Location was good, near to railway station and central.Friendly staff and good space for car parking. Breakfast was nice (quite basic level for finnish hotels) but best was the pancakes! Nice, basic city hotel. Floor air conditioning was not effective, and hotel room was really warm (more than 25 degrees celcius). I would not say that room was dirty, but it could have been cleaner (e.g. door sides) and room seemed to be little bit old and worn. Toilet door (privacy) was not so functional. Room was ok for one night. Price was high when compared to room quality, but it was "high season weekend" and all hotels in Tampere were booked/well priced. =)

Nice location close to railway station; very helpful staff; especially noteworthy is that the beds were very good to sleep in because sheets, covers and pillows were not too warm (which seems often to be the case in hotels).

Exceptionally nice adn friendly staff, we got help with all the bookings at other sites, clear directions. The hotel has a very good restaurant, we ate there in the evenings, they have delicious food. Very clean, queit and comfortable rooms. Tea, coffee in the room, ironing board and iron, selection of pillows. Excellent place to stay.

Excellent position, 2 mins walking from railway station. Free internet, wide choice breakfast. Staff is helpful and efficient. Room is well provided with accessories/amenities. Free sauna at top floor. No (evident) possibility to control heating/cooling

Very friendly staff, good location The room (155) seemed to be very close to a goods elevator which made a noise late at night and early in the morning and woke us up a few times, I guess this cannot be avoided though

I stayed there with my boyfriend and we had so many things to do, so we didn't spend so much time in the hotel. But hotel room was clean and bed was comfortable. Also bathroom was very nice. Summer is hot, so ac was really important! Anyway, I had really good time! Staff was qualified, but I think they should be more friendly or more smiling. We got everything what we needed (we didn't have toothpaste with us), but i got the feeling that receptionist was thinking that we just wanted because it was free.

It's a very nice hotel with a great choice for breakfast. The rooma are very clean and the bathroom is so large and confortable. It's near to the main street of Tampere. Everyone at the hotel are so halpfull for everything you need!

I was upgraded to an Executive room with en-suite sauna.The sauna came with timer and temperature regulator so that I could set the time and the temperature in order to find it ready for my return to the room.Excellent and very professional service.Good beds, good pillows and linen, as usual with ihg properties.Nice view from the sauna-hot tub on the 8th floor.Location and quaintness of the district The lamp beside my bed had a dimmer and a power-saving type of bulb.No wonder it could not work.Temperature in the room could not be regulated and the window could not open completely
