Our cabin was small and simple but comfortable, with everything we needed. Nice, English-speaking staff. Beautiful vicinity.
There were some redundand broken devices in the kitchen.
Good location if you have a car. Quiet atmosphere.
Dirty kitchen utensils. Bad smell in our little cabin. Uncomfortable and small beds.
Camping`s place quite good - near at road, but not closely and not noise. Recepcion open all day.
I stayed only one night and didn`t notice bad thing.
+ a river near the camping + nice place + free tea or coffee
- small houses (enought for 1 night)
Accommodation cheap for Finland but the camping is well below par..
Next to a very busy road for Lapland The site has not been well maintained at all, It'srun down. Less a campsite more a busy petrol station with a few grass areas right next to where trucks park.
House and facilities are good
Access to house was a challenge on wooden stairs built into hill as we were taking trolley luggages. Sloping path would've great.
Beautiful location - winter wonderland! Also the helpful staff were so lovely! Gorgeous place across from frozen River Ivalo.
We booked a cabin without an ensuite so we knew what we were getting into so this is not a negative comment as such. Simply that in the middle of the night when you want to go to the toilet, a walk in the freezing cold, makes you think twice :) However the shared facilities are very clean and well kept.
Equipment in shared kitchen were quite limited
Very nice people on the reception.
You must pay for coating :(
Such a nice little spot with the most amazing and kind staff. There is a common kitchen with cookware, common shower and toilet, all to be used frew of charge and in decent condition. The cabins are warm and cosy with bunkbeds, not the most comfortable beds, but we chose low cost over luxury. From the cabins there is a 5 minutes walk to the river, which is a good spot to look at the Northern lights. Also there is free wifi and karaoke in the bar/restaurant.
It is a shame that the sauna is only open in the summer, it has a great location with view over the river.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Tina helped us booking our exscursion and buying groceries etc., the cottage was cosy and equiped with dish washer was a treat for 6 of us - our stay during Christamas time was short but wonderful. Many thanks!
Nature was beautiful.
Unfortunately our house was dusty.
