Flexibility of staff for particular requests, the several saunas, the splendid king size bed, the quality breakfast, the bicycles, the quiet
The bathroom cleanliness (toilet smelled, various marks here and there), this might be down to. The hotel could be a bit closer to the town (about 40 mins cycling to reach it). There was a fair amount of ground/sand in the inside swimming pool.
The hotel was located quiet and beautiful place, and not far way from the city center. We enjoyed our stay quite much.We enjoyed both sunrise and sunset at hotel. Room was quite comfortable and clean. There is a sauna. I could enjoy meeting and talking with other customers there, too. One of the precious memories for us.
free rental bike nice location
We stayed in a deluxe King room with a view for two nights in the beginning of August and enjoyed wonderful summer weather. The huge window opened to the sea and we could enjoy both beautiful sunsets as well as the rising moon. The room was very nicely appointed, clean, quiet and the bed very comfortable. The staff at reception was very friendly. Breakfast buffet was served in another building and was really good with a huge choise of warm and cold foods. The hotel has its own little beach adjacent to a public beach. There is also a small swimming pool and sauna. There were courses offered for windsurfing and paddling. Location is really nice on the coast away from the city center yet not far. You can make nice walks along the coast or lend bikes and bike along the coastline even all the way to the city which has safe bikeways all over. Outdoor museum-island Seurasaari is at a walking distance. A tram stop is close by if you want to visit the city with publich transportation. Wifi worked well. There was a coffee/tea making possibility in the room.
The restaurant has magnificent views to the sea, however, it is totally overpriced and the portions are so ridiculously small that you can get angry. The service was also poor. It is convenient to eat at the hotel but not worth the money. The whirlpool was no longer in use.
The viewing to the lake is Wow
Exactly what you would expect from a Hilton. Nice rooms, clean and spacious. A little bit outside the centre but next to the tram stop.
Price of a drink.
Fairytale-like surroundings, sea, trees, calmness, silence and generally relaxed atmosphere.
Don't expect any sights, pubs, bars or basically anything in the vicinity of the hotel. You must use tram or bus to get to the city centre (
Room good. Restaurant excellent. View gorgeous. Very close to tram No.4 and 4T for easy ride into the city cente. Good staff.
Very slow to get the room cleaned and serviced.
Food, room, room service, the view
Blankets fell out from the sheets all the time, there wasn't anything to wipe the floors in the bathroom which was kind of annoying cuz the floors got wet very easily.
nach der Sauna direkt ins Meer
I brought a guest, booked seaside king rooms, reception said that there is a mix up, no sea view but they will compensate. We brought the guest to their room, which was very small with forest view. Went to our room which was presidential suite, excellent. Called my guest that there was a misstake and we should change the rooms, they didnt want to. Later on found out that also the tv in their room didnt work. I hope I dont loose this friendship becouse of this...
Quiet location next to the beautiful lake, perfect if you travel with pets. Breakfast was good
Dirty showers, glasses were not washed (lipstick from previous guests); in fact no good A/C system (there's a central cooling system, you can change temperature only for few degrees, no remote control. For us was too hot to sleep in the room). Definitely didn't feel like a 5 star hotel. I would give 3+ or 4 stars max.
Peaceful place just 10 min away from the city center.
The sauna and interesting company. The pool and view of the lake/sea. Surrounding area for walks and tram location. Free wifi in lobby.
The free wifi signal was very weak in the room. The price of meals.
Very nice breakfast. Excellent location at the seaside. Very proffesional staff.
The extra bed was uncomfortable compared to the queen bed!
A/C was not working, and the window was not designed to be open, we could not sleep there, it was late July, hot summer time. Also, surprisingly, for a 5* hotel in a beach/seaside, they do not sell swimming suits, suntan protection, or other beach leisure stuff, and we were advised to visit one of the city center shopping malls (~4-5 km away) to buy swimming suites.
Check in- accomodation- personal while check in
I`v made an online reservation via booking.com requesting for bike (rental) reserving (was offered for free). After perfect check in and dressing + shower I wanted to cycle into town to a "privat" business meeting (before I checked out the transport facilities- short explaining: Lumia 930 here tranport best solution: bicycle). After requesting for the reserved cycle I got the answer: "Sorry, all bicycles are in use, you have to wait 'till one is vacant". Remembering your staff that I reserved a cycle was the answer: " Sorry, probably there had been a mistake". That was all- no solution for a problem I did not cause. So I had to change my time table (thank you lumia 930) to reach in time the first sauna meeting concerning the foundation of a new company between suomi and germany. I am satisfied for the answer why my reservation failed, but concerning your improvement i would suggest giving the guests a solution for their occurring problem... Bur all in all i would come back next time and recommend your hotel, if my critic will be answered personally. THANK YOU Erkki Böncke Consultant and Quality Manager Project "Service Quality Germany"
Excellent service and comfort. Friendly and open-minded staff.
The location offers the best of Finland very near to the centre: the sea, a beach, parks and walking paths. Very nicely spacious room and good breakfast.
Wonderful hotel! Staff very friendly and great facilities! Only downside is hotel wasn't centrally located, but it was a quick tram ride to the city center. Tram stop was a couple short blocks from hotel.
Situation close to beach and town
Lack of air conditioning, small bath
The beach, sauna, parking access
malfunction of AC
Many guest arrived with dogs..bad timing for people who dont expect a dog in the room next
Everything was great! We spent a good time in this hotel and it's beautiful surroundings. Though we didn't have enough time to use all the facilities such as tennis court and paddle surfing. So, we wish we would return there.
My friends told me that there was crowdy in the sauna in the evening. But I went there in the morning and it was OK.
