Old sympathetic building.

Our room was very beautiful and big. Location was excellent and beautiful and atmosphere were good.

Nice and practical location with tram stop just outside the door. Quiet area so sleeping with open windows are fine.

Although it is a budget accomodation the place would gain from some better maintenance. A coat of paint every 10 years shurely would not hurt.

Excellent location and the fact that the hostel is located in a nice old building, so rooms are charming to my taste; helpful staff so if you principally accept the fact that it's a hostel with shared bathroom this is the best choice.

Very nice place to stay a few nights

We had a lovely stay in kongressikoti. The host was very hospitable and friendly. The room was spacious and it came with in-room facilities that make this hostel scores high in value-for-money. It is a small hostel with only about 10 rooms, but the design makes it very homey. We definitely had a pleasant stay.

It was a little difficult to locate the hostel initially, because the signage was very small and easily missed. Fortunately a friendly local helped us to find the hostel.

Great location and very helpful staff

Only 1 toilet for each sex for all 6 rooms. Could have been made into 2 unisex toilets for all rooms.

Nice atmosphere, balcony with a rooftop-view and of course Galina - most helpfull concierge we have ever meet :).

Very good value for money (as Helsinki and Finland in general aren't particularly cheap.). The location is great, in Kruununhaka district, quiet, filled of nice old buildings, and very close from the heart of Helsinki. Tram stop right in front of hostel building

Great location, good value . . . A very quirky place, full of character!

Staff wasn't the friendliest . . . Also if you are used to ultra modern hostels this isn't the place for you!

Bed was a bit soft for my liking

The location of the hostel was excellent: in the heart of the city and close to the train station which was the main reason for us to stay.

We booked a double room, but given a twin room upon our arrival. They gave double room right away when we asked, so it was not a problem. The room, bathroom, and the toilet were in 'ok' condition, but they need some renovation through the hostel, I think. The fridge was in the room but not plugged and I don't know if it is working. Kitchen was too small with a table for 4 and was not enough space for everyone to have breakfast.
