Score from 566 reviews Very good
This modern hotel is in the lively Hakaniemi district, less than a 5 minute metro ride from Helsinki Central Station. It offers free in-room wired internet and sauna access.
Score from 1065 reviews Very good
Superb indoor rooftop swimmingpool, nice view, convenient location
Selection of newspapers, sauna opening-hours
Really nice hotel with good location, high comfort, and very good service.
Beds were a little too hard for my taste and there was only free wifi in the lobby.
Good location, great breakfest, quiet, big rooms, pool and sauna, gym, terrace with view to sea. Everything great.
The design and colors in the room were pretty repelling. I
Small room with some damage and old fixtures
The location is very good, only a short 10-15 min walk to the central Helsinki sights (Senate Square, Esplandi, etc). Staff were extremely courteous and efficient throughout the stay, room was clean, comfortable and had a nice view of the bay. Breakfast was also quite good.
Charging 10 euros per day extra for internet access in rooms is ridiculous. It should be made available to guests free of charge.
Room was spacious and comfortable with good facilities, bathroom functional and clean if a little dated. Great views over the water and very quiet. Good choice for breakfast, nice atmosphere.
Very busy at breakfast, staff struggled to clean tables and seat guests.
Old Hotel with smell ... better to avoid it
Location, good breakfast, clean and comfortable
not enough bikes - I marked when booking that I would like to make an reservation for my stay two bikes - during our visit there was never available bike and there was impossible to make an reservation of the bike - for me and my wife it was important to have a bike and it was not nice surprise for us
Hotel is from the 70. and not renovated No comfort, very small rooms. No free WLAN in the rooms.
Good size room, good location in Helsinki
Paying for wifi, Hotel a bit dated in places in need of decoration but good atmosphere
We travelled with dogs and got treated excellent at the hotel. We will recommend the hotel for other friends/guest travelling with animals. Thanks :)
It would have been nice with an elevator from the parkingarea under the hotel.
Food, location, facilities and comfort. Loved it.
Swimming pool was a bit small and cold.
Everything was first-class.
you could open the windows big enough rooms comfortable beds
carpets on the floor (I am a bit allergic towards dust)
Got a free upgrade due to not having a king room available, use of exec club. Staff really good
Free Bicycle service was quite good but there were only two bikes available, they should increase this number and upgrade the bicycles with better ones
It was very quiet.
Not enough bicycles for hire
Standard two beds room, clean and functional Room overlooking the canal
Breakfast not that great, usual stuff but nothing out of the ordinary at 15€ it is expensive
Swimming pool (water) at the spa was so cold!!!!!
We liked the location being right next to the hip Kallio area while also being a 10 minutes walk away from the city center. The breakfast was okay too, serving lots of fruits and vegetables. And we appreciated being able to use the pool, gym and sauna without extra charges.
The rooms are a bit old and the entire hotel looks like it is still stuck in the 60s. And unfortunately there is only free wifi in the lobby.
This hotel is very nice, we felt good here. I loved the spa facilities. Swimming pool is on top floor- beautiful room with open access to an outside veranda from which there is an incredible view of Baltic sea. Plenty of towels, some water toys for kids and area is clean. No whirpool. There is a ladies sauna and gentlemen sauna -those are free ( pool is also free), but you can also book a private sauna ( they have 2 of those). The sauna was very clean and also with access to an outside veranda which I loved, to cool down after sauna. Very nice, I really enjoyed that and it would be a reason why I would come back to this hotel. Our room was nice and clean AND quiet ! We got good sleep. We changed our double room plus to a single because we wanted a balcony. Important to me, I like fresh air. Mini bar was there but very expensive ( 6 euro for 500ml water bottle). Breakfast was included ( I think you need to check your rate, not necessarily is included). Breakfast was just ok. Location is excellent, walk to the Senate square in under 10 minutes, ferry terminal 15 minutes. Surrounded by water, lots of greenery around, excellent for walks. Front desk staff was very helpful. I would come back, we had very nice time thanks to our choice to stay here.
The carpets could be maintained better - I did not feel they were clean. Breakfast - complimentary, but tasteless. Beans, Eggs, Potatoes, Sausages, Bacon were the choices, all of it tasteless. I would not come here for lunch or dinner. However abundance of fresh fruit, veggies and juices made up for it. Also - WIFI is 10 euro/day in room - should be free. Mini bar - overpriced - 6 euro for 500 ml of water is just too much.
