Good location. Reasonably nice breakfast. Free wifi. Staff not very friendly. Hotel was absolutely full of small children and the breakfast was a horrendously loud experience. Loud maintenance/repairwork in the hotel throughout our stay. Over priced for the quality of hotel.

It was the only available hotel at the time. Location was good. The rate was high though the room was small and the bed was not really a twin bed, quite narrow. We have never slept so uncomfortably in a hotel room, so we cannot recommend the "twin" bed room.

Pool and sauna were great. Location is good, too, close to the train station, the main bus line right in front of the hotel, and yet away from the noisy main part of the city. We had requested a quiet room yet were given a room on the same floor as a youth soccer team....

Excellent location near all sights. 140Cm double bed was slightly narrow for Finnish standards but still ok. Only one blanket for two to share - ok in the summer but might not be so ok in the winter...

Loved the extra value of tea/coffee making facilities and the fridge in the room. Staff was also nice, polite (though communication wasnt so good - nobody present did not know anything of agreements made before theough phone, e-mail) Cleaning was poor. Our rooms were very dusty - floors, shelves etc. Next day sheets were not straightened etc

This was the second time within two weeks we visited the hotel having booked and prepaid about three months in advance. Therefore we could not cancel the second stay after our first stay. As mentioned in my first review the hotel advertised free parking but on arrival we still had to pay for parking. This time the room was so small that we could hardly sleep two persons plus a dog. However price for the room was nearly double the price we paid for the first much better room. A hotel of this standard ought to provide free wireless internet access.

When we booked and paid for the room about three months in advance the hotel advertised free parking, but when we arrived there was no free parking. We were told they had changed policy a week earlier.

We were attending Ruisrock. Holiday Inn was the only Hotel with room. We had to stay there for three nights around 170 € per Night for two people. On the future we will never stay at holiday Inn with these prices no matter what.

Hotel has a lot of advantages for many purposes: whether it is a tourist or business trip, alone, with family or friends.Rooms are very cosy, quite and clean (everyday bedlinen change) Also a very big advantage is location close to city centre and main places of interest.Anyway a very nice choice. it is impossible to open the windows if there is too hot.

The hotel is over-rated. Service is in general deficient. Check-in service was very unfriendly. The room was not made until 18:00, and we had to ask several times for it, finally we got it almost as a "special favour". Quality/cost ratio is below average. Check-out service was very friendly.

The overall atmosphere was good. Staff is careful to customer needs and always available. There is a beautiful and relaxing riverside walk, Railway Station is at 10 min walking distance, so is the city center.

According to your website, this was the only hotel in Turku with a single room equipped with a double bed. Your website also had a picture which unmistakeably confirmed this. I don't like twin beds when I am traveling with company. The price of the room was advantageous but unimportant. Cheap reproductions of roses. Hang better art on your walls!

The hotel was undergoing renovations. Apparently they are building a car park onto the back. This meant that jack-hammering started at seven am and continued through-out the day. At least until we left at midday, never to return. It was impossible to sleep, eat or work with the noise. The hotel should not have been operating while this level of work was being undertaken and it reflects poorly on them that they should even have considered doing so.

Very friendly hotel staff, perfect sound isolation, good location of the hotel (in city center). Lack of system administrator to solve some minor problem with computer on the reception.
