good price, location
not clean and neat as expected
location, friendly staffs, clean,
a little noisy Wifi wasn't free
The shared kitchens - good for meeting people. The location - on the #4 tram line or a walk from the main railway station, and a short walk from the fishermans wharf market and ferry terminals. Very professional and helpful staff. A quiet residential neighbourhood with great Art Deco architecture all around. Opportunity for discounted stays for frequent users booking on their website.
it can get noisy at night with some groups partying (though this is rare) the shared bathrooms might not appeal to all (but they are clean and modern)
The hostel is situated 50m from a tram stop to the city center, it takes about 5min ride. The common bathroom is very nice and equiped with hair dryer. There is a small restaurant downstairs which offers very good deals. Superb staff
Wi-fi is not included in the price
good location near tram stop, tram provides fast connection with the city center, railway station and bus station, close to port, noiseless neighborhood
The staff were articulate and professional , the price was good concerning what an expensive city Helsinki is
Having to pay for the internet . The breakfast was a bit overpiced
The price, clean, quiet, well positioned
Breakfast too expensive for the quality offered, didn't clean the bath to good
cheap acceptable position friendly staff
1.I was asked to fill a questionnaire with my personal details (nationality, home address....) which I find ridiculous 2.isolation is bad 3.internet cost 2€ per day 4.the refrigerator was smelling bad the free sauna hours are inconvenient
The system of organizing and management.
The kitchen is nice but need some renovation,it was smelly
This hostel is ideal if You are attending the Marina Congress Center or You are about to travel with a ferry. The location is not very far from the city center as well - about 20 - 30 minutes by foot. The personel is friendly (You can even buy the day tickets there), the bathroom is freshly renovated and You can listen to the bird song records. The breakfast is also good- I was very satissfied.
The pillow was old, made of synthetic materials which had become bumpy - as soon as my head touched it I understood that it will not work (I will strongly advise to take Your own pillow from home). The sheet of my friend was dirty.
6€ beers in the pub + restaurant are killer. Cheaper prices would fill the place up
the poor comfort , the payment for tv
Location, cleanliness, music in the bathroom !!! (Very zen)
To have to pay 2 euros for the internet and have to enter each time I log, the user name and the password..., The prices at the restaurant. There is also a need for a shelf in the shower in order to be able to put somewhere the key, glasses, or anything else personnal that we don't want to be all wet but nearby.
The location near the city center, free sauna in the morning.
Quiet room in 6th floor slept well nice location at the harbour and short walking distance to the city center
Nice, clean hostel in a beautiful location. Free morning sauna is a plus!
There was no free Wi-Fi. The staff was rather indifferent.
Location is great, and breakfast (not included) is not bad either. Room was ok and clean, but spartian comfort ;)
Cleaning of shared bathrooms should be done more often, especially toilets. 1 cleaning a day when there are only 2 toilets (by gender) for the whole floor is really poor.
Nice clean rooms, free sauna in the morning. Very quiet. Breakfast at reasonable price.
Maybe just a little to far from the city center.
That hostel not looks like other hostels. I rather call it 2,5-star hotel. There are perfect location near the Kauppatori, tram-stop and bicycle-rent, actually good-looking bathroom and toilet. Buffet breakfast is not too diverse, but buffet is always good, if you know what I mean.
WiFi not for free! We are living in 2014, prove me wrong. So what the problem?
very good place to start to see history center of Helsinki/ Not fat from central station. If you have fly in airport Helsinki-Vantaa, there is bus to central station from airport.
there are no conditioner and it was very hot in the night
Second time in this hostel and will repeat without doubt. Is near the centre, 100metres from Viking Line, large bedrooms, good equiped kitchen in all floors... The are only 3 showers per sx per floor, but I didn't have to wait.
Cleanliness and facilities were top
The windows opened only a few cms and the room gets stuffy and hot due to lack of ventilation in summer.
Great location if you arrived in Helsinki by viking line. Free sauna in the morning Nothing else
extremely poor kitchen!!!!!! No free wifi location basically need extra money with everything.
