Everything was just wonderful!
Breakfast is amazing. Rooms are tidy and modern
A bit far out Overpriced parking
The room is clean, the breakfast is really good, and the staff is really helpful as well.
To watch tv you have to pay, to have better internet you have to pay, to have a bottled water you have to pay (no complimentary bottled), we got the room in the 6th floor, and we have to go through a maze each time we go out. We don't get any shower cap, and small toiletries.
The advertisement drew me I. Because I thought for my money I was going to stay in an old castle with a nice big fireplace. No such thing. It was a nightmare getting to my tiny little room with a view of the parking area. The cleaner uses the same cleaning clothes for every room and the floor was sticky... Ot very impressed I am sorry. Way too much for very little but the staff were very helpful especially the reception.
Glowing bed, clean, cool glass shower, very nice night Manager who made up for many othr hotel inadequacies
No minibar, no room service, no bar downstairs, no food in hotel at all really apart from a sandwich or two..
Very good bed, good breakfast, big 24/7 grocery store next to the hotel.
Room was very far away from reception, lots of doors to open with key card on the way. No minibar or even wine cooler on the room. Very good but no luxury.
- Staff is really nice and she reminds to do as much as shopping on the next day, as in Sat will be Finnish Independent day - Staff does provide useful and accurate travel information - Hotel are stylish and well designed
- not very good value of money, you can find better alternative with this cost, room i the smallest among all of my stay for this 2 week trip - facilitates is not enough, lotions are not provided at bathroom and we have take in the front-desk (imagine you just took a shower and feel so itchy and find no lotion in the bathroom) - no electric kettle in the room, not to say coffee or tea... as a hotel and with this cost...it is unacceptable (just - WiFi speed is slow (~512kbps) as you have to pay for higher speed, you can watch YouTube with this speed - Though hotel itself sent a separate email to my mailbox, they didn't mention how we get there
Good location and breakfast.
Modern clean rooms, nice design. Very reasonable price
The rooms were too small, and the hotel looks like a castle only outside and in the reception area, but the rooms have nothing common with the medieval style
Very friendly staff as they can provide many useful information. The adjustable bed is really nice that we all have a good sleep. Breakfast is nice as well that many fresh vegetable and fruits are served. A 24h supermarket is close to the hotel where only need to cross the street so give us a lot if convenience! The bathroom is clean and comfortable!
The room size is a bit small for us who carried suitcases.
Glass wall to bathroom. If you put lights in bathroom (during night) there is light in whole room. Not good, if someone else is still sleeping.
Location, building and room was nice
Slow internet, extra costs to upgrade, Sauna cost money, noisy room, expensive breakfast. It is not a hotel for the frequent business traveller.
Great interior design
great localisation breakfast was good the bed were very comfortable
the hotel was quite big not so cosy there is the beautiful entrance and front door... and the rest of the hotel : more like a business hotel in a very big building
Glowing bed Newly refurbished
No minibar No room service
Wifi was very slow and the room was TINY.
nice & helpful staff new and comfortable rooms great breakfast
the hotel is bigger than you'd think from the pics - I had to walk through 3 gates and 2 elevators to get to my room on 6th floor I think its fine to have items you need to pay extra for in minibar but just leaving bottles of water in room with a 3 Euro price tag is not something I would expect in this price range. Same goes for leaving stuffed animals with a 23 Euro price tag (I could see my kids asking for one if they found it in the room and played with it throughout the stay. this was a business trip though...)
Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast with home-made jams. Modern rooms.
The small rooms are very small. Reception staff will try to upsell you to a bigger one, which we would definitely recommend. Sauna seems to be overbooked.
nothing in particular
Location Bed Friendly staff
Price was a bit on the high side
- the cheapest room (Smart) was compact but well-organised - there was a double bed but the room would have been a bit too small for two persons, in my opinion... - a nice hotel with Jugend style in the reception - close to the city but in a quiet neighbourhood.
- big problems with the tv system and the reception couldn't solve them without IT support (it was weekend...) - no bathrope or slippers in the room as promised.
Location and cost were primary as was the option to have a fzmily room. We were over to see our daughter who met us in Helsinki and the fact we could have a family room at a reasonable rate was a winner. We did not eat in thee restaurant as were booked elsewhere both nights but it was busy with residents and non residents using it. The breakfast was of an excellent quality with plenty of choice. Has a lovely bar area where people met and which had a really lovely atmosphere. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. If we ever come back to Helsinki we would book here again. ThNks for a lovely stay.
Our bathroom door did not shut properly which ws a bit awkward given there were three of us. We didnt complain as it was such a short trip and didnt cause huge idnconvenience. I am sure if we had of complained it would have been rectified however.
The main entrance and the lobby are part of a beautiful early 20th century Art Nouveau building while the guest rooms are in a tasteful modern design. The staff is friendly, polite and professional. Recommended!
A bit far from the centre.
The location is halfway between the ferry terminal to Tallinn and the city centre which was ideal for my purposes
Wifi was very patchy in the rooms
