Friendly Helpful and Knowledgeable Staff
The fact that WiFi wasn't free in the room. Paid Wifi was so expensive, that I bought a Prepaid Sonera is the best for Coverage, DNA is the best value for money. DNA has terrible coverage outside the cities.
Sauna and swimming pool are closed for renovation. There is no info about it at booking.com
location: good for walking to town/catching public transport; breakfast: extensive & delicious; bed: warm & cosy, sauna: good, clean facilities; pool: cool & refreshing after sauna.
old, small tv - badly positioned for viewing; 16 EUR charge for movie channels;10 EUR charge for bedroom WI-FI; gym was being refurbished at the time of our stay.
Everything were good, the room was clean and comfortable. We got a room with sea-view and it was very nice. The breakfast is also good and you find almost everything that you need. A huge plus is also that the bathtub has jacuzzi function.
You can see that the hotel is a little bit old but it is very clean and comfortable so for us it were no problem that the furniture are old looking. The WiFi is not free in the room that is a minus.
This Hilton has always been really dog friendly and my dog got some services too. :)
Good Lounge Great staff, able to sort out problems quickly and efficiently. Good fitness and sauna area
The hotel is a little dated from design but this is balanced by the excellent service.
Location is perfect, there is supermarket near the hotel and bus/tram station. The swimming pool and sauna are free of charge. Very cozy lobby bar. Good prices for stayng in the hotel. In general good place to stay some days.
The furniture is quite old, very dirty carpet, shelfs are dusty. The prices in the restorant are quite high. Wifi is not included in prices for the room.
cood sleep, nice view, clean room
Littlebit old and tired interior, garbagepin was full of garbage from last guests.
bed and breakfast , location
Staff is wonderful, all friendly and helpful. Room is nicely furnished, even a comfy chair. Enough cupboards and drawers to store everything we carried. Breakfast is fine. Dinner is excellent. The bar (and its staff) is excellent, with a nice selection of drinks. The open elevators with glass walls are a thing of beauty, and the architecture of the main hall make every elevator ride very nice. Internet connection is very good, both wired and wireless. The view over the water is lovely. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood.
Bed could be a bit bigger (we are both 1m90+), but mattrass and pillows are comfy. Swimming pool is shallow, short and narrow, there are no showers or lockers, but it is just a big bonus to have a swimming pool.
Everything,We are travelling around the world and have stayed in over thirty hotels this was absolutely the best large hotel of the lot.Not a new hotel but one which has been very well looked after and everything worked. The staff are to be congratulated on their impeccable service. My husband took sick and they were very hospitable especially after our checkout time.
Very comfortable beds, great view to the baltic sea in Plus rooms, good breakfast, close to the city center and just a few steps to the Hakaniemi market with fresh fish/seafood/meat.
1 time housemaid forgot to clean full trash can in the bathroom. Except this everything was great.
The hotel level of cleanliness is superb , breakfast was very good and sleep was great!
Some hotel's staff was rude and uncooperative and wifi is chargeable in rooms!
The breakfest was very expensive.
Hotel & Room design Breakfast Location Very helpful staff
Air Conditioning cant be turned off Wallpaper in my room was damaged a bit
breakfast not so good
Close to a good market while the city centre and harbour were easily reached by tram, using the Helsinki card. Good breakfast.
Wi-fi available in lobby only.
It is a pity that an extra ten E per day is charged for the wifi. It is quite unexpected and disappointed, especially, since we are talking about a name like Hilton.
location (close to the center, 10min by walking, 3 min by bike); bike rental; good breakfast; nice elevator ;); very climatic swimming pool; great view for the lake; nice surroundings; someone who cleaned my room even 'composed' up my cosmetics in perfect order :D
quite old-style hotel, maybe needs refreshment
Nice view of the bay; quiet at night
Only free wi-fi in the lobby area; amenities (hair dryer, etc) quite old
Location Staff Rental car Sixt point
Temperature swimming pool Older hotel (materials)
Every member of the hotel staff made sure our stay was wonderful. The breakfast was superb, the rooms were spacious and very comfortable and the front desk was most helpful.
The only thing we didn't like was having to leave too soon.
Paying extra for the wifi is a bit rip off
Worn down hotel, unfriendly staff, air-con running loudly non stop even though it was cold autumn. In serious need of renovation.
