the view and the location.
The staff. they are not nice with you, i stayed 20 nights they stil not treating me well.
Breakfast was good
Hotel is tired looking and corny. Bed was really hard. The sauna was seperate for women and men. I would give this hotel 3* not more.
everything is perfect!
Room is not warm enough
The hotel offers a perfect getaway for anybody who wants to take a break from the rush of everyday city life. It's located right on a picturesque shore of the gulf and the views from the front windows, overlooking the water are truly breathtaking. We had originally booked a regular room but the hotel thoughtfully upgraded it at no additional cost, so we could enjoy a spectacular waterfront right in front of us. I'd also like to stress out an impeccable service both at the reception and at the restaurant during breakfast. Having a car we had no problems getting around, besides the hotel has free parking which was ample. We wish we could stay at this hotel longer and will certainly come back again.
Our only admonition would apply to some excessive wear and tear that clearly shows on the corridors' rugs, service doors and some other spots. From one hand, the hotel definitely needs some TLC, with a major overhaul sometime later in the future, from another - for the price they charge, this may not be such a big issue.
Located in wonderful parkland surroundings, services and facilities are great.
Charging 15$ per bathrobe, or 10$ for WiFi service (granted us free because of the "holiday season") definitely undermines this hotel's wonderful surroundings and perfect individual service
Surroundings, quiet yet easy accessable place not far from the city centre.. Good breakfast.
How many stars do you claim to have ? Not too much luxury for 5 ,almost satisfactory for 4 :)
poor breakfast - not smoked or salty salmon. Not liquid soap in the bathroom.
Location is splendid
The hotel did "forget" that I requested an anti-allergi room.
Tidy in and out, sound breakfast, caring personnel.
Having to always move with a room card, even in sauna :)
- verry helpfull staff - Beautifull, at the border of the sea - Good facilities
- expensive kitchen
Quiet, nice place, great view (sea side), clean, excellent staff. Many free parking places.
The staff were fabulous. Breakfast service was professional.
Access to pull the drapes was a bit tricky because there was a heavy sofa in front of the window. One needs to climb onto the seat of the sofa.
Liked the friendly staff and cosy rooms. Excellent sauna and pool. Will definitely be coming back to visit again!
it's a perfect place to leave back the rat-race of the city and have a quiet weekend with a view on the still waters of the lake. Comfortable rooms and good breakfast.
Unfortunately the pool and the saunas are not open around the clock, but have a limited opening time.
restaurant quality and service size of room big shower and bathtube available
shower cabin leakage to the floor everything was wet
sunset view at pool side
hotel staff were too cool
Flexibility of staff for particular requests, the several saunas, the splendid king size bed, the quality breakfast, the bicycles, the quiet
The bathroom cleanliness (toilet smelled, various marks here and there), this might be down to. The hotel could be a bit closer to the town (about 40 mins cycling to reach it). There was a fair amount of ground/sand in the inside swimming pool.
The hotel was located quiet and beautiful place, and not far way from the city center. We enjoyed our stay quite much.We enjoyed both sunrise and sunset at hotel. Room was quite comfortable and clean. There is a sauna. I could enjoy meeting and talking with other customers there, too. One of the precious memories for us.
When I book through booking.com, I will not get my loyalty points from Hilton HHonors. Please be aware. Not a very clever policy I'm afraid. Seems to be too much greed in the channels right now.
Everything is perfect.
The front desk forgot to add my HHonors membership number in the payment. Could they add it later on?
Breakfast was good and room service fast. Location has beautiful grounds to go for a walk, nice scenery and parks.
Lady in reception was pretentious and arrogant, didn't make me feel welcomed. Room had an odd smell, doors didn't close without forcing. Bathroom had dirty corners. I expected more.
Nothing...just ok. It looked better on the pictures. Never be fooled be it.
Terrible view from the room. Even the best view from the restaurant was not that beutiful.
free rental bike nice location
We stayed in a deluxe King room with a view for two nights in the beginning of August and enjoyed wonderful summer weather. The huge window opened to the sea and we could enjoy both beautiful sunsets as well as the rising moon. The room was very nicely appointed, clean, quiet and the bed very comfortable. The staff at reception was very friendly. Breakfast buffet was served in another building and was really good with a huge choise of warm and cold foods. The hotel has its own little beach adjacent to a public beach. There is also a small swimming pool and sauna. There were courses offered for windsurfing and paddling. Location is really nice on the coast away from the city center yet not far. You can make nice walks along the coast or lend bikes and bike along the coastline even all the way to the city which has safe bikeways all over. Outdoor museum-island Seurasaari is at a walking distance. A tram stop is close by if you want to visit the city with publich transportation. Wifi worked well. There was a coffee/tea making possibility in the room.
The restaurant has magnificent views to the sea, however, it is totally overpriced and the portions are so ridiculously small that you can get angry. The service was also poor. It is convenient to eat at the hotel but not worth the money. The whirlpool was no longer in use.
The viewing to the lake is Wow
