Score from 1979 reviews Very good
Nice bathroom, excellent breakfast!
Lifts' security cards...
the shower is very small
Good location, very centrally located near the central station and the centre of Helsinki. Good breakfast. Everything seemed pretty clean. Check-in and check-out was super fast.
Cannot open windows Some rooms even don't have windows but still have curtains to kind of pretend to have windows. Toilet and shower in same room is not unusual, but space was rather limited, and area in front of toilet soaked after a shower, making it impossible to stay dry when entering there without shoes.
The wifi was excellent and the hotel location was faultless
The hotel was very old. The room was a twin room when I requested a double. The hotel was very expensive for such an average hotel. Friends stayed in a rented apartment for half of the price and had better facilities.
location great for station, nice clean mid-price hotel. nice staff
Staff very committed to assist guests; Good breakfast; Excellent location
Clean and basic hotel Relatively inexpensive Decent breakfast
Two separate beds instead of one big bed.
The location is great, with a tram stop and metro station outside the door. This is helpful for those with limited mobility. The breakfast is excellent. Good choice and wonderful porridge in particular. Staff very helpful.
The bathroom floors are a Finnish style wet-room. This can be a bit slippy for older guests. A rubber floor-mat, or a seat, or a solid rail to hold onto would be a good idea.
The hotel is quite large with a 1940s feel about it and is a few minutes walk from the railway station. It is also quite close to downtown and the market square The room was large and comfortable with a painting of clouds on the ceiling. Breakfast was excellent. One morning we had to leave before breakfast and were offered sandwiches, fruit and coffee from their cafe. All the people at reception spoke great English. The hotel had a sauna that we did not have the courage to try. Luggage can be stored in a secure room. If I come back to Helsinki, I would definitely stay here again.
The twin beds, instead of a double, but that seems common in Helsinki.
wonderful breakfast, excellent location, kind staff
the room was too small, wifi was poor
Location was perfect next to the train station; Wi-Fi excellent; Room was very clean and comfortable; breakfast was outstanding.
Convenience items in the lobby were extremely overpriced (5 Euro for a Coke...unreal).
excellent breakfast, you can leave your luggage
do not open the window
Good location, good breakfast
Internet very slow
Good location. Breakfast good.
Location was perfect. Price OK. Room was nice for my purposes.
The building is rather old, needs restoration.
staff attitude towards guest
great location, very nice staff, good breakfast. the hotel is located very close to the central station which is very convenient if you travel by train. also it is easy to walk to the Viking Line terminal, but only if you don't have too many bags with you. otherwise it will take you just 7 mins by taxi.
2 sockets did not work - one in the room and one in a bath room. it was a pity because I was not able to charge my mobile properly. I had to use another socket while I was having my breakfast. and then I left the hotel. and had to charge the phone again in a restaurant during lunch.
good value for money.
the form of the invoice. Business requires A4 paper to be archived for 10 years.
1. Location was good. 2. Clean
1. Receptionist was not friendly 2. Overpriced. 3. Facilities not working or do not exist
Good location, walking distance from all the main attrations, metro station literally in front of the hotel. Extremely good breakfast with lots of organic and gluten free options.
Wifi doesn't work inside the room. I think it's too expensive but you have to consider it's Finland.
Great location (close to the shops, restaurants and main station) Buffet breakfast with excellent options (we loved mini sausages and Karelian pasties) We enjoyed our trip, weather was amazing so def we'll be back soon ;-))
Bathroom was very small and after shower everything was wet. We had to dry the floor with towels. WiFi was annoying and slow sometimes (we had to log on many times) Kettle - would be nice to have it there so one can make a tea when needed.
room dimension not possible to open windows shower was really uncomfortable
