Wonderful log cabins, perfect place for watching the northern lights.Husky, snowmobile and reindeer safaris available, nice tracking paths at nearby Kiilopaa and ski possible at nearby Saariselka.

I would not recommend the 4 hours reindeer safari. The travel to and from the location is 1 hour, no running reindeer, only moving at slow walking speed. I recommend the 2,5 hours safari instead with a Sami host and running reindeer at a nearby location.

Nice, cosy and warm chalet, the small one is perfect for two adults. Very nice experience in the glass igloo, although too expensive. Nice location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Late check-out (14h) was possible at no additional cost.

Shower next to the sauna was not working, pipes were frozen. Curtains were missing behind the bed and in the kitchen.

It is not many choices of food in the restaurant. My cabin was outside the site but no prior notice and no indication on the hotel map. Hotel staff didn't warn us to bring light with us to walk at night. Turn out there's absolute darkness and no signage to lead me back to the cabin after dinner. We are worried to get lost and animals around. We requested for transporation to our cabin at night the other day and turn out the driver doesn't know the way at all.

The environment is good with great view. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

I stay in honey moon suit. However, the room is small and only with private Sunna and large bathroom but nothing special. The lighting is not enough.

Great set up with private cabins, fully equipped with kitchenette and sauna. Restaurant food was excellent with an extensive a la carte menu.

The glass igloo we were assigned to was at Santa's Village and we were thus subject to a third rate burlesque transgender cabaret show during dinner which had no bearing on our surroundings or business being rammed down our throats - terrible.

Rude unhelpful staff. Keep an eye open for extra hidden charges for things you didn't agree too. Very expensive activities, would recommend people book their activities through local agents in the village near by.

The cabin is excellent, with wooden decoration, which gives a special experience to city people. The place is dark enough so that we could see the aurora outside the cabin. Staff are very helpful and they try their best to provide the service. I highly appreciate them as there is limited staffs. I arrived from Inari, there's is a bus stop right outside the resort, and then I went to Rovaniemi from the same bus stop. It's very convenient if you find the correct bus schedule.

There are only limited staff serving the restaurant, reception and booking activities. They are extremely busy during dinner hours. But the staff already do their best. It's the problem of the management people. There is a kitchen, but need to drive to nearest market while local bus is infrequent. But the restaurant set dinner is of fair quality not, while the a La Carte menu is nice with reasonable price. The heating system will be switched off when we switched on the sauna. More unfornately, I've been run out of hot water during my shower. Okay it's a resort in remote area, all the price goes to the cabin and the environment .

The experience in a snow and glass igloo was great but extremely pricey. The small cottages though were well maintained, spacious with lovely wood fire and sauna, these were very good value. The staff are very friendly, especially the owner who would personally greet his guests. This was a nice touch.

The compulsory half board when staying in the igloo had poorer quality food, but when staying in the cottage food was not compulsory and choice from the ala carte menu was very good. The opportunity for choice when staying in the igloo would have been appreciated. There could be better showers/facilities for those staying in the igloo village considering the cost of this, instead of using open showers meant for the sauna users (those who aren't use to showering naked with others are in for a surprise). Extra service to help with luggage to the accommodation would have been helpful. Wifi connection could have been better.

Everything was excellent, really enjoyed our holidays.

The service staff there are excellent. They are patient with my queries and went all out to help me.

The rates were a little expensive. Also, they should have counters for checking in/out, restaurant payments and tour bookings/enquiry separately instead of the all-in-1 they're having now.

we had a group of five in a house. After the 1st one bathed, the water became cold. It still did not warm enough to next bathing even we were waiting for 3 hours.

The log cabins were warm and spacious. The location is superb and almost makes up for all of the other shortcomings.

The staff are multi-tasking between the cafe and the hotel, meaning that they seem extremely flustered and unable to help with showing you to your room (which would be useful as the map is not to scale and pretty inaccurate). The breakfast was adequate but the main restaurant food was expensive, poor quality and badly cooked. It is not a true reflection of Lapland food in any way.

Lived in the log cabin for a night. The design of the log cabin was nice and it was fun starting the fireplace.

The toilet was not in a very good condition. Instructions for starting the fireplace was not accurate. The smoke detector went off but no one came to assist us. Service could be better given the price.

The food was not very good for a first class resort. The quality of the cuisine rather let the hotel down, since in every other way the facilities and services were excellent.

The location was a dream and the cabins were wonderful! Having read some of the other reviews I do not agree. Firewood was plenty and free, staff was excellent and helpful and the food was very good.

Certain aspects of the cabin were a bit outdated. Yes certain things are way overpriced but do keep in mind that you're in a very remote area. Do take the local bus and not the hotel bus which is more than twice the price.

Nos dieron una cabaña suite queen y la experiencia ha sido increible. Ideal para viajar en pareja. Lo sorprendente fue entrar dentro, inpeccionar la cabaña, ver la preciosa bañera, la sauna y abrir la ultima puerta que daba a fuera y ver que teníamos un jacuzzi en medio de la nieve!! ;)

Que las cabañas no tengan wifi con lo cual te obligan a ir al comedor o bar para conectarte...

Estuve alojada en una de las cabañas y fue fantástico, tienen todas las comodidades, cocina, sauna, chimenea... y con mucha intimidad ya que están bastante separadas unas de otras. El restaurante fenomenal y el trato del servicio perfecto.

Quizá para una estancia larga está demasiado lejos del centro ya que al rededor no tienes ningún servicio.

leider einiges!!! Das Hotel ist dienstleistungsmäßig unterdurchschnittlich. Gemessen am Preis wird einem hier wenig bis gar nichts geboten. Es gibt keinen vorgesehen Gepäcktransport zu den bis zu 10 Gehminuten entfernten Cabins/ Bungalows. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit einen Mietwagen ab Hotel zu bekommen. Es gibt zu wenige Möglichkeiten in den nächsten Ort (10 km entfernt) zu gelangen. Für die Hotelgääste die gerade keine Aktivitäten (relativ hoher Aufschlag des Hotels gegenüber dem Grundpreis) gibt es während des Tages sehr wenige und eher unterdurchschnittliche Möglichkeiten an eine warme Mahlzet zu kommen. Hohe Transferkosten zum Flughafen Der Aufpreis für den Glas-Igloo ist happig. Fazit: Anlage schön, Preis zu hoch, Service unterdurchschnittlich (die Angestellten sind allerdings bemüht) Besser könnte man um ein drittel des Preises einen ähnllichen Bungalow in Saariselkä mieten, dort essen gehen, die Aktivitäten direkt im Ort bei den Veranstalter buchen, mittels eines Leihwagens (Straßen sind geräumt und schneebedeckt) in den Ort oder auch in die Umgebung gelangen und dabei eine Menge Geld sparen bei insgesamt höherer Qualität. Gegenargument - Das Hotel war in unserer Woche offensichtlich weitggehend ausgebucht und aus ökonomischer Sicht zählt offenbar nur das!
