have windows. Toilet and shower in same room is not unusual, but space was rather limited, and area in front of toilet soaked after a shower, making it impossible to stay dry when entering there without shoes.
All except the location
Noise in the room ( staff gave discount when I reported), breakfasts awful, room very, very small (bathro even smaller), post communist style and ugly smell in that hotel.
The wifi was excellent and the hotel location was faultless
The hotel was very old. The room was a twin room when I requested a double. The hotel was very expensive for such an average hotel. Friends stayed in a rented apartment for half of the price and had better facilities.
Location and helpfulness of reception staff. An excellent breakfast too
Rowdy guests prevented us from sleeping on the Saturday night. Where was the Night Security?
Location is great. Breakfast is reasonable with good variety.
Hotel overbooked so had to await the no-show of others to get a room! No lobby toilet. Had to removed 30 bags and then replace them to reclaim our bags from the luggage room!
Good location, comfortable beds
Little help from the desk. No maps provided and no info on the sauna until it was too late
location great for station, nice clean mid-price hotel. nice staff
Staff very committed to assist guests; Good breakfast; Excellent location
Clean and basic hotel Relatively inexpensive Decent breakfast
Two separate beds instead of one big bed.
The location is great, with a tram stop and metro station outside the door. This is helpful for those with limited mobility. The breakfast is excellent. Good choice and wonderful porridge in particular. Staff very helpful.
The bathroom floors are a Finnish style wet-room. This can be a bit slippy for older guests. A rubber floor-mat, or a seat, or a solid rail to hold onto would be a good idea.
The hotel is quite large with a 1940s feel about it and is a few minutes walk from the railway station. It is also quite close to downtown and the market square The room was large and comfortable with a painting of clouds on the ceiling. Breakfast was excellent. One morning we had to leave before breakfast and were offered sandwiches, fruit and coffee from their cafe. All the people at reception spoke great English. The hotel had a sauna that we did not have the courage to try. Luggage can be stored in a secure room. If I come back to Helsinki, I would definitely stay here again.
The twin beds, instead of a double, but that seems common in Helsinki.
wonderful breakfast, excellent location, kind staff
the room was too small, wifi was poor
Location was perfect next to the train station; Wi-Fi excellent; Room was very clean and comfortable; breakfast was outstanding.
Convenience items in the lobby were extremely overpriced (5 Euro for a Coke...unreal).
excellent breakfast, you can leave your luggage
do not open the window
Good location, good breakfast
Internet very slow
Good location. Breakfast good.
