This excellently positioned hotel made us feel most welcome. The staff were all highly professional, obliging and friendly. The designers show an eye for detail and an appreciation of the needs of international travellers. This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in.
The room and bathroom, very nice ans cosy, location is just perfect, staff is friendly... For me the best hotel in Helsinki
Could not get a late check-out... But it happens...
If you want a place to stay in central Helsinki this is a Great spot!!
Staff are friendly and service is efficient
Great Staff, decoration, they have good options of restaurants to have dinner,
We would like a queen bed but they insist to put to beds together...
Staff especially front desk and waiters
Location. Excellent room, good size, comfortable. Very good breakfast. Havis restaurant very good. Generally, a very nice atmosphere.
perfect place,fine terrace, fine restaurants
Location, cleanliness, beds.
Room service was poor (I was travelling with a dog, so I used it a lot). Not possible to get a soft boiled egg whether I chose 4 or 7 minutes - it was served raw (the white not cooked) and cold! The door knob fell of one of the cabinet doors, but couldn't be fixed till Monday (I was there Friday till Monday) so had to pry the door open using my fingernails. I had advised that I was travelling with a crutch and a broken leg - but I had to carry my own luggage up. My room was placed as far from the elevator, as at all possible! Service was, generally speaking not what you expect of a 5 Star Hotel. There was a water kettle in the room - if you wanted coffee or tea you could call and they'd bring you a teabag for 5 euros! Room service was 10 or 20 euros extra depending on the meal! I was not impressed with this hotel and I would not stay there again!
Haven's location is perfect and we really enjoyed the view to the sea. The breakfast is really enjoyable and the service is great. The best thing about Haven is its special, wonderful atmosphere - once you experience it, you'll always want to return.
Excellent breakfast Very quiet Location Neutral but comfortable decor Inhouse restaurant (Havis)
Glass sliding door to the bathroom (Style Room) gives very little privacy. Personally I would prefer a normal door.
Good food, great location, staff very pleasant
Squeaky floors, lack of seating in the room
The best hotel I've stayed in in Helsinki!
Breakfast, location, bar,
A/c system a bit weak given the heat in helsinki.
the cozinness of the room, the wonderful views with our paid upgrade, the top notch staff at front desk, so knowledgeable and friendly, the breakfast room
Nothing, I've been there last year but my husband had not .. he thought was fantastic too
The room, the location, the staff, the bath products, the decor, the bed.
The issue with watching a movie, the breakfast buffet could be a little more extensive.
Left hotel early morning to catch early flight, reception even prepared me some croissants and coffee: great service !
My son and I shared a room that was toward the back of the hotel. It was nice and quiet. Liked the black-out curtains - they worked very well to keep the summer sunlight out.
My parents had a room facing the road (hotel's entrance). They could hear a lot of traffic noise.
Enough for me
Quiet rooms, excellent bed and bathroom
Bad view but staff were fantastic !
Brick wall view
Wonderful room, great location.
A wonderful hotel with great location and walking distance to everything Helsinki has to offer - and bikes for use in a city very amenable to biking. Great, attentive service and a spectacular restaurant.
A very good location, a silent street. Close to the main sights. Clean and cosy room, a big bathroom, nice and soft beds. A good Finnish breakfast in the inner yard's restaurant, a very pleasant place.
Cleanliness of a 5-star-hotel should be on a higher level, than here. Bed linen and towels were clean. But, for example, there was a big smudge on the carpet right near the bed. Bathroom was good, clean (the bathtube itself, towels, sink). But the brush for the toilet bowl was unclean (and remaind unclean my whole stay). Toilet paper reel was already started by a previous guest (not a 5-star-tradition). Bathrobe had a torn hanging loop (also strange for 5 stars). But those are all details, generally the hotel is very good.
The location right on the harbour with loots of restaurants nearby. The restaurant Havis in the hotel was excellent Accommodating staff
Despite a welcoming note from the manager welcoming us for our anniversary - they said Bookings.com only reserved the room for one so we had to pay additional $ as well the price was higher for the weekends which was not our understanding
