A relaxing place with own sauna
Cottage was lovely. Sauna in room was great. Beds very comfortable.
nice cottage, good position for winter sports..
staff unfriendly, breakfast very poor, expensive...no cleaning during the stay..
we forgot that in Finland there was one hour less than in Sweden and Italy and we arrived late for breakfast. A very kind girl took us all the same all we need to eat The houses are big and very nice and very well furnished
the sauna in the cottage
it rained in the bedroom, the sound of the rain drops woke me up in the middle of the night and we had to use towels to prevent the couch from getting wet
Wifi is unstable in the cottage since, might becasue of the distance to the front desk.
Own sauna and kitchenette
It was dog hair on the floor and we had a baby with ous so that was litle bit sad that we had to clean the flor and the couch.
everything about here was amazing, great for walking and cycling. Staff are a credit and very helpful. Would stay here again without a doubt.
Great location a little way from the centre. Good walk, or short drive. Close to shopping centre and a great base for Rovaniemi to explore. Great sauna in the cabin. Great beds and friendly staff. Recommended.
The kitchen could have used a few extra items for cooking and making tea. Some small things needed fixing, but all in all a great place to stay.
Sauna , kitchen
The cabins were warm and comfortable. Under floor heating in the bathroom was lovely. Small kitchenette was very useful. Beds comfortable.
Breakfast was just about ok.
Spent the Easter Holidays here. Perfect location if you are into winter sports (Skiing, XC, hiking). Better if you travel there with a car in case you are planning to move around or visit Rovaniemi, Santa Claus village etc. There is a shop very close by where you can find all your needs. The basic cabin was great for two-person (also room for children upstairs). And the best part is of course the sauna! Breakfast is basic, yet good.
Private birthday party at the restaurant was quite noisy, though our cabin was located far from the main building. However, the staff handled it very kindly and the volume was down after we called the reception.
The cleanest and newest cabin I have ever had. I love the kitchen, sauna, everything. Very close driving to city center of Rovaniemi & Santa Claus Village. Parking is so easy and next to my cabin. I even saw the northern lights right outside my cabin. Breakfast was so good too, I ate enough in it's morning buffet that I could even skip my lunch.
Simple cabin with all the amenities needed
Not easy to commute back to without taxis which are very expensive
Great log cabin with sauna Close to ski resort and lots of snow
Homely feel Siva supermarket is nice and has reasonably priced necessities
Location is bad Tour arrangements is difficult & nobody at the resort is interested to recommend places to visit The walk to the city centre is about 1 hour. Taxi costs €14-15 per way. Expensive food in resort
Loved loved loved the sauna and the snow the food in your restaurant was fantastic your staff were happy friendly and fun
The cost of everything in your county wow! A night out on the town is about the price of a small car.
We loved our little chalet; it was warm and cosy, with all the amenities we needed for a few days in Rovaniemi. Having a sauna within the chalet was awesome! We went on a few trips, and it's great that the companies collect you from your accommodation.
We only ate in the restaurant one evening but weren't too keen on the food, although the breakfasts were nice. I'd recommend hiring a car so you can get out and about, and also pick up some pasta etc to cook in the chalet, otherwise I'd imagine it's quite expensive and restrictive to rely on taxis.
The staff was friendly. The accommodation was nice and clean, also nicely located if you want to do alpine or cross-country skiing (in front of the hill). The breakfast was nice with a good variety of food.
Except for skiing, you need to order a taxi every time you want time you want to go to the city center (it cost around 15€) or somewhere else. Their restaurant is also expensive regarding the very poor food quality.
Great Cabin which was much larger than I expected, next time I'll have to bring more friends. The Sauna was great and there is a little shop near by where you can do your shopping for the self-catering kitchen, or enjoy a meal at the nice restaurant.
Very good location. However a bit small, the house was fine as a starting point for all that Rovaniemi has to offer. Supermarket, restaurant and skiing area are all closeby. However consider renting a car to be more flexible in going around and it may bring you significant savings in day trips. For instance the zoo in Ranua is much cheaper if you just drive there and pay the entrance fee, than if you book it as an excursion. Another tip is to use bearhillhusky directly in stead of via an agent, we did the two day trip which was a great success, also for the kids.
Would have been nice to get a discount on ski rental and ski pass.
activities, helpful & friendly staff, excellent breakfast, comfortable beds & clean quiet apartment. Close to station. Free use of sleds
No kids menu in main restaurant. Restaurant service friendly but slow. Food & wine in restaurant expensive.
It was situated in a very nice area. Close to the city centre and S.C. village. Nice cottages although a kind of a small living room for 3 adults and 2 children. Friendly staff
No childrens menu in the restaurant.
