Near an unspoiled beach in the Vuosaari district, this hotel is a 20-minute drive from central Helsinki. Its rooms offer beautiful views of the surrounding forest or the Baltic Sea.
Score from 567 reviews Very good
Located among Espoo’s nature and Korpilampi pond, this hotel is a quarter mile from Serena Water Park. It features 3 saunas and rooms with a flat-screen TV. Both Wi-Fi and parking are free.

This waterfront hotel is in a quiet, green district, a 10 minute drive from central Helsinki. It offers free gym, sauna and pool access, a restaurant and a private beach.
Score from 1215 reviews Excellent
Good choice all round. Quiet but closer enough to town than. Good value for money compare to what is obtainable in the city centre. Nearly all buses from town plight this route, which is quite amazing
Coming from town (bus), and as a first timer, especially late at night, it's a little difficult to locate the hotel.
The ethos, art, architecture and setting for this place were fascinating and spectacular. Free bike usage and excellent breakfasts.
Can't think of a thing, but we did have a hire car.
Large comfortable rooms; very helpful and friendly staff; excellent breakfast and dinner; toys for young children in the spacious dining room; fabulous views over the archipelago and a lovely walk around the hotel; interesting art collection and library
Some of the facilities felt a bit 'institutional', i.e. catering for away days for groups rather than for individuals; we had hoped to use the pool with our grand daughter when we arrived but we had not been forewarned that the pool could be pre-booked for private use only by groups in the afternoon and evening. This was disappointing. The road signs to the hotel were not very clear
Good hotel, nice surroundings, 10 mt to Helsinki, Scandinavia design in rooms.
I was there for 1 night, so I haven't seen some bad things
It was quiet and the room was really nice. Pool and sauna made our stay relaxing.
The room could've been cleaner.
Staff very friendly, room good size and clean + airco. Hotel is very dogfriendly, which was for me the most important as I was visiting Helsinki for the worlddogshow.
Restaurant could have better menu card.
Lovely big room with air conditioning, luxurious bed Excellent sauna & pool area Very good breakfast
Perfectly friendly staff always ready to help with all the problems. Great location, quiet and easy to reach by car.
Proximity to good walking and cycling areas, right on the harbour. By the end of day 1 I was completely relaxed. Staff were vey helpful especially with cycle routes and dining options.
The restaurant was closed on Sunday night.
The hotel has been recently renovated. Double room is designed with king size bed overlooking the sea.Higly recomended to stay in.
The hotel is beautifully located near the Baltic sea, and has also very quick (12 minutes) access to the Helsinki downtown area.
Bus connection from the Hotel to Helsinki is fast and easy.
Ideal economy business hotel. Been here a couple of times and will be back. A car is recommended.
Amazing view of the sea from the room window Artistic, sculptures scattered everywhere
In some ways it seems a bit retro/outdated, i.e. the interior decoration of the rooms When we arrived in July it seemed deserted, only one girl at the reception and no other guests or staff to be seen, the restaurant was closed
Breakfast could be better.
Beautiful scenery abounds and one has the opportunity to take many nice strolls.
1) great view from window 2) fantastic Staff - very helpful and polite 3) low prices 4) free sauna & pool
The location can't be beat! Kaunis ja Rauhalllinnen -"beautiful and peaceful". And only a 10 minute bus ride from downtown Helsinki! Also, very friendly staff and very good value for the money.
The restaurant could use some improvement -especially for the evening meal. Breakfast was OK, but we've had better.
The hotel is next to a lake. The scenery is beautiful and the atmosphere is calm and peaceful. One feels absolutely relaxed by so close to the nature. The hotel front lawns are decorated by some interesting sculpture. The design of the hotel space is pleasant. The staff are very friendly. It is located mid way between Helsinki city centre and Espoo. With the buses one could reach both ways pretty easily. The buses were amazingly punctual.
The breakfast could have been better by providing more options, though in generally it was still satisfying.
The hotel felt very homely and the room very comfortable.
The wifi was a little slow sometimes.
biking around, freequent buses
Very good breakfast / restaurant. Good selection of TV-channels. The room had a nice sea view.
REALLY bad Wi-Fi... extremely slow speeds (~0.5 Mbit/s peak download speed) and a firewall that crippled outgoing connections by blocking most non-standard port numbers. Worst I've experienced in any Helsinki hotel so far. Not recommended for anyone travelling for business and needing to access resources elsewhere via VPN, SSH, etc. Also the bathroom was never properly cleaned while I was there... the toilet bowl was dirty and they didn't change the towel after the first night... The room was quite spartan, and the bed was quite small (~90cm in width, single room) compared to other hotels, but that's no big issue for me.
Comfortable hotel, quiet place, nice view and only 7 min. by bus to city centre. Maybe best location in Helsinki.
Very friendly staff, I was served very early breakfast, thanks! Also the surroundings on the little peninsul are wonderful. I had view to sunset! And not many hotels have their own library - mostly in Finnish and Swedish, but you could find also English titles there. And I should also mention the poster exhibition...
A bit worn out feeling of corridors, however I understand some renovations are on the way.
