Kitchen and floors could be cleaner.
Lots of facilities. For the price I can't complain.
We stayed in two different rooms. The big dormitory for maximum 8 people was wide and nice.
We stayed in two different rooms. The room for 3 people was too small to have suitcases opened.
the hostel wasn't in the centre
the furniture seems to be very old and the kitchen has not many pots
Perfectly clean hostel! Although we stay in a 12 bed room, we don't feel disturbed at all. Very polite guests with whom i made great friends.
Location is not so convenient. you have to hike up a hill to get in.
Reasonable price for breakfast. comfotable bed,
This hostel is not so clean in the shower room and toilet.
Excellent location: 20 min brisk walk from the centre, easily accessible by public transport too. Helsingin Jäähalli is right next door (which was very convenient since the main purpose of my visit was a concert held there), and plenty of sights are within walking distance (Sibelius monument, Stadium Tower and Linnanmäki to name but a few). The rooms and the facilities are nice, reasonably clean and quiet at night. The staff is lovely and very helpful. Luggage can be left in a locked room outside the check-in/out hours.
WiFi is only accessible in the common area and a couple of rooms next to it, if you're lucky.
The staff were friendly and helpful
The wifi doesn't reach the dorm rooms so you have to go the dining area.
the staff is nice
- the location is terrible. It's far away from the city center, so you have to take a tram - you cannot find the hostel at all without asking people on the street - the bed is dirty, the shower is dirty, the WC is beyond dirty
The room is comfortable! The faculty is very nice, and you can ask for help 24hrs.
It is a little far from the central station, and the airport, but the traffic is not so bad.
nice and helpful staff, fairly clean environment but sometimes the toilets can be dirty
if you are going in winter with a luggage it will be quite exhausted to drag it through a long path covered with snow and ice, but if you are not that's not a problem. Wifi is only available in lobby and canteen which is inconvenient.
It was value for money, considering all other accommodation in Helsinki cost so much more. Well connected by 4 trams that were quite frequent. Our longest wait was 4 minutes. Many facilities available - kitchen, laundry, TV
It was not easy to find. Some greasy pots and bowls in the kitchen. Wifi was available only at the reception and restaurant. Nothing in the bedrooms, kitchen, dining area, tv room.
The toilets were smelly.
too far away from city center
The location not easy to find and the staff there is so agrecive with me when I am arrive and the bathroom no key it's open for the clean man no left
Bathroom and my room it's so far
There are 2 floors and I need to walk long to the toliette and kitchen.
The best price, nice place and location, kitchen and stuff is included. If you have your lock, you can keep your things in special box.
I booked 8-beds room, however they gave me a room with12 beds. Anyway, there were around 8 persons in the chamber.
Great value for money - apartment with 2 floors and all the kitchen utilities.
It is a station hotel - meaning that it is fairly cheap and basic.
The staff is VERY kind and will help you in WHATEVER you need. At least you can have a good breakfast for 6.50€, compared to how expensive Helsinki is.
No Wifi in the rooms only in common areas. Dirty looking sheets. I found another person sleeping in my bed the first night due to a mistake of the staff and was at 4.00 in the morning. I claimed for changing the room, and the staff agreed.
Prices all over Helsinki are quite high and Stadion Hostel offers really good prices comparing to the majority of hotel / hostels in the city. It has all the necessary facilities like kitchen, living-rooms with TV and sofas, free Wi-Fi and also you can buy breakfast which is also not too expensive comparing to Helsinki prices. The hostel is not far from the city centre and is very convinient to reach by tram. There is a free luggage room and bed linen is included in the price. The staff is nice and helpful.
The hostel is not very close to the city centre, like half an hour on foot, but still it's not a problem for those who like walking or don't mind using public transport.
The staff is nice and helpful, there is lots of space and internet computers for use. Ghost did not make an appearance. The area is secluded in Central park and when there are no sports events, rather quiet for downtown Helsinki.
Location is not optimal, if you have to carry something and your feet are full of blisters, kitchen, living room, lockers and much everything is downstairs only. Sheets were stained.
It is OK.
The people there were really nice and fun , and at the same time the hotel was really quiet all silence... Very nice to sleep... No noise
It dont has nothing nearly to do... No restaruante no shopping ... For this things you must to take de tram. Is a three block no too far
-this place really need repair, all furniture is very old and used, -dirty
The staff was very helpful.
There were no locks on the doors in the bathroom which made me feel somehow uncomfortable. It was difficult to find some cups, forks and spoons in the bathroom. The lockers are not free either.
