The toilets were smelly.
too far away from city center
The location not easy to find and the staff there is so agrecive with me when I am arrive and the bathroom no key it's open for the clean man no left
Bathroom and my room it's so far
There are 2 floors and I need to walk long to the toliette and kitchen.
The best price, nice place and location, kitchen and stuff is included. If you have your lock, you can keep your things in special box.
I booked 8-beds room, however they gave me a room with12 beds. Anyway, there were around 8 persons in the chamber.
Great value for money - apartment with 2 floors and all the kitchen utilities.
It is a station hotel - meaning that it is fairly cheap and basic.
The staff is VERY kind and will help you in WHATEVER you need. At least you can have a good breakfast for 6.50€, compared to how expensive Helsinki is.
No Wifi in the rooms only in common areas. Dirty looking sheets. I found another person sleeping in my bed the first night due to a mistake of the staff and was at 4.00 in the morning. I claimed for changing the room, and the staff agreed.
Prices all over Helsinki are quite high and Stadion Hostel offers really good prices comparing to the majority of hotel / hostels in the city. It has all the necessary facilities like kitchen, living-rooms with TV and sofas, free Wi-Fi and also you can buy breakfast which is also not too expensive comparing to Helsinki prices. The hostel is not far from the city centre and is very convinient to reach by tram. There is a free luggage room and bed linen is included in the price. The staff is nice and helpful.
The hostel is not very close to the city centre, like half an hour on foot, but still it's not a problem for those who like walking or don't mind using public transport.
The staff is nice and helpful, there is lots of space and internet computers for use. Ghost did not make an appearance. The area is secluded in Central park and when there are no sports events, rather quiet for downtown Helsinki.
Location is not optimal, if you have to carry something and your feet are full of blisters, kitchen, living room, lockers and much everything is downstairs only. Sheets were stained.
It is OK.
The people there were really nice and fun , and at the same time the hotel was really quiet all silence... Very nice to sleep... No noise
It dont has nothing nearly to do... No restaruante no shopping ... For this things you must to take de tram. Is a three block no too far
-this place really need repair, all furniture is very old and used, -dirty
The staff was very helpful.
There were no locks on the doors in the bathroom which made me feel somehow uncomfortable. It was difficult to find some cups, forks and spoons in the bathroom. The lockers are not free either.
It is really easy to find even in the night without a map.
Smell in the kitchen was terrible. Toilets and bathroom were not very clean and Id prefer to stay dirty rather than use this bathroom. All furniture is like 10 years old. lockers are roasted. The whole impression is like it is a dirty place.
Affordable, good location, lots of facilities. Third stay and there's a reason to come back.
Shared the dorm with people that left in the early hours and with loud snorers. Not much sleep.
People being friendly
There were no lockers in the bathroom, shower room which made me feel uncomfortable.
- Far from the centre - Horrendous toilet and shower facilities! By far the worst I've ever seen! - Poor wifi connection that only works in the reception
Impossible to sleep. Way too much noise from the football match (at times the walls were vibrating). Very bright lights outside and no room darkening curtains. The only quiet period was for maybe an hour or so after the match ended and before the street cleaners got started. No arrangements for privacy and tiny lockers with no lock in the dorm room. Also, to top off the experience, the whole hallway smell like the men's bathroom. I would have had a better night on the couches at the airport.
everything which is required to stay, bed linen, kithen ,dining room ,Internet with system.
No Wi-Fi in rooms
it was cheap, but other than that I don't have much to say other than to meet the 200 character minimum
bathrooms were awful: smelled like something was wrong with their plumbing, could barely fit in the stalls, and no shower curtains or any privacy except timing. zero atmosphere for meeting people and wifi has very limited range.
I liked its locality to the lake, beach and the beautiful Regatta cafe. Facilities were great, nice lounge, and dining room although kitchen a bit cramped. Nice and quiet at night.
price, vending machines, wifi was so so(on laptop it worked in room somehow :), quiet surrounding
room was really small, it was hard to find the hostel, bathroom was outside but it was ok and clean.
It was my first time in an hostel and i rather pay more and stay in a hotel, the shower was poor and not in good conditions, however it was good that i was able to book a 2 beds room just for me and i paid 60 euros
The shower was really bad
The room was spacious. Beds were okay, although a little noise if people were getting in or out late at night.
The wifi only works strictly in the lunch room, or small reception area. There were a lot of people sitting on the steps at all hours so as to be on wifi. The kitchen is also quite poor to use. We were also there while a soccer tournament for young school kids was on. They were very noisy, and their minders let them do what they wanted. No discipline at all. They were kicking the walls late at night or early in the morning.
