We always stay at the Cumulus Hotel because we know what we are getting for the money we choose to outlay. The rooms are basic, but complete. You can count on them being clean. There is a basic tv for news and such. The bathroom and shower were good and clean. Towel service is always lacking on the weekends. Our room was on the fifth floor and the skimpy elevator only went to the fourth floor so we had to walk up 22 stairs of the final flight carrying our suitcases and other gear.

Cumulus is the only hotelchain I know of, that lets you choose the hardness/softness of your pillow. Very warm in room, and impossible to lower temperature (+25°c)

Basic hotel with suitable price level for family (4-persons room). Good enough breakfast. Hotel was flexible to shift 15min earlier starting of breakfast time by asking due to early leave. We got 4 persons room and there was nice children room just opposite of our room that was excellent for our 3 year old girl. Hotel had no own restaurant but you can reach good restaurants of next hotel without going out. Nice location near the city centre and river Aura. Also pets were allowed. Parking place was good but for extra charge. Also there were extra charge for Dog.

Hotellet var lugnt och tyst. Rummet rent och städat. Morgonmålet var mycket bra. Serveringspersonalen var vänlig och trevlig. En del av personalen i receptionen kunde inte svenska

Free internet in the room No porter to help carry luggage up the stairs. Also, room was not cleaned until we asked it to be. Parking was only available if you paid and even then it was not always free.

Saimme heti huoneen, kun saavuimme hotelliin kl 12.00 Huone kuuma, ikkunoita ei saanut auki. Ei ilmastointia. Kylpyhuone haisi kamalalle. Veden valuttaminen auttoi vain pariksi minuutiksi. Haju pilasi paljon oleskelua huoneessa.

Aamupala oli hyvä. Saunan mahdollisuus miehille ja naisille samanaikaisesti mutta eri saunoissa ja sauna aika oli riittävän pitkälle iltaan. Sauna oli lämmin ja siisti. Olin bisness tason huoneessa ja se oli kyllä pohjanoteeraus. Huone oli samanlainen kuin aina aikaisemminkin Cumuluksessa majoittuessa jopa pienempi. Sängyt ja tyynyt olivat aikansa eläneet. Nojatuolien puuttuminen on laittanut istumaan sängyllä ja sängyn jouset olivat tästä kärsineet. Lisäksi lattiassa oli jotakin mustaa tahnaa jolla sukat menivät likaiseksi. Sain sen saippuan kanssa hangattua irti lattiasta mutten suksita, miksi siivooja ei saisi töhryjä irti?

Очень дружелюбный персонал, вкусный завтрак - по-настоящему вкусный и полезный, что редкость). Чудесная ванная комната! Великолепные кровати и на удивление приятное белье (я педант). Все очень чисто, приятно, по-домашнему. Расположение самого отеля прекрасное - во-первых, даже если вы захотите сходить покушать очень поздно, как мы, а это, как известно, в Финляндии - определенная проблема, то недалеко чудесный итальянский ресторан с безумно вкусной пастой и пиццей. Если же захотите прогуляться - до реки рукой подать). Не было таких вещей, которые бы не понравились, единственное, что немного удивило - платная парковка при отеле. Видимо, в описании отеля я этого не заметила. И почему-то, несмотря на все условия - можно было подключить интернет и через кабель, и через WiFi - мне этого сделать не удалось, но я не сильно и хотела - может, стоило быть понастойчивее).
