Hotel GLO

The hotel was trendy without being pretentious the staff were friendly and the location was perfect. The rooms were large and comfortable

Location, price for a Nordic country (not cheap, but cheaper and better than what I found here in Oslo and Stockholm), excellent quality of rooms and breakfast

The air conditioning couldn't be turned off, nor the windows could be opened

Staff were extremely helpful and professional in all interactions. There was a sense in which everyone went out of their way to ensure guests were welcome and any requests were addressed efficiently and cheerfully. I was impressed with the level of personal individualised service offered by every staff member.

I think bundling the freely available TV service with movies on demand was ill advised. Charging for new release and adult movies is acceptable, but CNN and local TV should be standard.

The location was great and the room was extremely spacious.

Breakfast a bit chaotic - too many customers in too small a space, waiting around for odd shortages (forks, bread etc) to be remedied. Choice and quality limited.

Well the breakfast was a bit caotic, but I don't know if it was bcause of too many guests at a time or to few staff. At my last stay this was no trouble at all.

An excellent choice if you are looking for a small luxury hotel in the middle of Helsinki, everything is nearby. Deluxe room was so spacious with wooden floor. Air quality felt very good, even for allergic people, we did not get any symptoms at all. In addition, such a quiet location, located on a promenade.

Air condition was a little bit noisy and there were some minor stains, especially in the bathroom. Staff was friendly, but did not say always hello when people where going and coming.

Rooms are beautifully decorated, just like the pictures on the website. The hotel has an excellent location downtown, within walking distance of just about anything a tourist or shopper might want.

There could be some more effort put into cleanliness in the rooms as well as in the restaurant and lobby. I would rate this hotel as a good 3*, but not 4*.
