Friendly stuff, a few steps from the city center but in a quite place.

No negative aspects.

Мы хотели заказать номер с балконом (таких в отеле всего два), но выбрали номер «люкс» с выходом во дворик отеля, т.к. номер с балконом был занят. Через 2-3 часа после заказа на сайте сотрудник отеля перезвонил и предложил выбор из имеющихся номеров, что очень понравилось. Другие «плюсы»: отель находится в центре старого города, недалеко от набережной и парка Эспланады и Хельсинская обсерватория. Рядом супермаркет и алкогольный супермаркет. В отеле очень качественный персонал. В номере было все, что было обещано на сайте. В дворике отеля можно курить и отдыхать за столиками. Мы приехали поздно, но нас накормили горячими бутербродами.

К «минусам» в нашем случае можно отнести: 1) Номер «люкс с выходом во дворик» значительно отличался от «люкса» с фото. Этот номер значительно меньше по размеру, имеет сложную продолговатую форму, часть площади отведено для гардеробной, что делает его визуально еще меньше. Фактически, всю его площадь занимает кровать, на небольшом расстоянии от которой находятся: кухонный уголок, телевизор, закуток для письменного стола и три двери - в маленькую туалетную с душем, гардеробную и выход во дворик. Ванны нет. «Выход во дворик» означал «вход со двора», который совмещен с небольшим окном. Дизайн номера создается ощущение «холодности», он не сильно отличается от дизайна туалета. В номере не было тапочек, а пол в комнате прохладный и сделан из керамической плитки. Кондиционер центральный и не регулируется. Дворик отеля очень маленький с видом на стены и соседние дома, для уменьшения обзора извне, приходилось закрывать окно и дверь портьерами – получалось, что в номере вообще нет окна. 2) Двери «люксов» 102 и 104 находятся так близко друг к другу, что если открыт один из номеров, то невозможно зайти в соседний. 3) На завтраке действительно тесновато, и кроме каши, нет других горячих блюд. 4) Окна и двери «люксов» 102 и 104 просто упираются в окна веранды (расстояние не больше 1 м.), на которой завтракают или пьют чай постояльцы. Суммируя все вышесказанное можно предположить, что этот отель для тех, кто приходит только ночевать и не слишком обращает внимание на условия и дизайн. Тогда и нет необходимости для проживания в «люксах» первого этаже (которые значительно дороже других номеров), правда, если Вы не курите)))

Small hotel; good-quality breakfast; nice clean room; friendly staff

Fabian is located in a very beautiful and quiet district. Our room was spacious, cozy, with pleasant design. The staff is very friendly.

The reception area is too small (we had to wait for checking-in outside, because all space was already been occupied by 4 persons and their luggage).

it was comfortable and well located for a helsinki weekend. The price was reasonable and good compared for value.

the turning on and off of the light was a bit complicated (maybe I am a little old fashioned ?)

Internet is free and you can connect all your devices at the same time with a password.

There was a smell from sewage.No slippers in the room.Breakfast is not rich.

I liked everything about this hotel. Hotel location was good, reception people were kind and welcoming, and room was very stylish. Highly recommended.

Cosy atmosphere, attentive staff, well thought-through details in all facilities. All you need for a city trip to the Finnish capital. The rooms are very tastefully furnished, elegant and stylish in Scandinavian design. Breakfast buffet in a home-like kitchen...lovely!

No evening snack in house. Nearest restaurant is literally around the corner though.

Delicate breakfast cooked in breakfast room! Good service for handicapped people.

This hotel lived up to previous rave reviews we had read. We had a very comfortable and spacious room with, unexpectedly, a king size bed. (Perhaps we'd been upgraded?) Good tv, great wifi, plenty of towels, interesting design touches with the furnishing. Good quality carpet in the room and corridors and thick walls and doors make the rooms very quiet. Breakfast was a quality continental buffet, constantly replenished, including porridge which was delicious and satisfied our liking for something hot. The setting is pleasant with a conservatory annex next to the courtyard. The hotel is just a few minutes walk to the harbour and the esplanade and the design district, so well located. On top of these excellent features, the staff were superb. Nothing was too much bother and they proffered ideas and assistance in anticipation of our request. Suggestions for restaurants, help with ordering 'home delivery' food for us to eat in our room, having plates and utensils ready when the food was delivered, ordering airport taxi etc, and of course fluent English. All the staff we dealt with were equally excellent.

Nothing! Although if pushed to think of something, perhaps the room was warmer than we prefer and the windows don't open.

Small boutique hotel, very nice. No wellness or big bar, but absolutely not expected. Rooms are big and very nice as well.

Gorgeous beds, nice design, very friendly staff, convenient location, lovely breakfasts. It's now our favorite hotel in Helsinki :)

There's no omlet/scrambled eggs in breakfast menu, boiled eggs only, no restaurant in hotel (therefore, you can't order dinner in your room), only snacks in lobby.

Good hotel at a good price (for Helsinki). Room nicelt decorated, great bed.

Room was cold and AC made the air dry. Receptionist was not replying the phone as he was also bar tending. The staff has an attitude... Breakfast area within the lobby. Last year stayed here and I was impressed, but this year was not the same...

One of the most beautiful hotels in Helsinki. For it's price, may be, the best one. Superior rooms: design, equipment, all new, warm in the room all the night Very attentive and pleasant staff. Delicious breakfast. All good.

The view from the windows to the streets only, but that's a bit. Also Fabian would like to run it's own restaurant one day.
